I had not visited this location in a while, but a lot has changed. Prices are not like before, including the clearance section, which looks like a cleaning rag, and other items are very messy as well. One thing Customer Service has not changed at all it's still as bad as it can get. read more

As we entered Kohl's, we noticed that there weren't many customers in the store. That seemed strange. It is a department store for men, women, and children. The only area that had a lot of people was the checkout line. There was only one cashier around. The store was nearly empty. We checked out the Sephora area, but it was limited in products, so we left there. We wandered around the store, but there wasn't anything that caught our attention. There were no salespeople around either. We weren't too impressed with the quality or styles of clothing. This was a low value kind of store. Parking is convenient in a parking lot in front of the store with wheelchair accessiblability. I doubt we will be returning in the future. read more

Kohls 4999 Sheridan Street Hollywood, Fl 33021. 954-989-2282 April 8 2022 Thursday 2 pm Don't really care for this particular store because you can never find anyone to help you out. Management is running this store with a skeleton crew and honestly, people want to be helped. If this is the case there should be a bell you can ring to get help. I kind of feel like a needle in a haystack finding help. I came in because I needed to return an Amazon package and this was on the second floor not in the regular return part but toward the escalator area near the pillows. Amazon had two people working on returns. They printed a receipt for the returned item and also gave me a coupon for 5 dollars. I knew if I didn't use the coupon I would most likely throw it out or forget about it. So this was nice of Kohls to gift me but very smart because you will be spending more money on stuff. In the fitting room, not a chair to be found so if you want to take your shoes off and put some pants on, it's easier to do sitting down in my opinion. Maybe if I were a teenager this might be easier standing. The dressing room had clothes that should have been put in a rack to be returned back to the sales rack. I did find some things I could use but I really don't need extras being a minimalist. At the register, there were only two people working as slow as a slug. If you were in a hurry you can forget about that fast purchase. Sometimes if the line is too slow I just walk out but today I didn't. Bathrooms are upstairs by the return office. Parking is ample. worst return exchange policy ever! Nightmare of a manager named Kristina. Overpriced and under quality merchandise. Ordered an item online brought it to the store to exchange and had the worst experience ever. Apparently Kohl's does not exchange online orders in their store. Shop anywhere else but here. I really don't know who is still shopping at Kohls but this place was empty.. the racks are expensive and the return policy is horrible. If you don't have a receipt they will give you back whatever it's worth that day.. not what you purchased it for. I wouldn't return or shop here in the future. Came here to do an Amazon return. It is so convenient to just bring the item and have them scan the code on your phone. No packaging or labeling required. Then they give you a coupon toward any kohl's purchases. This is the second time I visit the store and I was returning a couple items for kohl's specifically. They got me with the coupon before. The experience for kohl's was not so great. They only had about two cashiers open. There was a huge line for check out and NO SOCIAL DISTANCING enforced. People were so frustrated they kept moving up, even though the line wasn't moving and we all ended up almost on top of each other I stepped on the side. By the time I got to be next, I was told that returns are actually on the second floor. Gasp! There were no clear signs for this. However, the staff was nice, the store looked clean and there was plenty of hand sanitizer around the store. If it weren't for that, the rating would be so much lower. My opinion, just use this as an Amazon return center. read more

Like any Kohl's this reviewed is based on the store itself. It's pretty stocked up compared to other Kohl's I've been to which look like they've been picked clean. The staff are friendly, helpful , no big issues with them. Overall, clean store, pretty organized, you don't have clothes strung out everywhere from people who are too lazy to put it back and instead ball it up because they were never shown how to fold a t shirt in the entire life. Again, it's Kohl's, you can get some pretty good deals, my advice though, never buy something from there unless it's on sale because if it isn't on sale today, it will be at some point. read more

I wasn't happy with this store even though I like the company in general. Actually I couldn't wait to leave. Safety is key & I didn't feel safe. This shopping plaza really has gone downhill throughout the years. It used to be the best! Finding one sales associate took forever & she was of no help whatsoever. I looked in the corner & found the long silver pole & used it to pull down my own items from the wall. Again in the accessories department, no help. When we did have someone come over, she was nice but had no knowledge of the merchandise in her very own department. The area by the elavator is sort of hidden and I don't think it's the safest area in the store. The shoe department had one bench. I was with my mom who uses a cane and she needed to sit down immediately. Finding the one bench was a struggle. They need to add more seating in the shoe department. On the day I was at this store, not one person was working in that department. I know because I asked an associate who was walking to their own department. On a Saturday of all days not to schedule someone to cover an entire department? Seriously? The Kohl's in Coconut Creek is so much nicer in so many ways. They also staff appropriately for weekends. I had a horrible experience, finding sales help was very frustrating and we didn't feel safe. Also no seats in the fitting rooms? What about older customers who need to sit down while they change? This location of Kohl's was not even in the same league as some of their other locations. read more

