My recent visit to Kohl's Queen Creek during the 50% off clearance event left me disappointed. When I visited the self-checkout, the employee Angelica was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. When the clearance items rung up the incorrect price that was not shown on the tag, she argued and did not want to correct the price. After all the back and forth, we went to a register to get the proper assistance from Connie, Debbie, and Sheena. They were all so amazing and helpful with resolving the issues. Came in here for an Amazon return. That was about a 15 min wait as there were about 20 people in front of me. The gentleman helping me was very friendly and polite. Good experience. Disappointing Experience for a Long-Time Shopper (Saved by Connie & Debbie) I have been a long-time Kohl's shopper, but my recent visit during their clearance event--which advertised an additional 50% off the marked clearance price--was extremely frustrating. The extra 50% discount wasn't applying correctly at self-checkout. When I politely asked for assistance, the employee supervising the area, Angelica, gave me a visible attitude and repeatedly argued with me, insisting the marked price was already correct without even checking the promotion. To make matters worse, manager Nicole (or Nikki) was also involved and displayed the exact same bad attitude instead of helping to resolve the pricing error. After ringing up all my items, the hostility from both the employee and manager forced me to void the entire transaction and wait in a long checkout line just to get to a regular register. Thankfully, Connie and Debbie at the main registers completely turned things around. They stepped in, immediately applied the correct promotional pricing without hesitation, and handled everything with a warm, welcoming smile. The selection was a few cute items but mostly winter items. Connie, Debbie and Sheena deserve 5 stars for fantastic customer service! However, the visible attitude, wasted time, and lack of professionalism from Angelica and manager Nicole/Nikki were completely unacceptable--especially toward a loyal, long-time customer. Kohl's is so underrated! Kohl's department stores has a wide range of apparel for women, men, and kids, as well as home products. They offer competitive prices and a pleasant shopping experience. From clothing to home decor, Kohl's has something for everyone. I frequent the Gilbert location, but occasionally visit this Queen Creek location. Majority of my visit includes returning something I purchased from Amazon since they conveniently accept Amazon returns then using the coupon they provide to shop for something new. I've had nothing but good experiences here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Amazon return section is quick and efficient. The store is clean, well stocked, and fairly organized. A thank you to the store manager, Krista, for helping with a purchase today. She took the time to find a price after Chris (another helpful employee) tried to help me...but the item wasn't in the system for some reason. He was very kind to try and it took him a while....but he didn't give up easily. I appreciate that the number of sales associates is out of the hands of the store manager. It seems she works very hard to compensate for the obviously minimal staff. Because of the lack of sales associates (meaning help is almost non existant in my experience there) I don't shop at this store. I end up there when a family member buys something and needs to return via Amazon. That results in a discount coupon that I usually just give away. Today I had time and thought it would be fair to see if the shopping experience might be more pleasant than in the past. I give this location 4 of 5 stars as they always have what I need and the prices are great. Love the Kohl's cash! I recently was able to purchase some really nice dress clothes here for a job interview which looked great. Have you ever noticed though that every Kohl's store you walk into looks like a total hurricane just blew through? I used to wonder why until during this visit I overheard three employees talking about how they were hiding out so they didn't get looped into folding shirts. Great prices, great clothes, but as always expect to find first responders digging through the rubble looking for survivors. read more

Last month I purchased a Disney suitcase. We used it the first time last week and on a direct flight the bag got destroyed. I wasn't sure what can be done at this point or even if it was worth it to even try. I did and so glad i did. I'm not too familiar with the return policy. I went in with the luggage and explained what happened. The customer service cashier. Was very professional and knowledgeable. My item didn't have tags but we did have our kohls card so had to do some back tracking and was able to locate the item. We wanted an exchange but unfortunately it's a discontinued item. I can only guess it's because of the durability. She did however refund us. I honestly was giving up shopping at kohls. But this experience made me second think that decision. No hassle, no stress just an easy return experience. I went in stressed over them saying nothing we can do to having her apologetic that this happened to us. Great customer service experience . Worst customer service! I have a 25% coupon but after spending 30 minutes in the store trying on shoes in their unorganized shoe area where nothing is in the right order, I'm told "sorry, that coupon doesn't work with those shoes". Really? A normal human being would need a magnifying glass in order to read all the stipulations on your crappy coupon. I was shopping in Kohls and in a clearance section which included Christmas trees, and other items. Clearly in this section were 7 boxes of a collapsible wagon with no price tag, I called over an associate with a scanner to be told the regular price was $89.00. I asked what was the clearance price and she couldn't find it. She called over an asst. manager and she couldn't find the price but offered me 40% off. She then told me that my 30% off coupon offered to me on my kohls app couldn't be used on the wagon because kohls excludes certain items. In my opinion if offered a discount coupon it should be valid on any item in the store. Kohls has raised its prices 20-30% on all items even though inflation is not near that. I was so angry that I'll never set foot in kohls again. Especially since you can get the same or better items in other stores. read more

