Came here after the holidays to try to find some bargains. They didn't have too much on sale even normal items, but I did shop around a bit. The store was laid out well. I did notice at the registers they had the regular registers to check out, no self-serve registers like other locations. I would like to give a shout out to Leah at the Sephora counter at this store. I won't go into specifics but there is a bit of a fluke with one of the perfume sampler boxes which you can only redeem at the Sephora in Kohls. I went to two other locations and was given all but a "Aww, that's too bad. Sorry, I guess" and to be honest I was pretty hot under the collar. I was in the area and decided to just stop in and see if I could plead my case. Without even a second thought, Leah went above and beyond to work her magic and I am so so grateful. Another epic fail of trying to buy something in this store. I think I have only purchased 1 item out of all the times I have been here. (And I ended up returning it because I saw it cheaper someplace else) Here's why this store always comes up short: They are always out of stock of my size dress and khaki pants; whether it's Dockers or some other good brand. Their sale signs are very misleading. I don't consider 50% off the tag price a sale if it's already $24.99 at TJ Maxx or Marshall. I don't know; maybe I have Kohl's in the wrong category but I think their prices should be in the same lineup as TJ Maxx or Marshall. Maybe I should put them in the league with Sears, a store with high priced stuff you can find cheaper in other stores, but 1 or 2 banana peel slips from permanently closing!! read more

Honestly, clothes-wise, Kohl's has some great bargains if you are armed with a 30% off coupon or some Kohl's cash while shopping in the clearance section (which most of the times looks like HELL). But to me, most of their stuff is WAY overpriced when it is retail. So...pretty much I would much rather shop in the mall for clothes. read more

Kohl's makes returns a breeze. I am a fan of companies with friendly return policy's. I buy a lot of baby shower gifts at this store. Really cute Baby Clothes and good prices (especially with coupons and Kohl's Credit Card). Check Out's near both entrances/exits. Well lit, clean dressing rooms. It was great for buying Children's clothing when my kids were very young. I don't use Kohl's these days for anything but Amazon returns.

To clarify: This may be the correct address, but it's goofy. This store is at I-270 and Olive. I've been to Kohl's many, many times. And I always come armed with a coupon and my Kohl's credit card. Sometimes the coupon is 20% off, sometimes it's 30% off. And I head for the sale areas. This is ONE store where my youngest son can find New Balance shoes for his 4E foot. And jeans, slacks, dress shirts, T-shirts and other apparel. I've purchased from most departments in this store. It's great for adult clothes, baby clothes, housewares, small appliances, linens, gloves and socks. I've not patronized the jewelry department. My most recent purchase was for hostess gifts, two from dinnerware and one from glassware. All my purchases were on sale. #1 was $9.99, a $15 savings #2 was $13.99, a $21 savings #3 was $20.99, a $9 savings With my Kohl's credit card discount and the 30% off coupon, I paid $22.42 and saved $69. I'm ringing that up as a sale. What I don't like about Kohl's Cash is: When I'm there, I get what I need. If I earn Kohl's Cash, I have nothing else to buy. I've let some Kohl's Cash lapse (It usually has a pretty quick expiration date -- like within a week.), but I have been "forced" to shop more to use the Kohl's Cash. And that usually ends up as buying something I don't really need or spending more money than I like . . . or both. read more

This was my go to Kohl's store! As with other Kohl's, finding help was a bit dodgy at times, but I usually knew what I wanted and where it was. The best times to go are when they have sales or specials where however much you spent they gave you the Kohl's cash card to use later. I racked up on those around the holidays. They didn't have a lot of big brand names but I got a great pair of Nike's there at a good price, some pyrex ware, and they were the only store I could regularly count on for polo shirts in tall size to fit hubs. Kohl's is deceptive. Online says an item is free shipping to store. The store clerks say shipping to the store is always free. So you go to place an order and even though the item says free shipping to store once you put it in your cart it says ships free with $75 purchase. That's deceptive. read more

