    01/03/2026 - Thali Platter $14.99
    Teri C.

We were in town for the annual Desert Gardens Annual International Rock, Gem and Mineral Show and was in search of lunch. Imagine our surprise when this Indian spot popped up with such high ratings...we had to check it out! It was so random! When you walk in, the menu is on the wall to the left on a dry erase board. There are no prices listed, so I was concerned. You order at the register, pay for your food and take a seat. It's a pretty casual place and had a fair amount of diners there when we walked in. They also sell various Indian snacks along the wall too. There is one breakfast dish available until 12 noon - Mix Parantha (Aloo, Gobi, and Paneer) with Achaar, Butter, and Dahi. The main lunch items are the Thali Platter where you pick two dishes from either the vegetarian or non-vegetarian options; and it comes with roti, rice, yogurt and salad. They also do unlimited refills on the roti and dishes, which is insane. They do ask that each Thali Platter be for one person. The craziest part - $14.99! They also have other entree dishes - biryani, pakora, and wraps. We opted for: * Thali Platter $14.99 x 2 - Bhindi (okra) and Chicken Curry; Yellow Dal (lentils) and Chicken Curry. Flavors were so good and on point! * Fish Biryani $14.99 - Super generous order, with a lot of onions and bell peppers. * Mango Lassi - Ready to go in the fridge by the register. We didn't exactly realize there was refills on practically everything until someone came around asking us if we wanted more roti, entrees, etc. We were surprised and definitely said yes! They are super generous on the raw red onions. In retrospect, we would have chosen four different dishes instead of doubling up on the chicken curry so we could have tried one other item. There's also spicy pickles on the table that are super spicy, so watch out if you can't handle the heat! We left very satisfied with full stomachs! Definitely a steal for how much you get.

Had no plans to stop here but my wife somehow saw it on map and we decided to. Grabbed a few items and this place was impressive. Super welcoming staff, homely taste in the food, and the quantity is huge for the price that you pay. They do unlimited thali as well it seems but we did not get a chance to try that since we were not that hungry when we arrived here. Tea was very good but they don't do unsweetened option. Break pakoda was super delicious but it was a little oily. Focus here is certainly not healthy food, rather authentic delicious food. Highly recommended stop if you like good Indian food or you are willing to try one.

Thali (all vegan other than yogurt) we got roti without butter. Refills on entrees and all.

So fun to have the dhaba experience (an Indian roadside restaurant) on drives in AZ/ to CA. My husband and I both ordered the Thali sets with choice of two vegetarian entrees that come all you can eat with refills. You select two entrees and get unlimited refills of those two you selected. The food was delicious. We had to be a little bit confident/firm to get going on the refills of the entrees. Judging by the number of times the guy came and asked us if we want bread or rice refills, a less prepared diner might get the impression that the free refills only applied to the bread and rice. "Bread? Rice?" became the punchline of our trip. I loved the roti bread when it was really hot, especially the darker parts and the rajma was a big hit too. We got our roti vegan without butter and a plate that's vegan other than the yogurt (you can ask for no yogurt ) Some language barrier here, at least during our visit and I wouldn't recommend it for people with severe allergies. The pickle mix on the tables was pretty good but very loosely/ poorly covered which was a tad unappealing to us. Definitely a place I would stop at again though given how well spiced the food was and for the fun cultural experience of a roadside dhaba. Very convenient that it's open 24 hours too and located in an area with not many exciting options. The entree options vary some from day to day. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

This place is a combination of a restaurant and convenience store. The menu options are very limited and I was surprisingly happy to find the food was pretty decent. Portions were good for the price and prices were reasonable. I would eat here again.

This is the best Indian food I have and probably ever will consume. Also the people inside are so attentive. Everything about my experience was very wonderful. Anytime I come through I will be stopping by

We were happy to find an Indian place open late night; however, they were lacking in options. Service was ok, workers were apologetic that there was no more additional biriyani rice. They served us raiti instead. FYI: There were a lot of men late night but I was with a group so we were fine. Curry chicken and food was good. Prices pretty high considering the limited menu.

Mix paratha - huge paratha with a slab of butter and yoghurt.

Amazing Punjabi dhaba on I-10. Quartzsite. 24 hours. And right across from the gas station off the exit. Well worth a pit stop. Friendly service and they huddle to make sure you get your food fast, piping hot and fresh. Last but not least the food! Such a highlight. Authentic North Indian food. We tried the paratha, thali, and the chicken biryani.

This is my first stop at an Indian "restaurant"/cafe. Stopped for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the parantha with yogurt. Like a big pancake, it had great flavor and hit the spot. No coffee but the tea was fine. Big selection of Indian flavored salty snacks. Definitely caters to the Indian trucker market but they treated two gringos very well. Fun experience!

We were recommended this place 3 weeks ago. On our trip now to CA; we stopped by. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The staff is polite and service is just amazing! We were blown away with the food! Tired of fast foods on a road trip or long drive, this place is truly a hidden gem! Easy to locate and food quality is top notch. They mean business with their dishes and every flavour is spectacular! A must try.

Random Indian place in the middle of nowhere. Stopped while our car was charging after my husband begged and begged after seeing all the 5-star reviews. I was hesitant. Indian food in the middle of the desert? 24hours? Sounds sketchy/dangerous for my gut lol. I stand corrected. This place is incredible. Food is bomb. Helpful cashier when we were lost regarding all the different dish options. I'm a wimp when it comes to spice levels and we asked for no spice but even that was a bit too hot for me (my fault not theirs). Bathroom is outside - basically a port-a-potty. User beware but overall clean (ish). Not really expecting Ritz Carlton level bathrooms at a location like this so it held up to my expectations given the area. What a hidden gem in Quartzsite!

Authentic experience Super delicious food--every single dish was top-notch and truly transported us to India! Favorites? The paratha, dal, rice... honestly, everything was bursting with flavor and made to perfection. The gajar halwa was so delicious, made fresh Our server, Balkarbhai, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the meal even more memorable. A must-visit spot for the best authentic Punjabi experience!

Yummy vegetarian dish. Husband got chicken.

I learned recently that most of the truck drivers in this area are Sikh. That means you can find some pretty awesome Indian food by these desert truck stops. This place is no exception. The food is excellent, the service very good. My only complaint is that we live so far away and won't be back until next year. One little caution: Indian food is SPICY! We asked them to recommend something a little milder. It was still a little spicy, but ooooh sooo gooood!

Great food. We were not sure what to expect but thali and chicken biryani was really good. Definitely try it out if you are driving into phoenix from La side.
