The service was horrible. Don't bother going there if you need assistance with taking the tree to your vehicle because they won't help you. They were rude and arrogant. The frazier firs are only available precut and it took 2 days for the branches to drop. They must come from somewhere else and were harvested weeks ago. The place is junky, thousands of ornaments with a thick layer of dust on them. No price on the trees nor posted anywhere by tree type and height. So you don't know how much it costs until you have picked it and are at the register. Very high prices, $100+ for a tree you can get elsewhere for cheaper. Getting a Christmas tree is supposed to be a special experience . You will not get that at Kohl's Stony Hill Tree Farm in Milton, PA. read more

This place is a joke. we placed a tag on a tree and came back a few weeks later and someone else cut it down. So we found another tree that didn't have a tag. Well apparently, that's the end of the world. They tried charging me $450.00 for a Christmas tree and I asked to speak to the owner to clarify the confusion. The owner was arrogant, disrespectful and could care less. He threatened to call the police and have me arrested for theft if I didn't pay the $450.00. Real great Christmas spirit. The tree farm is trash. The store is great. It's a tail of two businesses with this place. Their shop is amazing. It has tons of ornaments, decorations...Everything you could possibly want. I did not notice many tree toppers but then again, with the massive amount of different things to see, its easy to miss things. I could have spent $300 easy if I had that much to blow. I came back a couple weeks later to pick up a wreath and a tree. So, we got here around 10 and the shop was closed. Being our first time going for a tree there, we didnt know quite what to do. One guy who appeared to work there showed us where to grab a saw and a cart to bring the tree back. He then vaguely pointed out where the kind of tree we wanted was. We did not see a map, receive a map, or were even given "street names" to follow despite their paths all having names like Rudolph Lane, etc. Mind you, this is a 13 acre tree farm. So, we tried to follow the guys directions as best we could, looking for Concolor Fir. We easily took the wrong turn and ended up walking a while and really only seeing Douglas Fir and Blue Spruce. We know this, because there were signs stating that certain sections contained those trees. We continued on and after walking around the entire area and not finding a sign for Concolor Firs, we called their phone number. Whoever answered directed us with street names and we found a few Concolors that were all very young/small. Ones that started to reach 5 feet were misshapen and simply ugly trees. Looking for a 6-7 foot tree, we simply never found one. We spoke to other customers who were coming back with a tree. We asked what kind it was. They said they didnt know, they just picked any tree. I cracked a joke about how lousy the vast majority of trees look and he said "well, there's 13 acres". Needless to say, if the trees up front, closest to the parking lot and store were this bad, we didnt see the point of walking 13 acres. So we returned the cart and saw, and got out of there. Unfortunately, having just moved to the area I am trying all new places. Thankfully, my uncle knows a much better place to get trees. So for decorations and ornaments, I would recommend this place to anyone, it gets an A+. When it comes to trees it gets an F for sure. Would return for the ornaments, but never get a tree. Hence my 3 star rating, if this was my first trip there and i never stepped foot inside their shop...It would definitely be a 1 star experience. No help to be found. No map. No rhyme or reason to anything...It's amazing to have two vastly different experiences from the same company. As for prices, I can't tell you how much the trees and wreaths are...But the ornaments and decorations are way overpriced. My guess is they think they're some legendary business so they overcharge. Comparing to stores in Nevada, New Jersey, or even Williamsport PA...Their prices are higher than all of the places I have been in those 3 states. read more

Wish I could give this business no star. Absolutely awful experience here! When checking in to get wrist bands which is inside the gift shop. The woman working did not want to get up and wait on us, and clearly did not want to explain anything about the maze. After we checked into the maze area they took our picture!?? No explanation why.... So they photograph children without consent. Then the nearly toothless woman working yells at your children with a megaphone if they are under 15 and more than three feet away from you playing on the equipment. There are SEVERAL 100% better mazes and hayrides to go to in the area. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My family will never be back. read more

