Came in with my two service dogs and no problems. The grilled cheese was good and I asked for a side of cottage cheese. The Pepsi was in a can, but I was given a glass with ice. Good stop for a light lunch of a sandwich and coffee. Large seating area and brightly lit. The roast beef wrap and coleslaw were both very good. The hubs had grilled cheese which got his stamp of approval. They do close the kitchen at 3:00, we barely made it, but the employee/barista didn't seem upset that we were cutting it close. read more

I have eaten here before. They have pretty good food. However, their service is lacking. I went in expecting a good lunch. The person managing the front counter was pouring a drink for someone. She never acknowledged I was there, even though she looked right at me. I waited a few minutes, then left. In the past when I was there they ran out of chicken for my salad. Hmmm. Better service and lowering prices a tad could help make this a great place to eat. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The service was horrible. We walked in and were greeted by, "What do you want?". We got a panini and one side was completely burnt and tasted like charcoal. When ordering I asked the lady at the register, "What does the lasagna soup taste like?", and she replied, "It tastes like lasagna!". When I got the soup, it literally tasted like they heated up a can of Chef Boyardee and put some mozzarella on top and put it in a bowl. When the server brought the food (the lady with short brown hair and glasses who was also the hostess), she dropped the plate in front of us as if we were animals, and didn't even look as us while she did it. This place is absolutely disgusting. The other day we walked by this place again and smelled a horrible burning smell coming out of it. We will never come back here. I'm usually the last to want to give a bad rating to anywhere, but I can't help it here. I went in around 4pm, didn't want to order anything except a cold sandwich, and they told me that they stopped cooking at 3pm so I couldn't order food. It wasn't even Sunday or anything. I've been to most restaurants in Mitchell and this is, to my knowledge, the only one that stops serving food anywhere near that early (besides Daylight Donuts, which is obvious). As it's located on Main street (where most non-bar businesses close between 5 and 7pm) I could understand if they stopped serving food around 5 and closed, but 3 seems pretty random. read more
