Peaceful Motorcycle-Friendly Getaway!…read more Booking through the Hipcamp app was super easy--I picked the exact campsite I wanted without any hassle. I was traveling by motorcycle and ended up arriving late at night, so I messaged the hosts ahead of time. They quickly let me know that late arrivals were no problem and that check-in was completely self-serve, which made things simple. Finding my spot was easy once I arrived. I stayed at Campsite #4, conveniently close to the parking area, which made unloading and reloading my bike a breeze. The little shack at the site was awesome! It even had a tarp you can unroll and secure over the doorway for a bit of privacy when you turn in for the night. The latrine was located near the check-in area, and the whole property had a calm, quiet vibe. There were other campers around, but it honestly felt like I had the place to myself. It's nothing like those packed chain campgrounds with big RVs and noisy crowds--this spot was peaceful, rustic, and relaxing. You can't beat the pride note, excellent value! I'll definitely be coming back for another stay on my next ride through the area!

Not many of the green variety but lots of orange and white ones. Prices seemed a little high ($8-9 for an average-sized one, $10-$14 for the large ones, $6-7 for smaller ones). They also had a nice selection of gourds ($1 each), and other decorative or pie pumpkins ($4). Not bad individually, but if you're looking to buy enough for a family or front yard display, it can add up quickly. We picked out 4 and paid $28. In addition to pumpkins, they had a variety of fall activities including a small corn maze, hay rides, and scavenger hunt ($4/ticket for each, I think). We don't have kids so I can't speak to it from that perspective. We went on a gray, drizzly Sunday afternoon so it wasn't very crowded. Appreciated that they require masks throughout the property, though out on the scavenger hunt trails people weren't always abiding.

The issue is that far too much of the furniture looks like it came out of local hotels. Gaudy, Mediterranean style. The demographic they seem to be aiming at is 70 years old and above. I'm 63 and their inventory still reminds me of a trip to grandma's house or the lobby of an assisted living facility. There is nothing remotely modern, tasteful or stylish. I'm sure their buyers know their customer's tastes, but their customer base has to be dying off or aging to a point where they have little need for new furniture. I think Chez Del would be wise to update the styles they offer. In fairness, the staff is professional and friendly but I don't envy them having to move this stuff.

Over the past two years, I've purchased a few fill in pieces for my bedroom, breakfast room, and even an entire living room of furniture at Chez Del's popular summer warehouse event. I've always known exactly what I wanted, having an interior design background myselfl, and been able to make decisions easily. However, it was the purchase of my family room furniture that had me baffeled for the first time. I just couldn't narrow my ideas and decide on the right style and layout. With the help of designer Becky Harrell, my furniture was delivered this week and I am thrilled. Becky worked with me over a year and a half. She was gracious to quote multiple pieces, let me check out umteen samples of fabric and finishes, and never made me feel as undesisive as I knew I was being. She knew I wanted quality and I wanted a great price and so steared me to take advantage of the Chez Del fall upholstery sale. Becky came to the house and measured the room to put it into their design software and show me exactly how the furniture would sit in the room. We thought through all the fabrics and finishes and ultimately decided on a look that fit me, my family and our personality. With tons of family showing up for Christmas, the Chez Del team kept a last minute delivery slot open for me, followed up with manufacturers, and made sure we had furniture for our company. The delivery guys (Keith and Joe) are top notch. I'm a little picky and they took extreme care to cover my floors and carefully placed the furniture; often making slight adjustments to my liking. At installation, Becky informed me that the manufacturer of my sofas had left off a decorative feature I had ordered. Chez Del hired their furniture upholstery person to add the decorative features and handled the issue before I even knew about it. It was done perfectly and without my having to stress about it. That is excellent customer service! Bottom line, the furniture business is a tough one these days as manufacturing has changed a great deal. It's not unusual for the retailer to have to answer to quality issues, delays in shipping expectations, and a whole array of customer satisfaction issues. And, retailers are doing all this at lower margins and more online competetors than ever. Chez Del, their personal touch and expertise, is a gem in this fast changing marketplace. I went into this Ace Hardware and I needed some special hardware for a fancy Walker for an elderly…read morewoman. The staff here is so amazing. I had two gentlemen helping me find all the pieces and parts that I needed in a hurry. I didn't think it was going to be possible to find what I needed to fix the walker at any hardware store. I thought I would have to order it online at the company and wait. I was pleasantly surprised with all the assistance and help that I got from these two gentlemen putting things together and figuring it out. I was able to fix the walker on the spot, Ace Hardware might be the cheapest place to buy things, but they definitely are more than willing to help and also carry special items that you can't find elsewhere. If I had gone to a regular giant hardware store, I never would've put this together myself. this is a great little homestore love it.