Went to go get out christmas tree. No price tags on the trees. The guy was too lazy to shake it. The lady at the front desk was miserable. Get up to the register and the tree is $92.17!!! Holy crap! We got a tree that was definitely under 6 foot but was marked at six foot. All in all a terrible experience and we will never go again! read more

Although we had a great time while at Kohl's Stony Hill Tree Farm two years ago, we were super disappointed this year. Not only has the place gone way down hill, my children were treated horribly by workers - to the point of TEARS. When I stood up for my kids, I was also treated poorly. When asked to speak with a manager I was told rudely, "I'm not sure where he is - maybe mowing". We will never be back. read more

Very disappointing. You will go for a very long walk and every tree we looked at was half dead. They do not prune and so shapes are not what you would seek for your xmas tree. Quite simply a rip-off!! Bad experience from the poor parking area to everything else that followed. They are solely focused on the money and don't even pretend to try and offer a good experience for the kids. Staff were not particularly welcoming either. You have to pay $14.00 for a wristband that lets you walk through their corn maze and do some wooden interactive games at the top of the hill. Even if someone is not participating in the corn maze or the games, they STILL have to pay $14.00 for a wristband for the 'privilege' of being able to stay close to their kids when they do the maze or the games. Otherwise, the parent needs to stand outside the entrance gate as the staff in charge there won't even allow you to sit at the benches in full view of them. In these days, who is going to let their kids go off far from them among strangers and disappear into a corn maze or up a hill on a farm where they can't keep an eye on them? They don't tell you when you buy wristbands for their kids, they wait until you have walked all the way up the hill and then state you can't get in because you do not have a wristband. My wife who has asthma found the walk difficult and could have been saved the journey if we had been told. This is absolutely unacceptable! Safety doesn't seem to be a concept that Kohls understands nor cares about. Their attitude seems to be 'if you don't like it, you can leave'. It's just a total money making scam. The punch cards the kids use in the corn maze don't mean a thing. They don't get even a cheap trinket or toy for getting all the punches. Nothing Nada. Zip. The hayride was just ok but after the poor experience with the corn maze, we refused to give these con artists any more money and left. We were going to check out the Christmas shoppe but chose to go to somewhere much better for that. Poor show. I recommend that NO ONE goes to this farm with their kids. There are just too many better choices within reasonable travelling distance to let Kohls get away with this sham experience. We will NEVER be back and we will be telling anyone and everyone we know to go elsewhere too!! read more

We have always enjoyed coming here and I often bring other families or friends with me. However this year was the worst experience we've ever had and I don't think we will be back. We did the yard games and corn maze. At the start, an employee accused our kids of being in an area unsupervised and it was no one in our party. Later, we were almost finished with the corn maze when a staff member accused our kids of being spotted pulling out corn and being destructive and unsupervised. We explained that at no point were they out of our sight and it was no one in our party doing so. She did not even try to believe us and was incredibly rude saying we had to leave at once. We tried to explain again that there was no way it was us and that there were other children in the maze and we were not even in the area they supposedly saw us. She would not budge and insisted we leave the area and the game area. We talked directly with the owner and requested he apologized to our kids. They were so upset and scared because they had no idea what the did wrong, which was nothing. Never have I been treated so poorly somewhere. I understand it's difficult working with the public but to be accused of something that didn't happen and get kicked out because of it was beyond. My kids are still upset. read more

My wife and I live in Florida and we had to travel to Pennsylvania for family business. We decided to get a live tree to take back with us. After searching for tree farms in the area we decided to try Kohls and I am so glad we did. The selection of trees to cut for yourself was much more than we expected and it was great. More than that though was the service and personal care of everyone there. They made sure that the tree we picked was secured to our car for the long trip home and that it would be in good shape once we got there. They ran the tree through their bailing machine three times. The last time was with our cover around it to protect our car. Who does that?? If you want to feel taken care of this is the place. They also have an amazing store. read more
