It's hard to find a Mexican snack bar open at 6 AM, especially with an open liquor bar! In Spain, yes, but not in America. What a surprise to find one in Wenatchee! Bomb Burrito serves breakfast till noon, and maybe later if you ask nicely. At 1:30PM, Emily the hostess talked the cook into making Huevos Rancheros for me. Emily is full time, most of the time--what a sweetheart. I caught her off guard with a photo, told her she'd be in the New York Times tomorrow. She joked with me, but nothing short of excellent service with 12 other customers there (even past lunchtime). The Huevos Rancheros got its bold flavor from the garnishes, herbs, spices and salsa. The beans, rice, tortillas and eggs were very basic--it was the add-ons that brought the entrée to life. It made an excellent presentation without flames coming out my ears. Instead, a comfortable, happy tummy. (See the pics!) The whole facility and furnishings are new and spotless, especially the restrooms. Decent food, just not $75 (after tip) good.... Waitresses are friendly. There's so many other great Mexican options in Wenatchee (and we spend a lot less)- maybe a good grab and go single lunch spot but probably won't be back for a couples dinner. read more

After three days of flavor free breakfasts at The Gorge's Oasis campground, we needed flavor. Bomb burrito was on the way home and hopefully would redeem the breakfast burrito category! So I ordered a sausage burrito and got some of their verde and arbol salsas. The burrito was grilled much like you see in CA which is a good sign. It had ample sausage, but a bit too much when compared to the amount of egg. Potatoes or beans would have helped balance the flavor. This place is absolutely amazing!!! Me and my fiance stopped in after camping at the super oval races. This was so insanely good. My fiance says this was the best chorizo burrito he's ever had. I had the bacon one. The bacon was very crispy and delicious. Salsa was fresh and so good. It seemed they probably make their tortillas in house too. Perfectly chewy soft consistency. We live in Spokane unfortunately but we will make this a mandatory stop every time we go to the races in wenatchee now! read more

Small but comfortable it looks more like a bar than a place you would pick up a breakfast burrito. I was surprised that all the meat style burritos did not come with any onions or peppers as an option but when I asked to put some on mine the gentleman was very polite and asked if I wanted sautéed or raw (choose sautéed). We were in the area and looking for a good dinner spot, just randomly decided to go here. The place is in a complex with ample of parking space. It looks like a small Mexican place from outside but ample of sitting space inside. Short & sweet menu. We ordered their:- Guacamole & chips- Nice crisp nacho chips with tangy guac. Wet burrito- which comes with rice, beans, onion, cilantro, red salsa sauce, choice of meat with side of again rice & beans topped with cheese. Being Vegetarian we opted the dish without any meat. The price $20 including tax! Argh, & food quantity plus taste? Well we'd be better of going to a taco bell. Well, this is what you get when you visit a place without seeing the reviews. Went to check out the hype! Service was great! The waitress was very attentive. There was a longer than usual wait for our food and drinks. Was it worth it? Ambiance: It was busy, you have all sorts of people trying this place out. I imagined it as casual but everyone was a little extra that day except me. It was loud I could tell weather this was a family friendly place or a cantina with burritos. I hope once the hype settles down we can get a better feel. The important part the food: I tried the asada tacos they came 4 per order. They were good , meat was tender the tortillas were doubled up to prevent the taco from breaking that's a plus. But were shy of greatness mark. They came with a side of fries and they lacked salt. Burrito de adobada: this was delicious and way to big for me to eat alone definitely sharing size. It had meat beans rice and guacamole. It came with a side of chips and they were oily, not even sure how that it possible. The drinks: I tried the pomegranate mojito this was a bust it was too sweet and I couldn't taste any pomegranate. I would not recommend it. It did look pretty but fell way short on flavor. The margarita flight: it is a beauty to look at. Fresh made drinks with real fruit which is a bonus but I had to look at the menu twice thinking they were virgin drinks because no alcohol presence in the drinks. 10/10 would not recommend. It should be called bomb rice and beans because that's all your going to get in your 16$ plus tax and tip burrito. Wasn't going to leave a review until I opened my 16$ nacho to find soggy chips drenched in fake cheese and a whisper of what could only be a dash of ground beef. Really disappointed. I wish I could get my 42 dollars back and feed a family of 4 each their own 1/2 pound cheeseburger with actual beef and real cheese. read more

Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed. This was our second try to eat here. The first time they were out of two of their protein selections. I had the chili verde burrito. Not a lot of flavor and not a lot of chile verde, mostly just bland beans and rice. My husband had the wet burrito with shrimp and requested no beans. The first try there were beans in the burrito and on the plate. Second try they got it right but small pieces of shrimp and lots of rice. The salsa bar was pretty boring. Good raspberry margarita though! For nearly $20 per plate, I would expect more. I'll go back to my taco trucks in the future. read more

I had a coupon for $1.50 off so I thought I'd check this place out. The two stars are just for the food, because the service was friendly and quick. I wanted just a beans, rice and cheese burrito but they don't have that on the menu. So I was told to order the signature burrito without meat. But it turns out they charge you the same price as one with meat. It supposedly has their signature sauces which are avocado based and sour cream based but I didn't taste any avocado or sour cream or any sauce of any kind or cheese. It was extremely bland and the tortilla was tough. The chips that came with it were stale and tasted like cardboard. The burrito was not very big and even with the $1.50 off coupon it cost me $16. Food and drinks were ok. Nothing really special. I ordered asada tacos and a Paloma. Meat portion on the tacos was great, unfortunately the meat was dry and lacked flavor. I had to use a lot of salsa and salt to enhance it. Drink was ok. I ordered a paloma because it looked good on the menu. I definitely didn't get what they had on the picture. Bartender admitted she had forgotten to add Tajín and chamoy on the rim after I had asked if I could have some tajin for my drink. Flavor on the Paloma wasn't the greatest. I have tried the food at bomb burritos twice. Once when they recently opened and now. Both times the food has disappointed... What a great find! We went for the first time today and what a great choice to do so. We had a great time. They've been opened for about a year and a half and I don't know why we waited for so long to try it. The food was super good and the cocktails were really great. It's not your typical Mexican restaurant where you have to many choices...the simplicity of it is so much better with the quality of the food and alcohol they serve. I definitely recommend Bomb Burritos for both the food and the drinks. Everyone was so very nice It's a hidden gem and I would definitely scope it out to try it if I were you. She was extremely disrespectful in front of a full restaurant to the point that she made the poor gal cry. This is no way to treat anyone, ever, period. We ordered a chicken burrito yesterday. It was very expensive but people had told me that I needed to try bomb burritos because they were so good. My husband and I shared one. We took it as a pick up and brought it to our house to eat it. The burrito was so sparse on the chicken that I didn't think it was even in there. we were able to find a couple pieces of chicken, but for the price it should've been filled with chicken.
