He told me he was going to be a while because he was dealing with a customer. No worries, I waited for him to be done. After waiting 45 minutes for him to finish with the customer, someone else came in and the salesman (Leonard Simon) told me that I had to wait because the person who came in was a "paying customer" and I wasn't. Very rude and disrespectful. Never coming in this place again.

The store was really nicely laid out and super clean. They had a decent amount of product including a large clearance section. We went when the whole store was 40% off and the clearance was an additional 50%. All of the salespeople were so incredibly kind. They helped us with the dressing rooms, signing up for their sales emails and giving us information about their clothing. When we went the store was empty except from us. The first visit I had a young lady helping me who was trying to help several other people but was also very interested in her phone at the same time. I don't have a reason to rent a tux very often and I wanted the sizing to be right so I would look sharp, but I was pretty nervous with the level of customer service. As I was checking out, one of the customers my rep was helping bailed from the store, stating "I need some attention to detail." I could relate, and mentioned it to a young man named Conner who was ringing me up. Conner stopped the transaction to understand what has transpired, and apologized for the situation. He asked me to come back the following evening when it was slower and said he would make sure everything was right. I did...and he did. It seems nearly every single measurement the first rep took was off. Some were way off, like I would have had extreme high water pants, for example. Conner also helped me understand the tux styles and make the right choice. The other rep was so confusing in this and I just went along with what she said was clearly the right pick. It wasn't. My point in all of this is Conner saved the day and the experience. The tux fit great. the price was competitive. Yes, I had to invest more time here but I knew Conner was going to go the extra mile...even though he didn't have to. He is one of those employees the companies should absolutely treasure and advance. You can tell he loves what he does and that he really cares about the customer. This experience has put Jos A Bank on my radar for other clothing needs and I will be back as long as I know I will see Conner's smiling face when I go there.

I originally stopped in just to drop off a big clothing donation... but I ended up staying to shop! A few days each month their prices drop an extra 50% off, and I scored 7 items for just $24. Most pieces I grabbed were $4, and a few were only $1 even with original store tags still on them! This store feels nothing like a typical thrift shop. It's clean, beautifully organized, and has a real boutique vibe. The staff and volunteers are the best. They are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help you find unique items. They even went into the back and tried to find me some off season items for a trip. There are spacious fitting rooms, size-inclusive racks (I saw sizes 2-24), and everything is clearly priced and sorted. There is no rummaging here. They specialize in women's clothing and accessories, but they also have smaller sections for men, kids, and shoes. Plus, there's a lovely gold/silver jewelry case and plenty of fun costume jewelry. I can't recommend this place enough--whether you want to donate, shop, or both. I've already told several friends and can't wait to come back with them (and bring more donations!).
