A large Kohl's with a really good selection of men, ladies and children , clothing , footwares , accessories and much more with plenty of discounted sales across the store . The Kohl's bucks coupons knock off more on the final total as well. The slip on sketchers were on sale , a few cargo pants , a belt, socks , a lite flannel jacket and it's a wrap .The most important thing about shopping at Kohl's is when they have store wide sales and you will save a bunch of money and the designer brands as well as the lesser known brands are always available. I ordered a blanket from Kohls online for $63.00. When the color was wrong and I wanted to return it, there was no way to get a return sticker without having a Kohl's account. After many tries at getting a person on the phone, I was told that the return policy does not pay for return shipping - so they would not generate a return sticker for me. Hate this store - ZERO customer service. You can't even write a review on google (probably due to Kohls making it impossible since all their reviews are so bad). STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! read more

Questionable Sales Practices Kohl is not true to their sales practices. We stopped by at this location to return an Amazon product. Since we were in the store, we decided to check their bed sheet. They had advertised that their product is on sale. If you buy one you get another one at half off. For any consumers, it is understood that your are paying a price on sale and when you purchase another it will be half the price of the sale amount. But this is not what Kohl's sales practices. Purchased a queen bed sheet set for $39.99 (sale price) and understanding that the second one will be half that price. But no, when they rang the two bedsheets both came to same exact amount of $39.99. Employees claim that the second one will be half off of the original price if $79.99. Not of the sale price. Now, does that make any sense at all when Kohl's posted on the floor to buy one and 1/2 off the second pair. It was also posted that these bedsheets are "supposedly " on sale at $39.99. DECEIVING dont you think? I find it to be Fraudulent sales practices. Never again will buy at this store. read more

