The last time I shopped at Kohls, was probably 3 years ago, and now I understand why ...I understand department stores remodel, and services change. I've ordered plenty of stuff online, and did store pick up enough times to understand the process. Whoever the gentleman was that help me tried, but being polite as I tried to be held my thoughts back, until this review. I didn't apperciate being belittled, like I've never ordered and picked up something from the store before. The other associate, Megan, clearly needs to learn better retail customer service skills. There was a long line, for customer service, three amazon returns, I was waiting for my online store pick up, and it was a cluster disaster up there. Kohls, was a decent department store, until the pandemic hit. Now, their over priced, and even with coupons not worth it. From browsing around well I waited, only things worth while shoes and holiday/ home decor. Don't waste your time, shop online or somewhere else. The customer service at this location was aweful, unprofessional, and rude. Only positive were shoes fit and were comfortable. Won't be returning to any Kohls ever!!!! read more

This store has changed so much. First of all the store was a mess. Seemed so disorganized. Had a 30% off coupon so shopped for a few things. Found a sweater and a jacket and went to check out. Since they took out half their cash registers and only had them on one side we had to walk to the other end of the store. The line was so long and we had to wait quite a while. We get to the cash register and of course neither of the items were eligible for the coupons and we were told by the not very friendly cashier that we should have read the signs which we never saw due to the disorganization and we could go find other items that were included. Bought them as I was not going to wait in that line again. Kohls used to be one of my favorite stores but I think I will shop elsewhere as they no longer seem to care about their customers. read more

This is a large Kohl's, although I suppose they are all large. All the way up NFB by the Tops. I was here for a large sale and indeed the sale was very good. But I don't know this store well and found it sort of hard to navigate as a result. Easy parking. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have. read more

I usually do curbside pickup. However, I bought some items online and it didn't work out so I had to return. The service desk is right up front so I did not have to walk through the store. The line was not long for a Saturday which made for a quick and easy return transaction. read more

This is owned by the Coles, as in Nat King Kohl, his daughter Natalie Kohl, Paula Kohl, Ashley Kohl, Cheryl Kohl, and Kohl Trickell from Days Of Thunder (show me heaven!) in 1987. It's a big, clean store which is usually quiet. When they have a sale you can get some amazing deals. I've bought so many great things here over the years, Xmas presents and the like. It's also nice being one of the only guys in here with all the cute Amherst girls of all ages picking out wooly sweaters and giving me the eye, as if to say "would you like to buy this wooly sweater for me and then take my fake number and never see me again?" Well, no. But it's still a good store with decent prices especially during sales. read more

I have been a Kohls fan since the day it opened in our area. Last week I went in to purchase 4 shirts. They moved all the registers over to one side however the sign said check out, customer service on the other side. There was no one in line so we went to the register. Jennifer told us rudely that next time use the other registers. I did not feel like getting in an argument stating what the sign said there, but she was rather rude and more concerned about talking to her co-worker about Charlottes web. It just seems that customer service is a thing of the past, which is sad. read more

A good location with tons of stock. The clearance clothes for men area alone is like a separate department. The place was a bit messy on a Saturday, but it is the holiday shopping season. The restrooms were clean. The cashiers moved very fast so the line to pay moved really well. read more

I'm really not a fan of this location, even when I was younger and I would come here with my Mother, she always seemed to be disappointed walking out of this store. I've come here within the past couple of years and Kohl's itself just doesn't do anything for me. Everything kitchen, bath, and home related seem to be over priced - and if it has a sale, trust me when I say it isn't a sale. Their "sale" usually doesn't take any good amount off the price of the item and they get you with little gimmicks. I also tend to find their clothing sections laughable, who are you catering your sizes too? The only time I found a good deal was a few years back, I was able to find a vacuum reasonably priced on Black Friday. I waited in a line, that wrapped around the entire store, for two hours. This is one of the more organized Kohl's stores I've been to recently. They actually separate their clearance racks (by sizes) and they seem well stocked in everything. Overall a decent, typical Kohl's store. I got a shirt here for $3 and Crocs shoes for $25 and that was before my 20% off coupon! Also, they will honor your coupon should you happen to leave it at home. I love that. I had a 30% off and left it home, told them at the register, and they took the 30% off anyway. Yay! There's always a coupon to Kohl's so don't ever shop here without one... Men... I'm looking at you... The woman in your life will love you for asking about the coupons and saving money. Just do it. I just love Kohl's! This is the only department store that is bright, clean, modern, and so so happy. I've never had a conversation with an associate that was not pleasant. The people here are just plain nice and seem to genuinely enjoy/not hate their jobs. And their coupons and coupon policy- hello- AMAZING. You can use coupon on top of coupon on top of rewards, etc. There are hardly ever any exclusions. I swear sometimes I actually feel guilty about how little I pay for what I'm purchasing. Not really, but yeah. This store in particular could always use a little tidying up, but for the sheer volume of customers they see in a day who come bursting through the aisles and destroying fixtures and cluttering the fitting rooms... I'll give them a pass on neatness. (Being a clothing retail employee myself, I cannot judge a store based on tidiness alone. I understand that it is very difficult to keep things orderly when there are people flying around every which way and undoing everything.) Any time I've ever had an issue, a customer service rep has always been able to help me. I even got a personal call from the manager once to help me resolve an issue. That showed a lot of care for me as a customer and I really appreciated it. If you plan on shopping here, give yourself a lot of time. I always say that I'm going to make a "quick run" into Kohls and then maybe two hours later I finally make it back home. My record is five hours. I am not joking. I spent five full, glorious, child-free hours in this store alone. It was epic. I highly suggest you try it sometime. read more

