Walked in and first thing we saw was a 14/15 year old kid at the bar, thought it was kinda weird but it's a small town so whatever. This kid then whips out a 3 inch blade and starts doing 'tricks' with it (he wasn't very good and kept dropping it) and like no shade but white boys with weapons is no good. Then the waitress came out and said she was the only one there and could only cook one thing on the menu, no choices, so we dipped. Place seemed super shady would not recommend. read more

OMG!! I have been going to Kodis for many years. Never have I been served or treated in this rude, disrespectful manner!! My partner & I went for dinner & drinks this Friday afternoon, the 17th of April. We ordered jalapeño poppers, a grilled cheese sandwich with tater tots & their special Taco Salad w beef. The grilled cheese was not cooked through, the taco meat was so salty I could only eat some. No one came to rectify the situation nor apologize for the poor meal. No one brought a bill. We took our left over food to the bar, got a box to go and asked for our bill. She totaled it up on the register & told me $73+. I asked to see the bill. She brought me a pad w the order wrote down, no pricing . I asked for prices, she spoke each price, found she had charged us double for 2 shots of Hornitos. Came back w a price of $63+ the new bartender said $61+. Then a male bartender said some people just like to complain, I asked if he was accusing me of that, he said yes, you act like you're entitled!! I scoffed, he said it was ti.e for me to leave!! The new bartender then escorted my partner & I out of this bar. Un f ing real!! The only thing we were entitled to was a good meal at a good price which we received neither!! Shame!! The service was wonderful. My husband and I had the three piece fish and chips.with the salad . As we wanted the chicken but the were out of it. The presentation of our food was great . The blue cheese dressing was very good, and the salad look fresh however both of us had dirty lettuce. Neither of us said anything. It's been raining a lot in California. So the produce really needs to be washed. And the Ambiance was typical of a tavern. I guess we should have had cheeseburgers as that looks like their specialty. read more

Sometimes I get the side eye from the regulars when I walk in because I'm not one it that doesn't stop me from calling in a to go order of delicious burger and fries - tater tots if they have them. Tiny little kitchen and minimal staff so don't go if you're in a hurry. read more

Our family took a four day trip up to Winthrop and stopped at Kodis for lunch on our way up. That is one solid fricking burger. In fact it was probably the best meal that we had eating out on our whole trip. It was earlier in the afternoon but the staff was friendly and attentive while still getting their ducks in a row for the day. Chris was especially kind and lead us in the direction of the black morel mushrooms available for picking in the wake of fires last year outside of Winthrop. Seems like it would be a good place to tie one off with friends after a day of boating. We will definitely be stopping again next year. read more

Bacon cheese burgers are amazing. The chicken strips and fries were ok chicken a little dry. The ranch dipping sauce was so so.

The bartender was super nice and attentive. The beer was ice cold. The entire town of twisp is very cute! o

This place is the epitome of small town dive bar, which isn't a bad thing. Drinks were cheap. Service was prompt. The menu while limited, had the kinds of things you would want while watching a game (which is why we sought it out). read more

Oh goodness, this place scares me. You walk in and the aroma of grease quickly absorbs into your hair and clothes. And then you encounter the flies...in October, buzzing overhead and in your ear. But I so desperately wanted to see Game 2 of the ALCS, so I sucked it up. We sat at the "bar" which resembles an old school lunch counter of sorts. I will give them this...they had a decent number of tvs for a place in the middle of no-where. At the bar they had 1 TV on the baseball game, another on some car race (and no, it wasn't NASCAR, F1, etc...) and another was turned onto the Husky game. At one point the baseball game got changed to Grey's Anatomy and luckily some guy in the back spoke up, but the bartender wasn't in any hurry to change it back...he'll get to it when he gets to it. I will give him this...we always had a cold beer in front of us. They have 3 beers on tap (bud, bud light and kokanee) so it wasn't a tough choice. I think the lack of beer selection is balanced out by the number of choices in pull tabs (I didn't even know what a pull tab game was until I moved to WA). The bathrooms are disgusting. They need to do a deep cleaning and get rid of the cobwebs filled with all sorts of bugs. After a few of the cold beers I started to get hungry and knew I couldn't, wouldn't eat there so we had to move on to the sports bar around the corner which was cleaner but had the Husky game on EVERY channel. I asked about changing one of the smaller TVs to the baseball game and apparently they are all linked...and you call yourself a sports bar? pfffttt..... Anyway, if you are looking for an "experience" (define it as you will) and you find yourself in Pateros...you might want to check out Kodi's...or better yet, drink a couple of beers in your room and save yourself. read more

Kodis is a 'local's' bar. The people are great if you can chat them up. As far as places with bathrooms that you can buy condoms in, this place is top notch.There is even a cute little patio with outdoor seating. They do things at their own pace. There seems to be a happy hour but not on weekends (there is at least food specials). Its the only place worth going to if your in the area and don't want to drive 20 miles after getting wasted. I've been coming here for years, I've had my wins and have had my losses there but I felt it needed a shout out on yelp. read more

Kodi's is a great local hangout! Great burgers, stiff drinks, and friendly company. When we are in Pateros we always swing in. Plus, it is within walking distance of either hotel in town. read more

I am a Brit and was working in Brewster for 6 months at USEI. i made Kodi's my second home as I found it to be welcoming and very friendly - the drinking competitions with the local farmers and workers were great. If you want fancy this isn't the place for you - it's a proper mans bar where you can go, get drunk and raise hell. Hope it's still there and thriving. read more

Kodi's is a local bar and in all honesty it doesn't get any better around here as far as bars go. A good time can be had here if the time of year is right and you bring enough friends with you. They do have a jukebox that has a handful of good songs to choose from and a pool table with mismatched balls. They don't have a huge selection of alcohol and have been know to run out on a busy night. Also, the fries are pretty tasty. The drink prices tend to vary depending on the patron, so my advice is to befriend your bartender! ;) Not the best place on earth but beggars can't be choosers, so...drink up! read more
