My stylist name was Tina! ( found out throughout our time together she was the owner). VERY professional, took me too the shampoo chair as she greeted me. One thing I noticed and appreciated was there accommodations for clients with disbailitys ! They had a handicap ramp that goes right into the salon, they were able to move the salon chair and make room for the client with the wheelchair. Everyone is super friendly, clean and professional. I came in for wash, cut and blow out and I was SO happy with my results & to meet these WONDERFUL women in the salon! I will definitely be back next time I am due for another haircut! You can imagine my panic of who was I going to find in the mountains right? BECKY at Salon E. She actually did a color correction after I made the mistake of going to a 'high end' stroudsburg shop. Becky took her time, was very meticulous, and patient. She even corrected the cut I got. I didn't feel rushed or like the shop was just trying to fill the chairs. The hair washing was important as well, she got in in scalp and scrubbed. Some places it feels like they don't even get down to the scalp. They take their time and the styling was also important. Becky took her time to dry a section at a time and curl. I loved it. Shop is small but very cute. And what they may not have in the size of the shop they certainly have in skill. There was a sauna and steam room available for coed use - both were nice. The relaxation room had comfy leather chaise lounges and blankets - but was in an area that was a passage between front of spa and back rooms where treatments are done - making for foot traffic and noise that impacts your ability to relax. The three treatments we chose were a massage, facial and pedicure. The hot stone massage was excellent (coming from someone who has been to many spas and had many massages!). The lavender facial was also excellent. The pedicure was a miss but I appreciated the way they handled our feedback. This has the potential to be a much better spa - they have good people working there. Hopefully they read this feedback and make some investments in renovation.
