Kohl's - Luggage area at Kohl's - Department Stores Near Me - AKRON, Ohio

This location is chaotic and disorganized. The men's clothes are spread out all over the store in the most random and confusing areas. You'll find men's dress shirts next to boys active wear, which is next to girl's night time clothing. The whole store is one big cluster. Was impossible to find anything. This seems to be more common than not nowadays with Kohl's. Employees are not helpful whatsoever, they appear to be miserable, and come across as incompetent. No wonder why they're losing market shares to Amazon. Kohl's use to be the best place to shop. Now it feels like a Ross or Marshall's on a good day and like a Walmart on a bad day. After 15 years of being a diehard Kohl's customer you finally lost me for good. You've turned into a Kmart. Good luck with bankruptcy in 5 to 8 years. read more

Very clean environment. I had an Amazon & Kohl's return. Cashiers were all very friendly!

Today I went into the store to buy a belt for my dad. I will add that it was a Nike belt. I went to pay and was told to use my Kohl's Charge Card because I'd receive 30% off. This was appealing because I'd be able to save nearly $13. My card had lapsed so the cashier offered to fix that. After 20 minutes the card was not fixed and I was growing frustrated. Finally after 30 minutes waiting at the checkout counter the card was activated again, but the 30% was not taken off. A manager was called up and couldn't seem to fix this problem. I asked if I could just return the product and pay another way so that I'd at least be able to get rewards on my credit card. The manager made it seem like that was totally inconvenient for her, even though I just wasted 30 minutes to buy one item. We ventured back to customer service where the manager announced that we wouldn't have been able to get 30% off anyways because it was a premium item. So... I understand that there was maybe some miscommunication, it happens. I understand that a premium item can't get a discount. I'm not angry or upset about the money, I'm upset about the fact I wasted 30 minutes and none of the workers seemed to even care. The compensation I received was a Kohl's cash, which is given out when you spend $50 anyways and I was spending near that amount, and I received the 30% off. Again, I'm not upset about the money, I'm upset about the waste of time and the fact that this is a habitual thing. It's not the first time I've waited an astronomical amount of time for checkout. This 100% deters me from shopping there as I tend to not have that kind of disposable time. read more

A friend and I went to this location recently, 2975 S. Arlington Rd Akron OH. Personally speaking, I will not be returning. My friend and I noticed we were being profiled. We were being followed around the store during our whole shopping experience. Everywhere we turned an employee was moving in our direction, or stood in front of us as if they so happened to have to place items on the floor everywhere we walked. We felt discriminated against. I brought items from the store just for them to back off. I paid for my items, left and never looked back. (We are both African American women.) read more

Never in my life will I go back to this Kohl's. The entire store is an unorganized mess. It doesn't matter what department you're in all the hanger sizes do not match the clothing item size. Don't get to exited when you see the clothing rack full of clearance items. The entire rack is so unorganized and messy you can't sort through everything because it's so tangled. I tried on a dress to find foundation all over the neck area of the dress. Tried on a second dress to find a hole. Tried on a third dress to find out it was 3 sizes to big...oh the hanger said my size..darn. I would've gladly let an associate know about the damaged items, but there wasn't a single soul working the floor. The amount of time I wasted in this store simply because there's way to much merchandise on the floor, the merchandise is damaged, organized, and a total mess blows my mind. I will never, ever, never, ever, never, ever return to Kohl's on Arlington. read more

Wow I should have checked the reviews before going there. The store was clean which is the only reason I am giving it 2 stars. Went to check out and the casher should really consider changing jobs. She was rude, 0 customer service, and I felt like I was a huge bother to her because I was checking out. Her and another older woman argued with me which I in return walked out. The cashier yelled at me to come back and purchase the items and I kept walking. read more

The Yes to You Rewards are a discrimination against those that do not have the access or ability to use the internet. Tells me certain people are not of value to shop Kohl's. Their dollars spent are not rewarded. Also anyone without access to internet can not take customer service survey. Guess they dont care what everyones opinion is. If have the misfortune to be an employee you are discriminated against by not allowing the same privileges as a customer when doing your personal shopping. read more

This store is fantastic...I have always enjoyed shopping at this Kohls..the staff if so very helpful...anytime I need assistance they are ready and willing to help! When I check the clearance rack I check the inside of the item for size...I have seen customers throw things around...It's not the Kohls staff its the customers that create the mess! read more
