This review is staff dependent. My partner got a suit at this location in spring 2025 and unfortunately, it was not fitted properly to him at all. Frankly, it was probably not even the right suit for him. Because of circumstances for us, we didn't get a chance to have me see the suit until two months before the event. At that point, we took the suit back to Men's Wearhouse and said this clearly doesn't fit the way it's supposed to. The manager, Nate, was phenomenal. He took us through all the options and ultimately was able to get this suit tailored to fit my partner correctly. The new management and staffing gave me significantly more confidence than the staff from the spring. I recommend going to this location and asking for Nate. Also, if you happen to be particularly tall, the custom suits have options that are in the same price point as the off the rack suits, and they're probably going to fit better. We learned that the hard way, but fortunately we were able to make the suit that we bought work. Not as fun as the Men's Wh*rehouse, but what is. I pretty much never dress like this, although the hottie wants me to - very much - still I've kept it rare. But when I do, it's good to have all the different options in one place. The only problem is that it's pretty expensive. The good: The manager on staff when I went seemed to be a skilled tailor and overall knew his stuff. He was very helpful. Clothing seems decent quality (looked at shirts and pants specifically). Prices are okay. The not so good: Seemed to not have nearly enough staff on duty. Long waiting times to get some assistance. Also was fewer selections than I would have liked. Overall: A decent place to get sized for shirt/pants sizing (free of course). Not a bad first stop when clothes shopping. Get your sizing done, and if you don't find what you need there, take your newfound sizing and shop at another store in the mall with more selections. read more

When we first went to pick out the tuxes for our wedding the girl that we worked with was very helpful at matching colors and picking out styles. Confirming our rentals and getting the tuxes was another story. They had my dad in a completely different color than I had picked for him, 2 of the groomsmen's pants didn't fit and my husband's pants and shoes didn't fit. You are also supposed to get a free suit or money to shop once the groom returns his tux. After the tux was returned we waited 2 weeks, he went in there and picked everything out only to be told he "wasn't in their system" he had to call corporate and was told they'll fix it on their end and give it a few days and you can purchase your things. We waited a week and went back in and again was told "you're not in our system". At that point the frustration just wasn't worth a suit. read more

Stopped in with my fiancé to get him fitted for a suit, and pick out suits for the groomsmen. We didn't have an appointment but were greeted and assisted right away. Lamar helped us the most but everyone in the store we interacted with were equally as professional and helpful. I felt like they all understood what we were looking for and we loved everything they recommended. Since we were buying suits (and renting the vests and ties) for the wedding party, they gave us a good deal too. Very pleased and looking forward to picking up the suits soon! read more

