Went to kohls in Hendersonville because it's by my house. Me and my teenage son were shopping for gifts for my baby cousin. We were in the baby area when a white worker approached us and stated that we have been in the store for to long and we were scaring her. I was confused because we had just walked in 3 minutes ago. She proceeded to follow us around ignoring that there were other customers that actually needed her help. I've never in my life felt so uncomfortable it was weird. read more

Went into Kohl's in Hendersonville,Tn. today with the intent of spending an obsene amount of cash only to find merchandise on floor, shelves empty or near empty, and sizes so mixed up it was impossible to find anything. One (1) register open with a block long line waiting to check out.Only one elderly(grey-haired)lady at the one open register.I am 75 years old myself and have no intention of waiting in a long line to spend on something that has been piled in a pile on a table like a rummage sale or fire sale. I was there today with my wife and did little shopping so we went by jewelry to buy few presents so we looked at few things that were on sail and my wife asked the person that worked there named ANNA to see and the price and response was i don't know and she cannot know without going through them and was busy ! Horrible attitude and unprofessional ! I was in shock how can a person that works a place like that treats customers awful !! I will not be going back at all ! I am a huge clearance rack shopper and this Kohl's makes it extremely difficult while searching through the racks of clearance clothing. They do not separate their clothing by size which makes it extremely difficult and time consuming. I just gave up and left the store empty handed, which is unheard of for me while shopping at a Kohl's location. read more

Don't go here unless you want some old lady to tell you that you can't pay with a credit card. Also, she was soooo concerned about how I was paying that she didn't even finish her job. She left the security tags on the pants and made an excuse. Saying she didn't know those were on that brand. I said, yes they are on everything. Stay away from old lady cashier Jackie. Spend your money at JcPenny's, they have better deals! read more

To anyone thinking of taking advantage of the 30% off when signing up for a Kohls charge account. DON'T!! Once you sign up for the card they only give you 2 days to use it. It takes up to 3 weeks to get your card in the mail. You will need your card # to create a User Name and Password to your charge account. So in order to use your 30% off when you apply for a card you would only be able to do it in store. After talking with 2 managers I was told I could not talk to their boss, that this was the highest I could go. He did tell me that he had a boss, but I could not speak to them that it was not an option. So Kohls corporate doesn't want to speak to new customers to help resolve any issues. Is this how Kohl's (Hendersonville, TN) Kohl's Kohl's (Nashville, TN) treats all the new credit account customers? read more

On the ladder of department stores, this one is the bottom rung. This is not new, and I know what to expect when I visit. Cheap clothes, that don't wear well or last and a store that most of the time is in complete disarray. I travel a lot for work and if I ever forget something and need to pick up something I know I will only wear once or twice, I will stop in - you get what you pay for here. What you also get at the Hendersonville location is extremely pushy and almost hostile associates who push you into signing up for the Kohl's credit card when you check out. I stopped in the Hendersonville location in March to pick up a couple of pairs of cheap shorts for a vacation that I was taking. Upon checkout, I received the "Would you like to save 10% question" leading into the credit card offer. I politely declined. But this hoss of a woman would not take no - saying "Well what about 20%?" I again declined. Then she said smartly, "Well what exactly would it take 30%?" At that point, she had my attention and I explained to her that I did not need credit and that applying for random cards to save a few bucks, not only hurt your credit rating, but also was financially irresponsible. She stated "Only for a little while". At that point, my felt my face getting red. She again asked if I wanted to complete an application?!?! Are you kidding me? I know that the associates are probably spiffed on the number of approved applications they can get and perhaps there was a big bonus for her, but I don't appreciate being bullied and berated over something as stupid as a credit card. This is not customer service. I immediately stopped the transaction and told her that I had no intention of purchasing anything at this point. I told her that I did not appreciate her attitude or pit bull tactics. She actually looked shocked. She told me that I had to return the items, which I did before leaving the store. Khols surprised me. I was expecting ridiculous prices for crappy little items, but the prices were much better than Walmart, Kmart, penny's etc. I'm definitely a Khols gal now! Ps this place was great for Christmas shopping for my 5 girls. :-) read more