I'm a huge fan of Kohl's. But then again, I've never been a 'name brand' kinda girl. Just give me something (relatively) cheap and comfortable to wear, and I'm set! Kohl's satisfies all those requirements. A large, clean, organized (even on a busy Saturday afternoon!) store, friendly employees, and more clothes, shoes, accessories, and bags than I can shake a stick at! Whether I need a cute dress for a party, spring clothes for everyday wear, running shorts, or business attire, Kohl's has it. Even their dressing rooms are pretty organized. I love the multiple posts in the dressing room, marked "gotta have it", "not sure", and "back on the rack". It makes it easier for me to organize the tons of clothes I bring with me to the dressing room. Hey, I'm easy to please, okay? So, yeah. 98% of my wardrobe comes from Kohl's, and I have absolutely no shame about it. And you know what? I've gotten a ton of compliments on the items I've picked up! That snazzy necklace in my profile picture? Kohl's, baby! And I paid less than 10 bucks for it. I spent 20 minutes in this store trying to find a dress that the online system said they had available. I couldn't find a single sales associate anywhere on the floor. Eventually, I CALLED the store while I was standing in the store to try to get some assistance. The associate was useless. She couldn't find the dress. I was tempted to order it online for store pickup, but after such an experience in the store, I don't want to give them a single cent of my money! Picture it: Kohls in Creve Coeur, shoe department about two weeks ago. The boyfriend and I are looking for shoes for him so he can wear a pair of shoes without his big toe making an appearance. He finds a pair of Adidas he likes but his size isn't there. We ask an employee who graciously consults his little electronic device to find they do not have the correct size in the Creve Coeur store. The employee offers to check another store and I am flabbergasted at the excellent customer service. I am told there is one pair in the correct size at the Bridgeton store so we thank him and are on our way. Ten minutes later we find out that store actually doesn't have the correct size. Mildly annoying but, hey, mistakes can happen. Fast forward to this past weekend: I stop in the Bridgeton store to see if by some miracle of the shoe gods some of the stock has been replenished. No such luck. So I call the Creve Coeur store myself and speak with a person in the shoe department who tells me they have that size in stock. Ten minutes later I find out ONCE AGAIN I have been screwed by their stupid electronic device. Hey Kohls! Your state of the art electronic tracking device DOESN'T WORK! I am beginning to wonder if maybe the employee was carrying around a remote control and just pretending it was an inventory device. Hell, now that I think about it, I am beginning to wonder if it was an actual employee. At any rate, I was screwed over twice by the same store. Good times. I then made a complaint online and the manager did contact me three days later (today) and apologize. That's nice and all but, honestly, shouldn't I have rec'd a little something (like a $10 gift card for instance) for my time and gas? Why do only the dickheads get things? If you are halfway nice about it, so many companies do nothing more than apologize. REAL customer service should take care of the customer; quite honestly, an apology means very little. read more

Kohl's is always a place to fall back on the find clothes, fashion jewelry, or a gift on the cheap. If you don't have a Kohl's card, don't shop here. The amount of discounts I get by having a Kohl's charge is the only reason I shop here. I have never walked out without getting at least 15% off my entire purchase. read more

Well there a department store so that says a lot. Aside from that they have a great selection of mens stuff, although i would say that its almost too much. When i look around it seems semi cluttered even though its not. Prices aren't too bad, lots of different things on sale. The kohl's cash is great! most of the time its $10 for every $50 you spend. Kohl's lies about their prices. Picked up a generic off-brand shirt that said $55 on the tag but the sign said $29. $29 still seems high for a generic no name shirt but I figured I'd try anyway. Went to checkout and it rang up $60. Showed her the photo and she's arguing with me, telling me that it says regular. I told her it says big and tall and this shirt is big and tall. She's squinting at the screen like she's never seen a phone before. I told her forget it and left. Awful store, even when you show them proof of the price they still argue with you. read more

I was here yesterday with my fiance and received the worst customer service I've ever had. The 2 associates who were up front at the registers stared at us with disgusted looks on their faces when we came up to check out. We were the only customers checking out at the time and the first woman would not talk to us, so we went to the other register. I took the pair I was looking for up to customer service to ask if they had them. She said that hey didn't have them at their store...that's it--no offer to look them up, order online, anything. I have been a Kohl's shopper since they opened this store. I do a lot of online shopping and also buy online, pickup in store. It seems to be hit or miss with the staff. One young woman in the customer service department never smiles at all, and there is an older woman in jewelry who acts like she doesn't want to help you. Kohl's always advertises that you can return something any time with or without a receipt. I attempted to return a top that had been in the back of my closet today. It still had the tags on, but I no longer had the receipt. The non-smiler informed me that the item was no longer in the system, so I could not return it. What? So not cool! The moral is always save your receipt, or maybe go to another location! read more