Picked out a pair of Nike sneakers with a digital tag that said $60.00. When cashing out, they rung out as $79.99. The cashier (an older lady with brown hair) called over to the shoe department and was told that they are indeed $79.99. We went back and took a picture of the shoe with the digital tag and she still claimed that it was not the same shoe and became very rude in the process. Didn't call a manager over or anything to try and resolve our issue. We had several other items we were about to purchase and dropped them all and left the store. You lost over $200 in sales and two loyal customers who have a kohls card. Staff needs to be trained in customer service ASAP and Richard in the shoe department is falsely advertising prices. read more

I do not like this Kohls on the Blvd that is why I always go to the Hertel one. I went last night and I must have saw 10 workers at least and not 1 of them smiled or said hi. They are very rude and not friendly at this location. Instead they were all just standing around talking. 3 women in the clothes were all gabbing away and I was standing looking at them to ask a question and not one supposedly saw me because there were too busy talking so I walked away. I cashed out and no friendly greeting or anything! I won't be back here. You need to tell your workers to have better customer satisfaction! read more

Just did Black Friday at this Kohls, and was I ever impressed. The line was to the back of the store and I thought for sure I was going to be stuck waiting for more than an hour... I was surprised by how fast and well prepared this store was. I breezed through the line within 15mins. I was extremely happy with the service here. Good Job! Kohls cash was a nice bonus, the only thing I wish I knew was that I could have saved additional money with a coupon. The cashier didn't mention that. Live and learn. read more

Terrible CS! I purchased what turned out to be a knock-off plasmacar. They censored my review, so for posterity: https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1221684/plasmart-plasmacar.jsp This product is a pale rip-off version of the real thing available at TRU. Build quality is weak, made of lighter, cheaper plastic, wonky steering that needs constant retightening that will eventually strip the threads. The motion is uncalibrated and you will not get the speed or ease of reversal that you would on the legitimate version. The undercarriage is bordered by a sharpened plastic edge which led to my son's ankles and feet getting cuts and scrapes. Delivery was not as promised, with daily updated delays. Kohl's CS was non-existent. They lied to me stating that attempted deliveries were made but later recanted and contradicted themselves. I'm done with Kohl's. read more

My favorite Kohls in WNY. Had a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly. The associate on the floor couldn't find me another pair, so the Store Manager personally took over, found the jeans in their inventory at another store and arranged to have them put on hold so I could purchase them at their sister store in Lancaster. The manager Sue Sneck, thank you for not giving up and helping me get the perfect pair of jeans. Kudos to you. read more

This kohl's is on point with standards and expectations. This store is always clean and neat. Prices are amazing for a single father looking for back to school clothes for my 5 year old son. I returned a few items with no problem and received my money back in days on my card. They just like everyone else you to get a charge card but after one no thank you they drop it and never ask again. The cashier are always nice and friendly. Usually no lines and they have everything they say they do. If you need help just ask and they will literally walk you where you need to go and than help with selection. 5/5 for me and that's rare. Depending on the day...I love kohls. Recently, I made a purchase and was asked to apply for a store card at first I said no but then was given the incentive of 30% off...even if denied. I took the risk, got approved and then realized NO 30% off. Online customer service reps(two depts) couldn't help nor could anyone over the phone. I need to return to the store for a fix. I really hope they honor it. I have been quite sick and i don't get much time to run around to stores far from home. I don't understand why something in a system can't be fixed easily online. I received a $50 gift card for Kohl's. I ordered an XL men's OSU Hoodie. It came today and I was so excited! Just in time for tonight's Fiesta Bowl! I pulled the hoodie out from the bag and it looked really small. I tried it on, and of course it did not fit. Not even close. I checked the packing slip, XL. I checked to hanging tag, XL. I checked the label inside the hoodie....SMALL. So, I called Kohl's customer service, got nowhere. I went to their website and entered into a chat with another customer service rep, who agreed to send one of their reps to my home this week to pick up the order and send it back to the warehouse for processing. He advised me that after it was received at the warehouse, my gift card would be credited in 14-30 days and gave me a reference number. He then advised me to call customer service again and give them that reference number, which I did. The girl on the phone did not want to honor the chat rep's promise, so I asked for a supervisor. Once again, I explained the issue. He will be sending me a brand new gift card once my return is processed. He apologized for the total incompetence of the warehouse worker who messed up the order. I am not holding my breath that I will actually get a new gift card in the mail, but fingers crossed. I do know that I will never order from Kohl's again, nor step foot in their stores.