Purchase a lego character online pick up for my child. We brought it home open the bag and it was opened, ripped open with a note damaged product. The lady on the register did not make a mention or made any inclination it was damaged. I let them know on their feedback for there service on the email rating them Makes me reluctant to shop any further at that kohl's even for online pickup Update: I open the package and the lego guy head is stolen and missing. I'm sad. I've been a lifelong Kohls customer. The shopping experience has slowly deteriorated the past year or so. The men's clearance racks are not sorted by size. At all. I'm not going to dig to find my size. Online is way too easy. This is a good example of why eventually big box stand alone is going away.... The store was not zoned. Racks were a mess. The whole Kohl's cash thing is catchy but man, it's like the entire women's section was made for upper aged women only. I'm almost 33. I like to think I dress professionally both inside and outside of the workplace. To me dressing professionally does not mean dressing like an older lady or my mom but that's exactly what you're gonna get when shopping at Kohl's. Make sure you price check everything before you go to the counter. I had 2 items from different displays ring up incorrectly, went back to look at the pricing and the signs had very similar but different products (none of which were on the display.) The clerk offered me the % off of the items from the signage, but the pricing would still have been way off of what they were advertising on the displays. Given that it happened multiple times on the same trip, it's purposeful or just poor management/supervision. I understand that we are all understaffed and busy, and I try to absolutely take that into account. But incorrectly posting prices, and then not fixing it either physically on the displays or with the impacted customer is just bad business. read more

The buy online pick up in store is SUPER FAST! Every time I order something it is ready for me to pick up within 30 minutes. I love coming to this store. The associates are all nice and friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. read more

We have visited here a few times in the last couple years. every time it's more run down. we came last night for back to school shopping. Kohls always has good clearance deals, but that's about it. Always limited size selections on shoes, and about 50% of the shoes on the floor were very used, and still selling for the original price!! these shoes were way more than just ' tried on in store', black bottoms tell me they were worn at least a few days, then returned!! I have been shopping at Kohls for years, taking advantage of their jewelry clearance sales... but now they're doing away with their jewelry and making room for Sephora. Unfortunately I'm not a Sephora fan so I won't have any more reasons to shop here. Their main product lines are too expensive for a discount department store and other than their occasional Christmas sale finds, there's nothing for me here anymore. It almost feels like they're clinging to life and trying to avoid going out of business. I purchased Christmas gifts for my granddaughter. Unfortunately kids grow very fast and I didn't have the right sizes. I returned all the items with all the tags still on and a receipt. The refused to refund the purchase price. The girl claimed there's a return tax. What, never heard of this? I called Kohl's for an explanation and they said that they never heard of it either. But refused to credit the full amount. Would only give kohl's cash as a refund. Horrible customer service. I didn't use kohl's cash to purchase, why should I be stuck with kohl's cash that only goes to purchasing another item? Needless to say, I closed my credit card account immediately! My Wife and I purchased merchandise on the date of October 16th 2021, Saturday. We are from California & was visiting my mother whom lives in Florence Arizona because she is suffering a cancer battle. We checked the bags when we arrived home in California and saw that we had missing merchandise. We checked the receipt and saw we were charged for the merchandise. My wife called Kohls on Monday to advise that when purchasing the representative that rang us up only gave us three bags and over SIX items we purchased was not in these bags. The manager stated they would review the cameras and call her back with in 24 hours. This did not happen and my wife had to call them Wednesday 10/20/2021 to follow up and still no answer. My wife called back and spoke to the manager finally again today 10/21/2021 and the manager stated per her knowledge of the Camera footage that my wife received the merchandise. My wife asked them to share the camera footage becuase we know this not to be true at all and the manager was very rude and said no its Kohls property and you have to take my word for it. In short Kohls in Queen Creek, AZ should be looked at by the proper regulators. I believe they are possible running a racket of some sort. This is an industice and what sucks is the only way we can do anything now is to go to Queen Creek and file a small claims suite. However the trip would cost more than the lost money of about $200.00 and the store managers know this. If you see this happening to you at Kohl's please express it! Horrible experience. I've shopped here a ton, I went in and purchased $200 worth of clothes in Scottsdale and I forgot my coupon so they told me to come back and they would apply the coupon. What they didn't tell me is that it would cancel the Kohl's cash. I wouldn't have even gone back in but decided to use the kohl's cash I went to the location near my home and the manager admitted it was that stores fault but she refused to help me and told me to go back to Scottsdale. Needless to say this location ruined my good experiences with Kohl's and I won't be shopping here any more. Yesterday I picked up a dress, two shirts, and a pair of shoes all for $25. That's cheaper than most shirts are at certain female clothing store (and after you wash them once start to come apart!) There are so many racks to go through, and sometimes it takes awhile especially if you try your choices on. But soooo worth it when you go home knowing you have a few new outfits and you didn't even have to break the bank. read more

This Kohl's location is nice, always neat and clean. I love the sales, today I bought a shirt for 5.99 and another on sale for 9.99! Can't beat that. Upon arriving home I realized I have a coupon but no worries, you can always go back there and they will adjust your receipt. They also have extremely hassle free, no questions asked returns!! You can also not have your receipt without any problem. The only thing is, for me it's kind of hit or miss, I'm over 30 so I don't always find clothes here as a lot of it is very teen oriented or for the older woman.. there isn't really a sort of in between section.. But overall it's a nice store and when they have sales I'm sure anyone could find something. read more

Seasonal people that come here and think that they are the only ones on the planet are excellent at showing what totally terrible people they truly are! When a representative is helping another person, you DO NOT yell at them and DEMAND they show you where a stinking pair of gloves are. I waited my turn, so should YOU! It is rude to the representative, you treated her as an inferior being and guarantee she was far superior to you and your attitude. Well all I can say is that this location is closer to where we live. Since it's been opened, it's gone down hill drastically and by far it's the most un-organized, dirtest location in the East Valley. It's like they get all the others rejects and just thrown them hap hazardly on the shelves. All the items were outdated and nothing new to choose from in 2 to 3 different departments. There were no sales people on the floor at all. Prices we NOT easy to figure out. No selection to be had and it's getting worse and worse every time we go there. The carts are old, and always dirty and noone seems to care. This is a growing, family area that's expanding by the day. It's the only Kohls within miles and miles and it's a total embarrassment to the community !! read more
