The clothes here is super adorable!!! I bought 2 things since it is a bit pricey for a little onesy, $36. But I figured I'll take cute pictures with my son when he is born! The service is not the greatest. I have worked in customer service for a very long time so I can understand both side. Showing respect to sales associate and treating them like how you want to be treated can go a long way. But just like some of the reviews, I saw what they saw too so i get it. Too bad since the clothes is super cute so it could be an easy 5 star store! I had asked the sales associate to help me find a certain pattern of the shirt and size and she did help me and after chatting of why I wanted it, she warmed up a little more which was nice. This place has GREAT items, but they sell themselves. I have been in this store two times in two different years and the customer service is just plain BAD. The first time I came in with my 3 year old and was watched like a hawk. Anything she touched we were scorned. She wasn't making a mess or damaging merchandise, just touching like kids do in a toy store. We left. This last trip we ended up buying over $100 worth of things! But never once did the teen behind the register ask if we needed help. We were in the dressing room (that we found ourself) trying on suits for a good 20 minutes and she never looked up to offer help or ask if we needed different sizes. Or even acknowledge our presence in the store. It was almost laughable at how much she didn't pay attention. If we were not honest people we could have worn the suits out and she would be non the wiser! The owner needs to step up their customer service game because this store is amazing and it needs to be visited! But if service doesn't improve I fear it won't be there the next time we visit... read more

Stopped in here to buy a birthday gift for my granddaughter. The clothes are simply adorable!!! However... the customer service is not the same unfortunately. The owner was on the phone with her accountant and could not take even a second to help us out. She actually pretended we were not even there until I brought a dress to the register to pay. She slowly, very slowly hung up with Mr. Accountant. So rude! Then, I had to come back to exchange the size and the first time the store was closed. Went again the next day and closed again!! The hours this day were 1-5:30 and she took a lunch break!! Crazy! There were 3 other buyers there waiting with us until she finally showed up. This was a new person behind the counter but just as rude. Won't even go into all of it. ... I got my exchange but won't be coming back. read more

I was in Kauai for my honeymoon and wandered into this cute shop. I saw some adorable mermaid dolls that I thought were cute for my nieces' upcoming birthdays. Unfortunately, I didn't check their hours and when I returned later they had already closed. Our flight left early the next morning so I was unable to buy the dolls. I couldn't stop thinking about how cute those dolls were so I did a little research and found their website. I emailed the owner, Juliana, who quickly responded and offered to send me pictures of the dolls she had in the store. She offered to mail the dolls to me and called for my payment information. She went above and beyond to ensure she had a happy customer. I'm beyond thankful and will gladly come visit her again on my next trip. Thank you so much! I've shopped in here several times. I've never had a pleasant experience - they have really cute things, which is the only reason I've gone back. The service is beyond awful. For people who work in a children's store, everyone that works there seems to really hate children. They follow you around to see what you're touching. My daughter is one and threw a shirt on the floor, not the best behavior but she's one and I was with her the entire time. You would have thought she lit the place on fire by their reaction. I immediately picked the item up and folded it back. Kids touch things, and it's a kids store. The staff is unhelpful and plain rude. Save your money and shop somewhere else. read more

Wish I could write a review about the merchandise, the service or the store as a whole, but I can only talk about how they were "out to lunch" two times in the same day that I was looking to buy some gifts for my kids. The first time I was there at 10:30 a.m. (on a Sunday; their posted hours were 10 - 5:30), and the little clock sign on the door said they'd "be back at 11:45". I waited till 11:55 and no one showed up. I figured I'd come back on my way back from the beach, which I did at 1:45. The same clock sign was in the door saying "be back at 2:45". I looked in the window, saw the salesperson inside, tapped on the glass and asked if i could shop because I had been there earlier and no one was there. Her reply? "I've been here since 9 and I have to go to lunch." Allrightee then... I get the whole "Hawaiian time" thing, but this was really frustrating. I'll never do business with these folks even if I'm fortunate enough to come back to this beautiful island. read more

Way too much cute stuff here! Me and my pocketbook are quite pleased that I don't have kids of my one, or I would have spent too much. Its more of a baby store than a kids store, though it does have clothing for big kids. The games, gifts and clothes seemed more infant and toddler geared. read more

I love this store! I always stop in to buy some cute outfits for my grandkids. A bit spendy yes but well worth it. The clothes last a long time. Many are handmade on Kauai or Maui. Which is just what I'm looking for to make it even more special. The sales gal, Joy, was so helpful & very nice. I know there have been some bad reviews posted in the past but I have not experienced any of those problems. They are always friendly to me & I've been coming for many years. I've purchased numerous items in this store, but after today, no more! I have never been treated so rudely. We were trying to find a size 5 t shirt and while searching thru the stack of shirts the sales lady came over and informed us we needed to re-fold all the t shirts when we were done. Considering we weren't unfolding the shirts to check out the size, I thought she was kidding. When I smiled and said I thought that was the sales clerks job, she rudely told me oh no, she didn't do that. Needless to say we walked out. This was after waiting for her late return from lunch. May have something to do with the vape pen she was sucking on as she entered the store. read more

There was a very rude male customer spouting politics bordering abusive to this poor woman and she held it together handled it very politely and remained professional. Stopped in after eating at Tropical Taco. Just thought I was gonna window shop. The store is small but very cute merchandise. I found bead necklaces with mermaid charms for $7 each, perfect for my daughters and niece as souvenirs. Clothing is a bit pricy. Hawaiian button shirts for boys are $24-30. Girls' dresses are from $30 and on. Worth taking a look at if you are nearby. read more

Love this place. I shop here every time I visit Kauai. A lot of the clothes are handmade with cute island themes. Not sure why there were any negative service reviews as it's always been a good experience for me. Don't miss up a cute store because of a couple of grumpy yelpers :-) read more
