Today I went in there to pick up an online order and the girl couldn't find it. She looked and looked. Now this review is not about her but rather the manager. The manager very rudely came over to her and in a very rude way told her to "just go upfront." The manager looked for my order and found it. She shoved it at me in a rude manner also then went upfront and told the same employee, in the same rude way, "to go back to the register." Ok I realize neither of those statements are technically rude but if you heard how she said it, you would agree. I wish I knew her name but she was an older, dark haired woman and she needs some training on how to treat employees and customers.

She didn't say anything to my husband and then walked straight to the back of the store behind the double doors. Update about 30 minutes later: As I was walking toward the checkout with my cart (which we'd had since walking in), the same woman came up again and said, "Oh, now I see you have a cart!" She kept looking at me after she said that like she expected a response. What does that even mean? I was so confused I just stared at her and then kept walking. I even heard her trying to talk to my husband behind me, but he didn't realize she was speaking to him. We'll still keep shopping at Big Lots because we love the prices and have gone for years, but this experience upset me and left a bad taste in my mouth. That employee could've just asked if we were finding everything okay or needed help, instead she made unnecessary comments that felt unkind and inappropriate.
