I like Kohls. It's my favorite store to buy clothes and shoes. They sell high quality clothes by all standards. I like the clothes because they are comfortable as they last a long time. The best thing about Kohls are their prices, They have sales all the time. They mail you coupons in the mail every so often that are good for 15, 20 or 30 percent off their prices in the store. This includes everything in the store even clearance items. Kohls sells Skechers tennis shoes too. I usually wait till they send me 30 percent off coupon in the mail and then go shopping. I have been a Kohl's customer for many years. Recently I have order a glass platter for my sons wedding. I received the plate through UPS. The end of the platter was broken so I spoke with customer service and they sent me another one. It took another week to get here and upon receiving the 2nd platter, I open the very large box to find another platter that was shattered in a thousand pieces. I called kohl's customer service and their reply to the news was, " we can send you another one". I told them it's apparent that the shipping department needs work. I asked them for a refund. Who knows when I will receive the refund. I will not order dishes or breakables from Kohl's again. Kohl's need to up their game with packaging. read more

I waited in the parking lot for over 30 minutes. Closer to 45 minutes for a pick up order. NO ONE EVER CAME OUT so I left. I clicked the link a couple more times to make sure it went through. I kept getting the "Great, your order will be out soon" message and still nothing. Terrible. Waste of my time! Complete waste of my time. Why offer drive up order pick up if no one is going to respond or actually bring the orders out. Also, saw another car in the parking lot the first 10 minutes. They also drove off. I guess kohl's felt like wasting people's time today. read more

I tend to shop at Kohl's a lot and this location is pretty close to my house. I'm always in and out of there quickly and you can always find a good buy. However, I did have a bad experience this morning that dropped my rating of them down to 2 stars. I went around 10 am looking to spend my Kohl's cash (the $10 off coupon I had gotten for spending $50 a few weeks ago) and walked up to the registers at the front door. There were 3 girls standing around and no one in line so I politely stood where the line was supposed to start waiting to be noticed. And I waited... These girls were so wrapped in talking about some guy that was in the store that they didn't notice me. THEN another customer walked up (after I'd been standing there a good few minutes) and promptly was asked "Are you ready to check out?" I hate making a fuss but I was pretty annoyed at this point. I got behind the customer in line and placed my purchases on the counter as well and sighed loudly saying "OOOKKKK" I noticed that while this customer was being checked out, the cashier proceeded to finish the conversation with the other two girls. All of a sudden I heard (rather loudly and abruptly) one of the girls said "MA'AM!" I looked up and she's motioning at me with a finger to come over, instead of saying " I can help you over here." I was purchasing a shirt that came with a scarf. The scarf is attached to the shirt, so that much is pretty obvious. I noticed the girl was taking a long time to ring me up and I realized she was looking for the price tag of the scarf. Keep in mind, she could've just asked me if she didn't know. I told her it came with the shirt and her reply, "Oh" I know I'm probably a stickler for customer service, having worked in some form or another of it for the past 13 years. This situation should've went a lot differently. Will I keep going back to Kohl's? Yeah probably. I just won't expect to be treated with respect when I do. read more

I have never taken the time to write a review regarding a chain department store, but this time I must make an exception... Kohl's! Not only did it save me time, but money. We received a 30% off coupon in the mail and and saved a tremendous amount of money! Not only this, but you get "Kohl's Cash" back to spend on any merchandise in the store. I think this is an AWESOME concept! I literally walked out of the store with an free Keurig Coffee machine (valued over $100) with just Kohl's cash :) The more you shop, the more cash you receive at check out. The cash will expire, so you must keep a mental note of the dates of expiration. For value, you cannot beat this! I will be back again to redeem more things! Kohl's does not have every major brand (like at Macy's), but if you are frugal shopper, you will find some great deals here. read more

Please don't hang up on people. When asked to speak to a manager please let that call through. If you don't enjoy working at Kohls or helping people with simple questions consider another place of employment. You have a choice daily to be kind or rude. Always choose KIND Mr. Calvin. read more

Dirty parking lot upon arrival in the pouring rain. Not a welcoming situation at all. But I really needed to find a particular clothing item and I'd heard so many times that this store was a great place to try. Not at all. Maybe if you are buying candles, or bath items. I would like to believe that it's just this location. The high recommendation is from a friend in Atlanta so maybe they have a better Kohl's there. I wasted so much time looking in this place. It was such a disaster. Things weren't neat and falling off the hangers. There weren't even many people inside. Off I go empty handed. read more

I went to Kohl's to get a black skirt and they only had one in my size. That skirt was displayed on a manakin. I proceeded to ask the woman behind the Customer Service counter if she would take the skirt off of the manakin and let me try it on. She told me that she wouldn't take it off the manakin because it was the last one they had in the store. In other words, she would rather me take my business elsewhere than sell me that skirt. So I did and found a great skirt at Dillard's. read more

I visit this store once every two months, so not a lot. Invariably I will get assistance from cashiers because I don't have my Kohl's card eith me or I am not sure if the coupon discount I got in mail applies to my purchase. Literally every time I need help with something, I don't have a lot of disposable income and am just not much of a shopper I guess, so I always need help with something and they always help. However this time customer service really hit it out of the park. I just called and spoke to Tanisha Cole about something I now see on my receipt from two days ago that I did not purchase. I figured I would need to go there in person but just wanted to ask what steps I can take. She had me read off the date, time, register number and transaction number, then placed me on hold. Not too long later she was able to verify that item was indeed scanned in error and was able to refund it to my Kohl's card. I was worried that I was out of luck, I mean- how could I prove I didnt purchase this large ticket item? But Tanisha really saved the day, and didn't make me feel like she thought I was trying to "get away" with something to boot. Thank you! (Hoping I spelled name right!) read more

I woke up this morning and analyzed my day yesterday, and I remembered my the worst customer service I have EVER had at Kohl's. I googled Kohl's surveys and there was one that offers a 10% coupon for a completed survey. I decided I wanted to give a review for nothing in return. So here I am. Kohl's Southaven is one of my favorite stores to shop. It is very very close to my home and I have had several times where I have had emergency trips to Kohl's Southaven, when I have 10 minutes to get in and out. Well, Yesterday was one of those times. I found my items in 6 minutes. SCORE!!! Well, checkout was the equivalence of the refs recalling my hard earned score. There were 3 customer service reps/cashiers at checkout. One customer ahead of me, and two customers were checking out when I walked up. So, the lady that would be my cashier called, "Next!" I get to the counter and say with a smile, "Hello, how are you?" No answer. She then continues a conversation she and her colleagues were having. I only had 3 items, so she completes the ring up. She then asks, "Kohl's charge?" I said with a smile, "No, not today." She then hits a button and says nothing. I look down at the card scanner and see that it was time for me to scan my card. I scan and key in my info. She then gets the receipt and is now waiting on my kohls cash. She gets a phone call and has a couple of responses and hangs up. Her colleague thens asks who was calling and why. They all have a conversation all while she is printing my Kohl's cash. She then staples it to my receipt and sticks it out in my direction, without looking or saying anything. I am now looking for her name and her tag is turned around. I look at the other cashiers and their name tags are turned around as well. I then take my receipt and I walk out of the store. I was in a rush to make my 2:30 appt., and it was 2:15. I reviewed my receipt and there is no name or anything about who the person was that gave me my worst customer service EVER at Kohl's Southaven. read more