Relatively good selection (too many cheap store brand products however), not many employees throughout the store (I counted two employees throughout the store during a 30 minute visit), which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you are like me and just want to browse and take your time finding stuff. You just walk into the fitting rooms. The store is poorly designed, as there is an entire basement floor that one would never know existed unless you go to the very back of the store and see the nondescript elevator or go to the bra section and see the escalators. I've been to this store three times and never knew that there was a basement with shoes and electronics and home goods. Retail seems to be a dying breed and the heyday of Kohls seems long gone, but I really appreciate being able to try on clothes at this store and not have to worry about returns online. Kohl's in Port Chester is OK. I admit I first turned up my nose at it. The shoes & clothing departments aren't very well-organized. I used to avoid Kohl's until I needed something and it was the only store open. My first time there was almost my last, as I struggled to locate items & there wasn't a single person who offered to help. I arrived at the cash register & the lady asked if she could sign me up in their system. She offered me a discount so I agreed. My email was bombarded with coupons. Meh. Why I changed my mind: It was Saturday night, I needed an item and Kohl's was open until 11pm. Let me say I'm no fan of the store's parking lot. Some of the cars look like they've been to a demolition derby. I parked & went in. This time they were having a BIG sale. I couldn't believe how cheap it was, so I loaded up my cart. I was so busy running through the aisles that I lost my shoe! I turned around and it was gone. Did someone steal it? A lady tapped me "this yours?" "Um, yes" I said embarrassed, taking the shoe from her hand, "thank you." "No problem," she said (eye roll) and walked off. I finished shopping & went to the register where I was offered another discount. When I looked down at the receipt I couldn't believe the price! It was more than 50% off! After that, I added Kohl's to my list of favorite stores. To summarize why I'm a fan: 1) When they have a sale, it's dirt cheap. Wait for the BIG sales 2) Careful shoppers can get great deals. Check out the Nike products & home goods. 3) Some of their designer collections are pretty decent, go before they run out of sizes 4) Very nice staff 5) The hours - Open until 10pm most nights & 11pm Fri & Sat. LOVE the late night hours. Why I almost gave it three stars 1) Needs better organization. Items should be easier to find. 2) Shoe section - it's really hard to find a pair in your size. Hate having to read every single box to make sure I have the correct shoe/color/size. Kohl's is Khol's - which means I won't normally shop there unless forced. As stated, I'm generally not a fan of Khol's. I just don't care for the stores, their stock, their design or anything about Khol's in general. I could count on one hand how many times I've been to a Khol's in my life. I was forced to come here since I was looking for quick sneakers and I was in the area already. I had went to other locations and this was my last resort before I drove off altogether. I did find said sneakers and they were decently priced, so Khol's actually contributed some convenience in my life for the first and probably last time. I honestly didn't walk the whole store as I have in the past at another location, so I can't comment on how bad or not any other section was. The shoes/sneaker section was ok - standard and nothing special. Some of the stock wasn't in the right location, so if you are in here and find a pair you like, it's may be luck of the draw actually finding your size or brand if at all. The staff was ok. Never been a big fan of Kohl's and my last visit confirmed why. Purchased a pair of Docker pants for $62 dollars for my son. After 3 weeks of looking at them, never worn, still have the tags on, he wants me to exchange them for a different style.can't find the recent and they can only give me a store credit of $14.00. Someone is making out on this poloicy and it's not the consumer! I told the person at customer service that I would donate the pants before handing them over for almost nothing to Kohl's. I am very annoyed with the unsatisfactory policy of not combining an online order for $32.65 picked up when I made another purchase in the store for $25.15 the same day totaling $57.80. The store touts its Kohl's cash of $10 for future purchases if the customer spends $50. I had a chat with a supervisor who said the system does not allow combined online and in-store purchases. Kohl's has no problem charging me for both purchases. The supervisor said she understood my objections. That does nothing to enhance good customer relations. Went here on a saturday night with my son to do some back to school shopping. All of the kids section racks were very cluddered and sizes and styles were scattered. Ended up having to ask a worker to search through the mess and find my sons size. Everything from this point was sort of ok till we entered the fitting room. My son hurried ahead of me into an open stall and quickly ran back out. There was a very vial smell and upon inspection, I found that there was a turd in the stall. Totally disgusting. Be careful. I had a bad experience on Kohl's website. Their advertisement is $10 off when you buy $50 more. And when I place the order, I got a link from email and let me fill in sth to get that $10. A month later, I found a charge in my bankstatement saying that it's membership fee I've signed with a company called freeshipping.com. If you don't take notice and give them a phone call, you'll be forever charged. And even I make the phone call, you'll still pay for $13 this month. See, I make $50 purchase and pay another $13 to $10 back which I only can use on kohl's. And if you want to use that $10, you have to pay shipping fee or buy more to get their minimun free shipping requirement. Besides, I've compared with Target with my Keurig coffee machine. The price is much higher here than Target even after all kinds of discount! I'll never visit Kohl's again! read more

I'm really not a fan of Kohls. I don't understand the great deals and bargains that people say they find at this store. The quality of the items that they sell tends to be low and the items are often overpriced. That being said, I have been to both the Yonkers location and this Port Chester location and the Yonkers location is much better in terms of overall appearance and stock. read more

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love kohls ! I literally decorate my home with ALL kohls products ... But I enjoy the Yonkers one a lot more then port Chester's . Today we visited Port Chester's my 12 y/o nephew really wanted this Sony PlayStation Gameset which rung up for $99.99 . I nicely asked if they price matched since I checked online Target had it for $71.99 ... First they said "yes with managers approval", I said perfect! Why would I go to target if I'm a kohls lover I thought ... Until the very rude Manager Moraima or Mor- something came and said absolutely not! They only match to their KOHLS ONLINE PRICES! but mind you I googled Khols Price Match Policy and it says Competitors In store Prices are matched ... But be careful ... Even if the online price matches the in store price in target they still won't match it because they require "paper ad's". I simply said , if you match kohls online to paper ads , and kohls in store to competitors in store why not to their online .. They had no explanation and said to just make my way to Target if I wanted it for $71.99! I literally just left all my items and will not be returning to kohls again . I also informed my mom and mother in law who happen to live literally in Kohls and told them about this unpleasant visit to kohls ..
