Customer service representatives are supposed to be friendly, yet the lady I encountered tonight didn't have a very friendly vibe. I began explaining how I was online browsing for bed decor to match my bedding that I purchased there, and She cut me off in the middle of my explanation of my problem- Telling me to go to a kiosk to search for that because she doesn't handle that. I told her that I wasn't finished explaining my problem. I felt rushed. Anyway- Maybe that's her demeanor, but I didn't appreciate being cut off. My problem was that while browsing for those items, I came across the same comforter that I bought from the store. But this same comforter was online (with the same 50% discount) but it was $37.99, instead of 79.99. I had a screenshot on my phone that showed the price online. She told me prices always change online and that they do not match online prices. She said that if I wanted the price online honored, I should purchase it online and return the one I bought to the store.. The policy is fine. What is there to say? It is Kohls. They are a great store. Always clean. Always fashionable. Well organized store. I love buying my clothes there. One thing that annoys me is that the place is like shopping for a used car. You never pay the pricetag. It is always a mistery what the total would come to. They always have so many different percent discounts and promos that it is daunting to try to keep track of as you are calculating your purchase and staying on budget. The nice surprise of that is that you always are surprised at the discounts at the register. read more

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE! Do not order anything if you need it in a timely manner!!!! I ordered a Halloween costume for my daughter and it was scheduled to arrive no later than 10/27. On 10/31 contacted the company and they told me it was showing "still in transit" and to "call them back in a week if the item still wasn't delivered". I called Kohl's on 11/7 and was told once again, item in transit and call back in another week. I refused and asked to speak to his supervisor. I was told they would refund my $ in "a few days". However, I was sent a email by the company stating if I still haven't received the item by 11/14 contact Kohl's and they would work with me on a refund. I think it's safe to say I will not ever purchase anything from Kohl's. read more

While in Alabama I purchased a pair of Black Gloria Vanderbilt - Amanda Jeans in size 10 Long at Kohl's in Tuscaloosa. They had several pairs in each size & color. I was in a big hurry and got a pair, paid for them & left. I later couldn't believe I hadn't bought more since I normally have to order all of my pants because there aren't many stores that carry tall lengths. So I have started checking Kohl's stores close to me to see if they might have my size & found that the store in Greenville, TX was out. I live about 50 miles from both Greenville & Longview so I just now called the Longview store & they didn't have them, but I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to talk to the young lady who checked on this for me. She was very courteous & went to the display & checked for me. When she came back she explained that they didn't have my size but advised me to call back in a couple of days because she thought there would be a shipment in tomorrow. She told me she hoped I was able to find them & thanked me for being patient while she checked for me. I wish I had gotten her name but I didn't. I just wanted to say she was a real pleasure to work with!! read more

I was shopping, sampled numerous trial samples that were on display, there was one certain item on display I liked ,it was facial cream, when I decided to sample it there was no mirror at display so I walked around opp. side. after sampling products, i continued shopping till done. I checked out ,proceeded to go out door, alarm went off. no problem went back to register clerk , was shaken down. they found nothing! apology was given I accepted proceeded to exit again alarm sounded. I gave them full access to buggy and nothing was discovered, so I was cleared to leave. then lady rent a cop charged up to me accusing that I had something of hers also miss mallcop ask me in a hateful way! just what is wrong with you are you on something, also insulting my wardrobe,humilating me even more! I told her my son would be expecting me, she began taunting me, saying you are not going anywhere but jail and She was going home to her son. when officers arrived, I passed all sobriety tests given by officer before he let his rookie trainee practice humiliating me even more in the public eye. why didn't they observed surveilance tapes. read more
