I had a very disappointing experience with Peaches Boutique. My daughter ordered a dress (Order #491838), and when it was returned, we were refunded only about 50% of the purchase price. This is concerning because their stated return policy mentions a 10% restocking fee, not a deduction of this size. In addition, the customer service experience was very poor. During communication, a representative called my daughter a liar, which is completely unprofessional. We do have a recorded call documenting this interaction. Overall, this experience raised serious concerns about both transparency and customer service. Went here recently to pick out my senior prom dress, I do not recommend. The staff is rude and unapproachable, none of them act as if they're happy to be there let alone happy to be apart of picking special dresses such as prom dresses. While I like my dress, I paid almost $900 and my dress was ripped. It came with two huge holes in the back that I now need to go get fixed. Their selection is ok, lots of the same stuff... This is my daughter's first experience with prom dress shopping. We were told about this boutique from a friend who said that they ensure that they won't sell the same dress in the same villa to another student at your school, preventing the "who wore it best" debates. The selection is INSANE! If you can't find it here, the dress doesn't exist. Short, long, beaded, satin, taffeta, sequins, flowers, etc. And they had dresses at all price points to fit every budget. Worst experience ever. I ordered a gown with custom measurements. The dress was not only 4 weeks late, but it was made to the wrong measurements. With only 2 weeks left until my event, they could only offer me an off the rack size which doesn't accommodate my bust. Alterations are fast but very low quality and the dress still does not fit right. $2k down the drain and now I have to take it to another tailor to try and salvage the situation as I now have less than a week to get it to work. Nope! Limited parking, first come first serve basis. Waited over an Hour to get a fitting room, then had to share mirror to view dress in full length. You can't take photos or videos or even be on your phone. Can only pick 3 dresses however, they will bring more to you. Very crowded and overwhelming. Excellent customer service and selection. They don't even have half of their dresses on the floor, which is nice because it can be overwhelming. Ordered my daughter's dress in January and it arrived earlier this week. They provided a list of places for alterations as we live over an hour away, and there are two recommended places near us. My daughter said she wishes she went there for a homecoming dress as the selection and service is outstanding. They just lost a $2000 sale for a Quinceanera dress. First time we went it was great even though it was busy and we were put on a time limit. Manager (male) was great. Other associate was kind and helpful getting my daughter into the dresses. We found "the one". Expensive but beautiful. My mother in law cried. She loved it so much she offered to buy it. That was two weeks ago. Today, she went back to try it one more time and discuss alterations before making the purchase (cash in hand!). The woman helping was rude. She reprimanded my daughter because she didn't know what a slip was. She would not answer my daughter's questions or help her. This should be a happy time for a 14 year old CHILD. She didn't even tie the back properly. My sister in law had to fix it for her. My mother in law is a soft spoken kind woman. Every question was met with a snippy answer, if an actual answer was received at all. The disrespect was unreal. Talk about just showing up to get a paycheck. We were also informed we could only rent the hoop that the girls try the dresses on with. She said it would be just like the one she was using -which was so difficult to get untied, that she had to get tweezers because she couldn't do it. Was she intending to come the day of the party to help, or were tweezers and instructions included with the rental? Horrible experience. We have a large family FULL of girls who can't wait for their quince! I would never recommend any family member or friend to come here. I would actually recommend they didn't come to avoid their daughters' special day be tainted.. amazing the difference poor employees can make. this is my honest opinion walking into this boutique was a little overwhelming because there's so many dresses to choose from and they all look very much customized. they do have many rules when it comes to this boutique like no phones out and only like 3 dresses at a time but the customer service was really good they helped zipped me up they helped with when deciding on a dress and they was always there willing to answer my questions. the dresses are not cheap they are pretty expensive and the fabric is very nice on the skin not sharp nor pointy feeling but this is not a cheap dress store. read more

I don't recommend buying from this company. Customer Service was not informative and it's a rip off. I paid $409.29 for a dress that was not accurately described and too big in the chest area. I immediately requested to return the dress to learn that they do not provide return shipping label and paid so I paid an additional $22.67 to return it. In total, I have now spent $431.96 to try on a dress for the company to only offer a return of $351.10. That means just for us to be on to try on this dress that did not properly fit for 1 day, it costed $80.80. read more

