So you don't know how much it costs until you have picked it and are at the register. Very high prices, $100+ for a tree you can get elsewhere for cheaper. Getting a Christmas tree is supposed to be a special experience . You will not get that at Kohl's Stony Hill Tree Farm in Milton, PA.

You give them your license and they provide you with a saw (I almost lost it last year). You can take a sled to make it easier to drag back to your car as well. Before Thanksgiving, it is by appointment and you can go pick out the tree you want before everyone else, then after Thanksgiving it is open everyday for you to go searching for trees! They have a tractor that will drop you off at some of the trees you want and pick you up, we didn't get picked up because we timed it wrong but that's okay. This place has a ton of trees and a lot of walking! They also have pre cut trees if you don't feel like cutting one down yourself. What I love about here is that they shake and bail the trees for you and if you need help they will carry it to your car- great service and super friendly staff. Some of the trees can be expensive compared to others but they do add some perks. You can pay cash or credit inside. Inside has tons of little knick knacks, tree stands, and free hot chocolate!! YAY, I definitely recommend buying a tree from here.

Easiest Christmas tree selection process we've ever had…read more.. We pulled up to the farm and found a bunch of beautiful, full, fresh cut trees of all sizes. We had the lot to ourselves before two other families showed up. We found our tree after looking for about 10 minutes (we actually found a few a we liked in that small span of time!) Their sign described what to do and listed Curt's number if we needed any assistance. Curt actually came down to assist another customer with a larger tree, seems like a very cool guy! He can wrap your tree if needed and also sell tree stands. Will definitely be back next year!

He helped us find the perfect tree quickly, wrapped and fastened it to the top of our car. We also needed a wreath and they made a beautiful one on the spot! I've never experienced such a smooth Christmas tree buying experience. These folks really know what they are doing and care about their customers. It was great fun!

Oh and make sure to sign up for their weekly updates for those homemade sundaes. They have a wonderful garden shop with a huge assortment of plants, shrubs, annuals and perennials.
