It seems that Kohls no longer welcomes casual shoppers. They have removed the price checkers and was told I had to download their app. I go in this store a couple times a year and don't want their stupid app on my phone so, I will never waste my time going there again. They messsed my order for my delivery that came out of this store and then deducted the Kohls cash from the refund that she messed up at the service desk. I rarely return things and watched how the old blonde talks to customers and that would not fly at my old job that used to be dealing with the public. The customer service in this store has went Way down from 10-15 years ago. I was planning on buying a bunch of stuff but went somewhere else instead. A lot of this store sells their own brands at designer prices and can get much better stuff at TJX or stores in the mall area. I'll avoid Kohls for the future because it's not the first time service has been bad. read more

Pros: Not a zoo like Walmart. Cons: Sticker shock on the prices, but the prices are usually a bit lower than that. Also the fitting rooms are still CLOSED due to Covid or whatever, but I'm not dropping $100 on clothes just to find out they don't fit. read more

It's a typical Kohls in the sense that they are always having a sale, great selection in departments, and brands they carry. This Kohls has been remodeled so it looks a whole lot better than any other Kohls I've gone to. They have everything from clothes to home appliances. They even have a card and gift bag/ gift wrap section. Shopping with Kohls cash is always a plus. And Sign up for their rewards card and you'll get coupons you can use in top of sales and Kohls cash! read more

Kohls Mantua has one of the best Kohls Stores in South Jersey. Recently I had an issue with an item I had purchased and one of the managers fix it right away. All I know is his name was Dan and he was of a great help. Kudos to you Dan the manager. I always shop at Kohl's in Mantua. Never again. We've shopped in different Kohl's stores over many years and each time felt a strange sense of relief when we were done and back out in the parking lot. Today, they outdid themselves. Hubby urgently needed a new pair of shoes but didn't want cheapies from Wal-Mart or Shoe Show/Payless. Since he needed to stop in at Home Depot, anyhow, he figured that Kohl's might be worth checking out. (Kohl's has never been a destination for us, we'd stop in only if we happened to be in the area.) The shoe department was neat, organized, and well-stocked and it took about ten minutes, start to finish, to find and try on a pair that he liked. Then came the part we've always dreaded: checking out. It's rare to have it go smoothly, here. We were greeted warmly by a very pleasant young woman and things started out fine, but then the receipt wouldn't print out. The associate asked for help from the checker in the next lane, who made several suggestions. Presumably, the first transaction ended up being voided, (there was no receipt for that, either) so hubby had to get out his card and swipe it, again. Ordinarily, it wouldn't be a problem, but he'd just spent the better part of two days on our sun-drenched roof and in the hot attic, and up and down a ladder, replacing the attic ventilator fan, so his energy level was pretty low, and you could see him getting shorter, having to stand and wait for the problem to be resolved. If we hadn't already had an appointment in Voorhees, we'd never have chosen to run errands today, but once you get out of Salem County, you try to make the most of it. Anyhow, it turns out, their printer was out of paper. This is "working with printers 101". If It's not printing, first check the paper. At some point, a manager came over, but I wasn't really paying attention, anymore, due to thinking more about how to catch my husband if he did fall over. It was the manager who advised us that a receipt would take about five minutes to get (Say what? These are _real_ computers that they're using, aren't they, not just dressed up calculators?) After being assured that the second transaction went through, hubby just grabbed the bag and left without a receipt. The employees seemed more interested in getting us our "Kohl's Cash", which we've never used, and have never wanted. The store is an hour away from home; a small savings just doesn't make the trip worthwhile. We left it there. Still, compliments to the manager and employees for not getting rattled and especially for staying friendly and not getting snippy. We understand that "stuff happens" and it's usually not the fault of the employees (although in this case some additional training may be warranted) so we were trying to stay calm and appreciate that they did, too. I completely understand why brick and mortar stores are closing, and it's not entirely the fault of the "evil, greedy online stores". Local stores, in large part, are doing it to themselves. For example, there wasn't an associate in sight in the entire shoe department. Our next shoes will be ordered from zappos.com, with their free shipping and generous return policy. Kohl's is no longer on our radar. read more

