I went into this Ace Hardware and I needed some special hardware for a fancy Walker for an elderly woman. The staff here is so amazing. I had two gentlemen helping me find all the pieces and parts that I needed in a hurry. I didn't think it was going to be possible to find what I needed to fix the walker at any hardware store. I thought I would have to order it online at the company and wait. I was pleasantly surprised with all the assistance and help that I got from these two gentlemen putting things together and figuring it out. I was able to fix the walker on the spot, Ace Hardware might be the cheapest place to buy things, but they definitely are more than willing to help and also carry special items that you can't find elsewhere. If I had gone to a regular giant hardware store, I never would've put this together myself. this is a great little homestore love it. read more

I try not to shop at big box hardware stores so when I found this place at first I was excited. It was a large store with a large selection. But my experience shopping there has been disappointing. In a few days I spent over $600 there on various items, but ended up having to return most of them. The salesperson I spoke to pretended knowledge of several items, but when I got home, I discovered he had no idea what he was talking about and actually recommended I buy the wrong things, so I had to go back and exchange them. At least the one young lady I talked to at the store was very honest with me when she didn't know the answer to a particular question of mine, and found someone who did. Then I bought a trimmer from them already assembled, and when I got it home it started spraying gas all over and wouldn't start. When I returned the trimmer the first person I talked to identified the problem as being the fuel line was not properly installed, and then tried to convince me I shouldn't return the item. I really wanted to like the place but I can't afford the time it costs me to shop there. read more

I've been coming to this Ace for 17 years. Their knowledge and experience is way beyond what you'll get at one of the big box stores and the service has been outstanding. We go in on a Saturday and try to make it into the aisle before an associate asks us what we're looking for. We haven't made it yet. They've helped me come up with countless solutions to plumbing, electrical, hardware and general home repair. I'll be shopping at this Ace for as long as I own this house. read more

This place is great-you walk in and someone actually addresses you and asks if you need help. They are knowledgeable and help you find what you are looking for. I will be giving them my business over Lowes or HD who could care less you walk in the door. read more

This used to be our favorite stop for hardware, but not anymore. A manager (young man, seemed inexperienced) wouldn't let us return stain that we bought and was mixed incorrectly. The color was way off and we didn't realize it was mixed incorrectly until we tested it at home. He kept blaming us for the issue when the store was at fault. He didn't even offer a store credit, we lost about $40! Most other stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Sherwin Williams) have no-questions-asked return policies even on paint/stain. Maybe this store needs to evaluate their stubborn manager. I'm telling others to go elsewhere as well. read more

I am taking my business elsewhere. The manager is very rude. Does not know how to Interact appropriately with customers. He seems to think the customer is wrong and will tell you so in front everyone. Poor manager skills! read more
