For me, this was a fun place to shop when I was in college and I guess, in many ways, it still is. While they have aisles of overpriced, inferior-quality items, like cheaply-made clothing and jewelry, they still have cool pop culture items, like TV show and faux vintage rock t-shirts. There are still some good bargains in here, especially during clearance sales. Watch out for the clearance bins at the front of the store- I got a Homeland t-shirt for $2.99! Hot Topic does have the odd assortment of clothing made of rubber, corsets, baby doll dresses, and S & M attire that a fledgling dominatrix or porn star would probably drove over, but I just bypass that stuff.