I have never had issues at this store (that I remember) and I have shopped here for years including several different Black Fridays. This year I have had problem after problem with Kohl's in general but in particular, this store. My daughter and I bought close to $1000 worth of stuff from Kohl's.com and in this store on Thanksgiving Weekend. We went over to use our Kohl's cash later and spent time buying a bunch more stuff and after I paid I headed over to customer service to pick up ONE ITEM that mysteriously jumped out of my ship to home order that now said it was for pick-up at this location. Not what I asked for but no biggie since I was going to be there anyway. I waited in line at CS and when I got to the front, the girl told me there were only 2 bluebirds so I would need to jump in another line. No biggie, my daughter had finished and come over to join me so we were laughing and talking. I got to the front of the line and that girl said she couldn't help because of the bluebird situation and I would need to jump in another line (there were only 4 so two bluebirds meant this person HAD to be able to help me.). I got to the front and that girl turned to the first girl and said I thought YOU had a bluebird at the same time a supervisor exited the back. The girl without hesitating reached down from under her register (obviously ok with lying to me when the super wasn't around but not now.) Both my daughter and I just ratcheted up our annoyance and stepped back to her line but after roughly 25 minutes of jumping line to line. Finally the super finished with her customer and we moved to her line and she told us we needed to get at the back of the line because there were others waiting to pick up their orders. I said "I have been waiting close to a half hour while I was pushed from line to line for an order!" (I'm actually getting angry again as I write this). The super said, "well I have to wait on the ppl waiting in this line first." I said "forget it! I'll give this store a review and I no longer want the merchandise." And we walked out. I left the store and went to the parking lot and immediately gave feedback to what looks like the corporate website. No feedback, no apology, no response. Now I'm getting angry. It's Cheistmas and my time is valuable with everything I need to do and they don't even care enough to respond?!?! I waited a few days more and then sent ANOTHER email to the contact us link and made it clear that all I was looking for was an apology and holding the ppl responsible (mainly just the first girl responsible and retraining the others.). Still no answer. Since then, I refuse to shop at the store. My daughter said that she loves Kohl's cash (which I do too so I paid 30 more for an item than I would have paid at Amazon thanksgivin weekend) so she has made two more orders online since then. The first contained a puzzle where the box had not only been opened, each side had a piece ripped off of the cardboard in the shape of a shark bite. She was upset because she couldn't be sure all the pieces in the box plus, if she wanted to store the box that looks like it came from agarage sale, she would have gone to a garage sale. Her next order contained a large sign that was meant for her wedding. When she got it, it looked like it had sustained damage on one side (NOT the rustic sign look) and somebody grabbed a can of white paint which was not the exact color of white and touched it up. It ended up looking like somebody who isn't very talented painted it. When she called to make a complaint, they were quick to respond and send out a new one but the second item they told her just to throw away the bad one. If they are focusing on competeing with Amazon, THIS is not a good business model and they have made me a very leery customer. If I hear much more, I won't buy anything from Kohl's at all in the future. It will be a long time before I shop the Mantua store again. If ever. Edit: Thank you, Social Media Team, for a response. I wasn't looking for a money or a coupon. I was just looking for acknowledgment that I had been given bad customer service and an apology for wasting my time during the busy Christmas season. No response felt like I, as a customer, am not important at all. Please make the Mantua Manager aware of the issue with their store. Again, thank you. read more

This is a nice store to shop, very clean and always full., never a line. The only Kohl;s complaint I have is that all the discount % they give you need to use your Kohl's Charge. It would be nice to just pay cash and get the same discounts. read more

The worst EVER costumer service experience with " Kelly"! She was rude and condescending as soon as I approached the counter. The interaction got worse due to her constant eye rolling and over poor attitude WHILE laughing with the other costumer service person and being very argumentative ! I have never had this type of poor costumer service before at this Kohl's or any other store. I would suggest never have her interact with the costumers again or you will lose your good costumers quickly! Not worth the time or to be treated so poorly by a Costumer service representative who is the first point person for your store. read more
