As a dad, the excitement to see another daughter find the perfect dress was paramount in our search. The first day of looing took us to two bridal shops. The first, was very nice, with extravagant gowns (and extravagant prices as I am paying for the dress). However, despite the variety of styles, none of the gowns made my daughter, a nurse, feel like the bride she dreamed of being nor the I one I imagined her getting married in. So, while there was one 'maybe' dress we left for our second appointment. As I was leaving the first shop, I was literally cornered by the owner as to why my daughter was not buying the one she "liked". I was a bit taken aback, and answered that it was because she did not "love" it. Feeling kind of annoyed, we headed to Darianna's where we were met with kind hello's and seated in a large room as Wendy began choosing dresses for my daughter to try on. She even let me add my pick to the selection and that made me happy. My daughter then began to try on each dress and on the last one she burst into tears, as did the rest of us, as she said those famous words "this is my dress". It is stunning and. I might add, it was the one I PICKED. So now with the gown, the crystal beaded veil and tiara, I was awestruck at how beautiful my little girl (25 yo) looked and how happy she was. Wendy then provided champagne to celebrate and broke the news of the total price, which was well within my budget. I can not say enough of how kind and patient Wendy and the entire staff were to my family. Wendy took her time and most of all did not try to force me to purchase the gown immediately. Although I placed a deposit, I was never under any pressure to do so. That fact, to me, is important, because I believe that to pressure a bride or her family into a dress she may not want can only add frustration to what is supposed to be one of the happiest days, thus far, of her life. Lastly, I was so impressed with Wendy I called the next day to thank her for such a pleasant experience. I am extremely detailed oriented, as is my daughter, and this Bridal Shop hit the mark on every level of product to service. Thank you to everyone at Darianna's for such a wonderful experience.

In my opinion, not so much, when every single member of the wedding party, including the Groom, and the father of the Groom had goof ups consisting of missing pieces and wrong sizing. Not to mention, when the suits arrived they called the Groom to let everyone know they could pick them up, not like the Groom doesn't have ten thousand other things to do the week of the wedding. Everyone was measured by the staff. Almost every shirt was mis-sized either way too big or too small, the Grooms shirt was outright missing. They did musical shirts and vests right up till Thursday when the wedding was Friday. If it weren't for a phenomenal wedding party being patient and running back and forth to the shop the groomsmen would not have been suited up. In the end the staff was friendly and apologetic and everything worked out but the stress it caused on the couple the week of the wedding was unnecessary. Fortunately our Bride was no Bridezilla and she politely smiled though the whole fiasco, but as for us we would not recommend The Men's and Boys Store for an important event simply for the reason that just because it worked out this time it may not in the future. I'm giving 3 stars because the Bride did not want me to go any lower than that and as a supporting MIL I will do as she requests.

Connie, who also happens to be the seamstress, was my consultant that day. She asked to see my inspiration photos and proceeded to pull dresses she thought might suit me from the racks. The overall vibe of the store, dress selections and fantastic customer service were quite impressive. It also smells HEAVENLY inside. It's obvious that they pride themselves on keeping it immaculate. Yesterday, I said yes to a dress I tried on at my first appointment. The owner John was so accommodating and squeezed me in with just one day's notice when I requested to come in and re-try my favorite dress. When I arrived, he greeted me with a big smile. I've been shopping here for years. Staff is great. They suggested I order online. I could have done this from home, I went in to try on and avoid the return cycle. Also this store is extremely hot! The staff and customers were struggling with the heat. Apparently the mall knows this. It's been a problem before. They have a mobile ac unit but it really doesn't cool the whole store. The two employees and myself were standing next to it to get some relief. This store always has dressing room fans but they didn't help today, just blew around hot air, I would have shopped longer to try on items had it not been so hot. The mall is legitimately dying out. There were so few people shopping . Poor HVAC is not going to encourage more people to shop instore.