I would give this location and store a negative score if I could or even a zero. I had to settle for a one star review unfortunately. They have screwed up every purchase I've ever made. We registered here for our wedding to put the groomsmen in their suits. First off, they don't allow you to pick up or try on the finished suits until the week of the wedding. If alterations are needed, you're basically SOL. The dress shirt they sent me for the wedding was massive, I could have fit inside it with my best man at the same time. I complained, and they had a new shirt overnighted but that was also too large. What is the point of measuring me if you don't do anything with these measurements? I eventually wore the second shirt despite it being too large. Part of the allure here for registering my wedding with them was the fact that they give you a 400 dollar shopping spree if you rent a certain number of suits (I think it was 7, but cant be sure - we had a big wedding party and rented 10). I went back several weeks later to spend my shopping spree and noticed several things. First, 400 dollars doesn't get you very far at men's warehouse, I only walked away with one pair of pants and two shirts. Second, the selection they have for larger men, is verrrrry limited. They didn't have even two shirts I liked, so they measured me up again (this is when I should have known I was in trouble) and ordered them from the warehouse. I was able to find pants in house but they had to be shortened a little. I had to pay for the alterations even though I had plenty of money left on my spree, apparently that's the policy. Shipping took forever, or at least I think I did because no one called me to notify me the clothes came/were ready. I'm not sure they tailored the pants at all, they're still incredibly long to the point I'm almost walking on them. I have to take them to a secondary tailor now to have them correctly shortened. The shirts came in and I had a repeat of the wedding incident, they were MASSIVE. I had to complain on the phone twice, then in person once to have them returned. All I wanted was the right shirt, so I had them remeasure me (how many times do I need to be measured?) and send me the correct sizes. It's late February and I just received the shirts this weekend (the wedding was in September, I'm just getting these shirts now) and they're covered in some sort of black grease. I'm done, past done. The shirts were free, I'm calling it a wash and I'm not even going to try and return them. I'm sure whatever fresh hell they send me wouldn't be worth the hassle. For me, I'm done with this location and this store all together. They have proved beyond incompetent at every turn and I will never be back. I work in an office and wear business casual attire every day, there are much better places (with much more competent staff) you could go to get clothes. TL;DR - Go anywhere else on the planet for your men's apparel, this place is a disaster. They almost screwed up my wedding and have messed up every purchase I've ever made here. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. We have had nothing but problems and they keep adding up. Let's start with my fiance and I went to get him his outfit and set up what we wanted for the rest of the guys to wear. We're having a destination wedding so we are keeping it simple we just wanted the guys to buy pants from here. The lady that helped us was Nikki was horrible. She must have asked us our names and address about 5 to 6 times and each time she put it in her tablet. She was very distracted with her personal life and kept stepping away to take phone calls. We had said we wanted light gray pants and that we had a bigger guy and my fiance gave his weight and hieght. She assured us they had pants that would fit him. Lets say the groomsman went to the mens warehouse in Erie, PA and once he got there he was told they didnt have pants that would fit him. When he called us to tell us, I was very upset. Now we have a man in a different color pants. So Nikki didnt know what she was doing and sold us pants that they didnt make in all the sizes we needed. It doesn't stop there. My fiance is military so alot of the men in our wedding are all over the country. The best man lives in Maine and had to drive 3 hours to get to the closest mens warehouse. Once he got there, they were refusing to help him because this Nikki spelled his last name wrong. After we spelled them for her. Like seriously. He eventually faught hard enough to get them to sell him these pants. He got fitted. But since he lives far away he asked if they could send him his finished product. They agreed he gave his adress. You would think that would be it. BUT NO, he had gotten an email that the pants were in the store. So he called and inquired they said they ship to the store and then they send them out. The lady on the phone read his address to him and we thought all was fine. Well it wasn't. The pants got sent to an old address across his state. He then called this store again and they were trying to make him pay for another pair of pants and told him to messaure his jeans and they will alter the pants but hes responsable to get them hemmd....like what?! He had to get someone he knew that still worked across the state to get these pants from the wrong address. Oh and don't let me forget when we went 2 weeks later to get my fiances clothes they were altered all wrong and I refused to pay anymore money. The seamstress seemed confused on what happend. It was the same lady that pinned him. I have called and complained. They have done absolutely nothing for us to compensate for all of this trouble. I was told they would call me back and have heard nothing. I will never send anyone to this place every again! read more

My husband chose Men's Wearhouse for his and his groomsmen's suits for our wedding. The staff at this location is extremely difficult to work with and don't seem to be trained appropriately. Several of the groomsmen in our wedding had difficulties when the suits arrived. They were told to order sizes different than what they normally wear, which didn't work out. New items had to be ordered for pick up a day before the wedding. My husband's best man was supposed to get a new pair of pants, expected to come in on the morning of our wedding, which never came in. Men's Wearhouse is a good resource if you need some business clothing. They always run a sale and that's what you need to leverage. Otherwise the clothing will be overpriced. I do appreciate the quality of the clothing, but unless you catch a sale you're going to feel let down. Despite the prices I would say that the customer service makes the company. I recently received a few loyalty bucks I needed to use up. I tried to use them on the last day and had trouble. Sadly it was while Houston (their headquarters) was recovering from a severe flood. I called and was told about their situation. I called a month later and spoke with a nice guy who basically said they'd honor the credits, but I had to tell him exactly what I wanted while on the line with him. He helped suggest a few items and I was pleased. I wish you didn't need to work the constant sales as it can really bite you if you need a new pair of slacks, but this is a shirt sale week. Some of the in-store staff can come off as a bit snobbish as well. Room for improvement, but they do a decent job much of the time. It's consistent if you hope to get a deal, but know it may not be your week. read more