I was standing at the jewelry counter for quite a while, and there was this older woman named Maria, who basically walked by me 10 times without even acknowledging me. She repeated several times that she was ready to leave at 4pm and that she had not been given a break. I realize the holidays are a busy time but if you're going to work in retail, you really need to hire people that are friendly and at least say "hello" to customers or "I will be right with you" would be nice. I always enjoy shopping at Kohl's. No matter what you need, you can find here at a great price. It also helps that for every fifty dollars you spend, you ALWAYS get ten dollars cash back! That definitely goes a long way. In times like these especially during the holiday season shopping around for friends and family. After dinner with my family we decided to stop by. I'm so glad that we did! I had ten dollars Kohl's cash to use on top of the crazy good discounts that were going on for Black Friday. I came across some really nice earring sets and decided to get them. Upon being in the jewelry section, I was greeted by really friendly staff. Probabaly my favorite stores to shop in, and the coupons don't hurt either. Similar to other discount stores, but a much better layout, without half the merchadise being on the floor. You can tell the management style is very different from other discount store - seeing that the return policy is great and everything is kept very clean. This particular location can get busy at the check out line, but the management seems to deal with it well and adds extra cashiers when needed. Getting the kohl's credit card is the way to go, you'll get lots of extra deals, just make sure you're responsible with store cards ;) read more

No smiles, attitudes, lack of motivation and behaved as though we were inconveniencing them by being there. Would have got 5 stars but some of their clothes seem to be marked up. They have many sales here and good quality clothes but I do believe I see price changes in the wrong direction. They also have many checkout lanes but only two or most times one cashier working what's up with that? I work down the road so I come here usually during lunch break waiting on food from the many eaterys in this plaza. Not a fan!! Their return policy a pain in the rear. Upstairs to customer service - long lines and then another line downstairs at jewelry and then yet another line to make any purchase. I'm not a regular shopper here and will not becoming one. My time is worth more than and deal they offer. There something to be said about convenience for the consumer. Not too mention how they were handing incoming phone calls at the customer service desk. Just trying to activate my new Kohl's credit card proved to be a very frustrating experience. I entered the correct credit card number about 4 times, which was not accepted. I then went online to try and activate and after entering information on the form, it was not accepted even though the correct information was entered ! By this time, I was ready to cut up the card. I took a deep breath and called the store and was told that I needed to call another number during which I waited forever listening to Musak and ads for the store. I have NEVER had such an experience trying to activate a credit card. Finally, I spoke to another department and she activated the card in a minute !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was placed at the jewelry counter to check out, as the manager was expediting the time in line ( I thought that was nice ) I had 5 items.however when I got there the girl did not seem like she wanted to help me. She was talking to another employee about pictures on his phone- but I remained patient ( got what I wanted, good prices) When I got home one of my items was missing from the bag. I called and they said they had it in customer service- I went back ( as this was a gift I needed) and I saw the jewelry counter girl- So I said hey you left my shorts out? And she says no you left them here. So I said how could I , I didn't bag the items, she starts yelling at me as if she thinks she is the customer and I am in the wrong. I go upstairs, get my shorts, tell my story- no one cares. So frustrated with customer service in general , I go home. Wrapping my gifts now, I go to place the 2 shorts and top in the gift bag and... Can you guess it? The other pair of shorts has the security tag on it. I have to go back again. Going back and seeing the same jewelry counter girl I asked her , did I leave the tag on too? She calls the manager. As if I am going to cause her harm- boy oh boy , if people went to work and focused on their jobs maybe they could put 5 items in a bag properly. Done with this place. I was told by the store associate that they will price match any item on the store if I bring a print out with the lower price. I was getting Roventa Steamer and brought a print out with lower price from Williams Sonoma. The cashier seemed to be confused and called in the manager to help her out. Manager was completely rude and had no manners. He refused to honor their policy and did not match the price. I went home and ordered the steamer from Williams Sonoma half price. All their products are way overpriced and staff is not helpful as well as deliver wrong information. The manager is the worst and has no knowledge of how to run business. read more

I have been shopping here since they opened their doors... now I came here and may experience was very unfriendly and I felt as of I didn't count as a valued customer... I had a birthday gift card of $10.00 and a 20% off for the friends and family. I have been waiting all work week to pick up the Levi Jean's I wanted. Now here I go to pick the Jean's up with excitement and then I told the cashier Carlos I didn't get any amount off.. then they said sorry you can't get the discounts Levi's is not included.. WOW needless to say I wasn't happy at all. So Kohl's still has the Jean's. I know if these brands aren't inculded in the discounts. That should be said in the price OR in the place where they are in the stores location.
