I had to laugh when I just found the 1 review, but then another link that said unfavorable reviews. Funny to me they looked pretty favorable for the company owner to me. Anyway here is my own personal review. Now I try very hard not to judge and remain positive which is why most of us buy incense and rocks and crystals anyway right? Well Years ago before I moved I spent at least 1 day per week in this little shop. I loved it. The owner was very personable, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me and guiding me to the stones and crystals that would be suit my needs. I had moved out of the area about 7 years ago and moved back just this past year. However before I moved I had spent several years going in and out of Kokopelli's Gift House and could spend hours in the store each time no matter what. Over the years I had bought 3 singing bowls, Native American merchandise and tons of crystals and rocks. Never once had a bad experience. I had spent approximately 2-3,000 in that store before moving. I was so happy to hear they opened back up, I even wore a mask and gloves when I went into the store. Unlike the store owner or helper who wore nothing. One of the reasons I went back is after moving and packing up my stones and crystals, I lost several of the tags and couldn't identify several of my crystals anymore which all came from this shop. My main concern was on just 1 in particular since Phenakite and Petalite are so similar in many pics. However when I bought these 6 tiny clear little stones from her years ago, she marked them Phenakite, and I just re-wrote the name on a new tag since the old one was all aged and torn. Unfortunately a friend on a crystal and stone group on fb identified them as Petalite, not Phenakite. I know it is hard to try to identify things like this all the time on line, so I took them back to the shop where I purchased them; Kokopelli's Gift House. The woman working the store was extremely rude, never even acknowledged me, never smiled and seemed annoyed when I asked for help. I walked over to the counter with my bag, and pulled out the 1 small bag. The owner was sitting there about 4-6 feet away looked like she was labeling essential oil bottles or something. I was the only customer in the store, and was totally put off. The owner was nasty and rude wouldn't even get off her stool to look at my crystals. She said she has never had Phenakite nor Petalite in her shop, I explained to her she helped pick them out for me, and she nearly called me a liar. I thought ok, let me ask about a few of the other ones in my bag. Again she refused to stand up where I was at the counter, and her helper just stood there totally annoyed with me. I couldn't believe I shopped in there anyway and spent over 75.00. Funny, After awhile I forgot everything I put in my little basket and asked the helper if she would mind writing the names down for me. Well I overheard her tell the owner in a nasty tone of voice that "Well I have to write down the names of these stones for this lady" The owner said "Oh no you don't, it's up to the customer to know what they are getting. I should have put the basket on the counter, but I don't know of any other shop in the area that has this large of a selection. Well the helper wrote down just a few things for me. I know one thing. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and perhaps they were BOTH having a BAD DAY....maybe they didn't want to have to be back at work or something who knows, but don't take it out on your paying customers. I will never even consider going back here again, and have told the owner of the other shop I sometimes go too, but with much less inventory. Hmm, the other shop I go to, are very nice, they even write down the names and meanings of the stones and crystals you buy. I just wish they had a similar inventory that Kokopelli's does. Ok, sorry for such a long rant. Enter this shop at your own risk. If you don 't mind rude store owners or employees then I would recommend this shop for their large inventory. read more