I read all of these reviews before my daughter and I went to Peaches, and to be honest, it made me nervous. However, we gave in and went to Peaches. There are a lot of rules, but after you've been there a while, you get it. It is organized chaos here, and they run a tight ship. There are so many girls (and plenty were bringing 5/6 family members with them), so I get the no cell phones and the fact that there are no chairs near the dressing rooms. It's a super busy place this time of year, and they need these rules in order to keep the chaos to a minimum. They do not sell more that one dress in one color to a school. So your daughter is guaranteed to be the only one wearing that dress in that color. They are very organized, so you can't fault them for that. Some of the dresses are pretty pricey...I spent more on a prom dress yesterday than my wedding dress. I will say, the girl that we were assigned, Patty, was AMAZING!! We couldn't be more satisfied with the service she gave and Patty even picked a dress that my daughter wound up picking as her prom dress. After 2 hours yesterday, we left very happy with our experience and purchase. While I respect others reviews, I'm glad I decided to find out for myself instead of relying on the negative reviews. I never saw anyone being rude to the customers, nor did I see anyone rushing anyone. Patty took her time, answered questions and gave suggestions. I called on a Tuesday to confirm they had the dress my daughter was interested in. The person who answered, confirmed they had the dress in 2 sizes and desired color. They had the dress also posted on their website and the sales person specifically stated that all dresses on the website reflect the stock in the store. She volunteered this information. Well, drove an hour and 40 minutes from another state and was told immediately upon arrival that they didn't carry the dress in store at all. It was a "mistake" that will be "looked into". I took my sister here to find a prom dress (spoiler before you keep reading - we found one she loved and looked gorgeous in). However, the experience is like no other - imagine toddlers and tiaras for high schoolers. First of all, they don't allow photos or videos even AFTER you purchase the dress. Which is a little frustrating considering none of the dresses are below $400. They also don't have mirrors in the dressing room to enforce this so they make you go outside the dressing room where the mirrors are in front of all the moms that are lined up like cattle to ooo and ahh. You take a number to wait for the dressing room and pick out 5 dresses to try on. You have a "stylist" during try on but ours was far from helpful. There is a woman calling out who's next on an intercom and rushing the women currently in the dressing rooms (you get 55 mins max in the dressing room). We were fortunate to find a dress while navigating this chaos but had to order it because the one in the store had a snag so we had to pay for shipping too. They do make you register your school to ensure no one else has the same dress as you. They also give a $5 T-shirt after you basically take out a small loan to buy a dress you'll wear one time. It wasn't the price that bothered me though, just the pretentiousness of the place and intentional pressure they put on you to make you feel like this is the most important day of your life and emphasis they place on appearance to make you feel insecure and that a dress will fix this. I took my daughter during summer to look for her homecoming dress since last year I waited too late and we had a hard time finding options. Looking for local shops, I found Peaches and almost didn't make the trek because of the negative reviews. I am so happy we gave it a try. My beautiful daughter is on the voluptuous curvy side and sometimes we find limited options. Not here though. The ladies were working diligently with everyone in the shop. I have never seen such a well-organized, efficient, helpful system like this. They were patient and my daughter ended up with 5 gorgeous options to choose from. My daughter was only able to try on 5 dresses - only ones that she specifically asked for - before they told her to pick and get out of the dressing room. Our salesperson was so rude and bored helping my 12 year old look for a party dress. First and foremost you aren't allowed to take any photos to document any items you might like. You also aren't given any pictures of the dresses you've tried to remember them if you want to go back for it. They said I was welcome to go to their website and look through 30,000 dresses if I want to find them. But don't try matching style numbers because they are different online than in the store. Could you make it any harder for your customer? Guess what Peaches... there are tons of stores like yours and they all have the same stuff. You aren't special. I easily found the dresses we liked at your shop at the next shop we went to and many more. The staff was so nice and made the experience fun for my daughter. We took pictures, THEY helped us pose. They were happy for us to have the reference and guess what I'll buy the exact same dress from them because of the CUSTOMER SERVICE! Nobody expected a tip either. Came to the store to purchase a backup dress for my daughters pageant. It's not prom season 3 customers in store with at least 10 associates working and we waited over 10 minutes before asking what's taking so long. Then we were told we're waiting on your sales associate. So we requested someone else. Then the person w a headset I heard her ask "she's finishing break?" So I said we're not waiting on someone to finish a break with all of you walking around us. Then they started looking on computers for the dress we requested now 15 minutes ago. All the while Julie Ann that seems to be in charge is answering us rudely. The experience was upsetting and when we wanted to see more dress they cut my daughter off to ask about price point.
