Then one day I drove passed Shear Brilliance Salon on 611 and did some research on Google and Facebook. I saw many great reviews so I figured I would give them a call. The woman who answered the phone was extremely nice and made my appointment with Kaci. I am ALWAYS so nervous when it comes to going to new salons and having a new stylist do my hair, but when I walked in I felt very welcomed. Everyone there is so nice and they offer you water or coffee. They always ask if there is anything you need. Now, Kaci is the only stylist I will go to. She's awesome and does exactly what I want to my hair. I am picky, so when there is something I think needs to be fixed, she fixes it no problem! I would definitely recommend this salon! My stylist name was Tina! ( found out throughout our time together she was the owner). VERY professional, took me too the shampoo chair as she greeted me. Proceeded to walk to her chair, sit down, she made small talk, which is nice we had a great conversation, I felt so welcomed and felt like I was a regular! The prices are reasonable . One thing I noticed and appreciated was there accommodations for clients with disbailitys ! They had a handicap ramp that goes right into the salon, they were able to move the salon chair and make room for the client with the wheelchair. Everyone is super friendly, clean and professional. I came in for wash, cut and blow out and I was SO happy with my results & to meet these WONDERFUL women in the salon! I will definitely be back next time I am due for another haircut! They called to cancel my appointment with one day's notice, leaving me a cheery voicemail, apologizing for any inconvenience . Management never returned my phone calls when I called repeatedly asking to speak with somebody. And they continue to send me emails, reminding me to book an appointment for service they no longer offer. I have heard from former employees that management treats them poorly, messes with their schedule and has no respect for keeping customers aligned with the person who you have established a relationship with. To me this demonstrates a disregard both of their employees and their customers. I understand that businesses can choose to make decisions based on a variety of factors. I am not writing this review based on their decision. I am writing this review based on their handling of their decision, which, in my opinion could not have more poorly. Before all of this, I was happy with the establishment for years. i'm sure there are good people that work there who provide great service. I…read morewent in for a blonde balayage after growing out my hair for a year and she absolutely botched it, she bleached the part that i didnt want bleached because i wanted it to be natural and when she blow dried and flat ironed my hair she missed a big chunk, didnt use heat protection, and didnt blow dry it correctly. I ended up calling them to ask someone to fix it but they said they would put me on to the same girl, which didnt make any sense to me because if she didnt know how to do it why would she know how to fix it? Now i have to pay another 175$ on top of the 125$ spent there. The first photo is what i asked for and the second is what i got.