I was going in during closing, not knowing it was closing. I asked if they were still open. The guy there tells me in an inappropriate voice "go look at the door we are closing" . I am not happy about what happened when I went into the store. If you are in the boulevard mall you should go to other places like tuxedo junction, banana republic,JC penny's or Macy's. read more

Went in to do a tux fitting form my little brothers upcoming wedding. The employees were professional and gave me good guidance. I got what I needed and was in and out in a quick manor. Measurements were spot on the first time. I will be ordering other clothing from this store, I like their product selection. read more

I just want to start off by saying right when walking in we had a horrible experience. The young lady who approached us I told we had a 2:00 appointment, she asked if we were renting or buying. I said we will be renting a tux for our wedding, she pointed at the wall and said here are our rentals and then walked away to her chair. She then continued to stare at us from her chair while myself, my fiance and parents had a lot of questions.. (since we have never done this before) I then asked for help and she set down two suits on the table and said here and walked away to her chair yet again. Now we are extremely annoyed and I said loudly that no one here was helping us, while she was spinning around in her chair doing absolutely nothing. I said this lady is useless lets go to another store for our wedding where we might actually get some help for more than 2 seconds. Then who I believe is a manager jumped up right away and she was the greatest help and gave us a ton of option, colors, asked me questions about our wedding and colors and was just absolutely amazing. We went from about to walk out, to ordering all of our tuxedos for our wedding next year and spent almost an hour with her. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. The people working there were rude and totally ignored us. We were trying to get our son fitted for a tuxedo. Four people continued to work around us but never acknowledged us. Two of them made eye contact with both me and my wife. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have gone a long way but, no, nothing. The sad part about it is our daughter is getting married next year . . . we do know where we will NOT be getting the tuxes from. As we were leaving I told the man near the door that we were going to tuxedo junction because no one even acknowledged us. His response was "ok, thanks." read more

If I could give this store at the Boulevard Mall in Amherst, NY a zero, I would... I spent over $1,000 on a suit and a sport coat. The salesperson I bought it from was helpful and professional. However, my issue is with the person who took care of me when I picked up my merchandise after alterations. The suit pants were a bit long and he said that's the way you should wear them. Then the back of the suit jacket at the collar was rippled and his response was that it was fine and it couldn't be adjusted. That was bad enough, but then I put on the sport coat, which wasn't altered at all... just pressed. Well, now it gets really bad and unprofessional... the left shoulder had an indentation in it looking like it was missing some padding and the right shoulder was uneven. I don't know what they did when they pressed it, but it didn't look like that when I first tried it on prior to the purchase. The tailor marked it up and said she would put some more padding in to fill the void in the left shoulder and even out the right shoulder. Now comes the worst part...they had the audacity to try and charge me $24.00 to fix the shoulders on the sports coat. I was livid !!! I said, you can't be serious charging me to fix an item that came off your rack, obviously flawed. He smugly replied, that's our policy, it's an alteration. I said then I don't want it, please issue me a credit for the sports coat. This person was smug, condescending and unprofessional right from the start, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. This was my first and last time doing business with Men's Wearhouse. The worst customer service experience of my life. I told him that he just lost a customer and he needed to work on his customer service skills and be aware of how his actions effect that initial customer experience and future business. He lost potentially additional thousands of dollars of future business for $24.00. Just plain old bad business ! read more

Let's start off with I hate shopping, I went into men's warehouse with my wife to get a tux. As we were walking in I said I don't wanna be bugged by these people!! For my son's wedding, the choice was Men's Wearhouse .. from the initial measurements when we were treated as a Bother...to the final fitting when after I and my son both raised questions as to the loose fit in the waist of our tux pants ( we were assured by a totally disinterested employee that they would be fine that the adjusters on the sides of the pants would make them fit fine ) came the wedding day and all of the men had pants ( 5 in all ) didn't fit and couldn't be adjusted... when I returned the tux's the day after and voiced my displeasure to the older gentleman behind the counter he dismissed my complaint and remarked that it was problem , nothing they could do... I would stay clear of this location at the very least... should have used another business , I will never use any of the Mens Wearhouse locations for formal wear again... read more
