I have recently been coming here and I am definitely a fan! In fact, I opened a LOFT MasterCard today which was simple and easy to apply for! I'm thrilled to have a card to not only be able to use on my clothes purchases but on other items as well. I'm so happy that LOFT actually has a plus size section, which is so nice for a slightly larger woman like myself. Fortunately, I'm on the skinny end of plus sizes, so pretty soon I'll have more options throughout the store. The sales are great, 40 and 50 percent off, which is great! They also have online specials too. I'm kind of amazed at the great prices in comparison to their competitors, which are much more expensive. I'm definitely going to be coming here more often. The women's clothing is feminine, modern with a fun flair, there are tasteful, lovely pieces that are flattering. I consider these pieces that I would love to have in my wardrobe for either social, casual or dressy occasions, the clothing seems very versatile. All of the salesgirls were very friendly and helpful, but I didn't feel pressured into buying anything, I always felt welcome to browse, which is very nice. I have so much respect for those in the retail industry, especially those who work at the Rittenhouse Square location. I walked into this LOFT location on November 6th, 2016 and was greeted at the door by a sales agent. The store itself is very organized and clean with everything neatly in place and three sales agent. I was helped by a respectable and happy black male who informed me I received a discount as we made small chitchat as he checked my clothes at the register. I prefer to be left alone when I shop so not having sales agent follow me and ask whether I need help every couple minutes was a blessing. If I need help, I'll seek one out. They have an impressive petite section above the store where I found a pair of tartan pants I've been on the hunt for and how it fit perfectly was a match made in Heaven. LOFT and Ann Taylor knows how to cater to their clientele of all body shapes in my personal opinion. I love walking out with stylish clothes that fit and doesn't need to be tailored! I'm 5'2 so having pants that doesn't need to be cuffed is a plus in my book. read more

This is not my kind of store. I normally shop at thrift & vintage shops. Call me crazy, but I just don't really dig the whole mass produced modern sweatshop thing. That being said, I was here for an event with City Fit Girls, and the fact that LOFT partners with such a great organization raises them up in my view. Also, I've been desperately needing a pencil skirt, & sometimes I have to shut down my morals & values for a moment & shop in a mainstream store that actually has multiple sizes of the same item. To the poor little girl in China who made 14 cents an hour to make my skirt, I thank you & I apologize. And now back to our regularly scheduled flea marketing. read more

This is a review of the Ann Taylor LOFT location in Liberty Place. (There is also an Ann Taylor - non loft - on Walnut street a few blocks down. LOFT is a the lower-end "casual" line put out by Ann Taylor - and for me it's better in the spring & summer than in the winter. Moderately priced "corporate casual" duds that are moderate quality. It's hit or miss for me - for whatever reason I do better at the "regular" (and higher priced - but not during a sale) Ann Taylor. read more

I love LOFT as they always have good options for work outfits and the clothing fits my body type pretty well. I went to this location for the first time this week and loved it so much I went back the next day. The sales associates are all extremely nice and very well versed. I appreciated their assistance and kindness in answering my questions. Sometimes sales people can be super annoying but I didn't think that was the case here at all. I actually felt welcomed and not as if people were just hounding me. I love the dressing room area. It's really nice and has great vibes to it. I hate how lots of places have crap dressing room areas and I appreciate that loft spent a little of their budget to make the area look as good as the rest of the store. This location inside the Liberty Place mall is clean and well organized and even has a Petite section. The sale area is well stocked and I recently found a phenomenal wash-and-wear silkish dress for $29 (the sale price ended up being even lower than the marked price when I got to the counter). On the other hand, the service is fairly atrocious. I once spent 20 minutes trying to flag down someone who worked there when I was looking for a new size for an item. Understandable if they are busy and understaffed but unfortunately, there were four associates who just kept pretending not to hear or see me. I've had a couple of similar experiences at this location and so hesitate to visit if I'm in a rut and need a little retail therapy - who needs rude service when looking for a pick me up? However, for reasonably priced work clothing this is a good find. read more

I like this store and the brand. Loft is one of those brands that you rarely will pay the full price. The fact that I keep coming back, tells that I find good deals and their clothes are good quality. They always have lots of discounts that range from 40% to 60% off the original/sale price. I prefer this location better as it's near other stores and restaurants near where I live. It seems to be always organized and has a much bigger space compared to the other one at the Liberty Place. Also, they have a nice and large selection of Petites. The sales associates are very nice. I remember other faces there which were a little nicer.However, I'm very familiar with the store and at the end I do my purchase and leave happy. read more

I love this store. I have a new found obsession for Loft and the clothes are seriously good quality and they're relatively cheap! Sometimes I find a dress that I absolutely must have, but the most expensive piece I've bought there was $60, and that was in fact a dress. The thing I like most about this particular Loft is the sales people aren't constantly bothering you. I was asked twice if I needed help and one of the ladies prepared a fitting room for me. But other than that, I was left to myself. I usually hunt around the clearance rack and guarenteed will always find good stuff. Stick around there!! read more

Wahoo! A brand new loft in Philly that's much bigger than the one at Liberty Place. This Loft is two floors and has such a large selection of clothing. Staff was super helpful but not-overbearing - the perfect balance. Dressing rooms are large and I needed a swap-out of some sizes when I was trying things on and the staff was happy to help. I am not a petite but I noticed the petites section is substantially larger than any other petites section I've ever seen at Loft. A heads up too, for those who don't frequent the Loft, WAIT FOR THE SALES. Their full priced merchandise is pricey but at least once a week they'll have an awesome sale (30% off everything in the store, 50% off sale items, etc... Like really good sales) so its worth waiting. And just in general, normally I go in, see something I like, and two weeks later I come back in and it's half the price of what it was before. It's worth signing up for their email so you know when all the good sales are. I love Loft and will certainly walk the extra few blocks to go to this nice and new one rather than the one at Liberty Place. read more

LOFT is one of my favorite brands, and I'm sad to say I just had an poor customer experience at the Rittenhouse location. I love LOFT because it's a good quality brand with tons of sales making it affordable. Most of my wardrobe for work is from here. Today I went to return an online purchase that I made on (7/20), therefore about 2 weeks over the 30 day return policy (today is 9/4). While this already seems short to me for their type of store, I was ok with this and expected store credit for the current price which is their policy. However, the woman who processed my return actually laughed when I pulled out the shorts I wanted to return, as if they were from years ago and said "I don't even remember when we were selling these," rolled her eyes and said "final sale" for each purchase. I checked my receipt and they were not final sale when I purchased them. She scanned my receipt and said they didn't even have record of my purchase - which again was only 6 weeks prior. I asked if there was anyway I could do an exchange because they were simply too big and she laughed again. There was no tag on the one pair of shorts and she clearly did not want to refund me for those, even though they had obviously not been worn and would have been too large for me. She did anyway. I was given store credit at current price and therefore lost $20 which I was OK with, I just couldn't believe how rude this salesperson was. Retail is a difficult industry and I understand this was towards the end of the day, but she made me feel so embarrassed and awkward for simply making a return that I doubt I'll go back. read more

Wonderful costumer service. I have a too from Loft that I bought in the summer. I got a bad stain on the top which I noticed yesterday. While in the city today I went in to this location looking for the top. They didn't have it but the girl who waited on me looked up the item numbers on my E-receipt from the purchase I made in the summer. We found the top online so I was able to order a new one. Two floors worth of fun, fashionable, and slightly affordable clothing. The staff aren't going to tackle you while you search for the perfect piece of clothing, but they will happily assist you if that's what you like. A wonderful balance of customer service and personal fulfillment. Before you get too attached to this store, be forewarned that its closing by October 2008..yucky recession. Thankfully, there are two other ATLs downtown (one in liberty and one in uni city). read more

Yes! Finally a good LOFT in walking distance!! LOFT is the only store that has clothes that both compliment and fit my body type, so I was stoked when I heard they were opening a new location, but was still uneasy because of the awful experiences at the Liberty Place store (small, never a variety of sizes, no shoes, rude salespeople, just all around awful). This LOFT has 2 floors and a very wide selection on pants, shoes, tops, dresses, accessories and friendly staff! Dressing rooms are big and the petite section actually has a large selection of clothes! I am so happy to have a new Loft, I was really tired of driving out to Plymouth Meeting. read more

Loft is a great place to shop for business casual clothing. I can pick something off the rack and know it'll be fashionable without being too short, low cut, etc. I've noticed the quality has gone down a little over the years even though the price has gone up. I have Loft pieces in my wardrobe that are 5 years old and still in great shape, but more recent items that seem to only last the season. The Center City store has great sales though. So, this takes the sting out a little bit. The store's staff is also very friendly and helpful. Returns, exchanges, whatever, I don't think I've ever had a negative customer service experience in the several years I've been shopping there. read more
