I love supporting family run businesses, but unfortunately, this location has been dishonest. I received a 25% off coupon for dry cleaning which they did not accept for alterations which of course I understood. I then received another coupon 25% off for any service. I did alterations and came in to use my coupon and they said they won't accept their own coupon because I didn't click a button before I dropped my clothes off. After a while, they said they would apply it to my account, but then said they can't take the coupon because it's for dry cleaning only, even though I showed them the coupon said it was for any service. I don't appreciate the dishonesty and I would rather support a family owned company that adheres to their promises. read more

I will actually be calling the Better Buisness Bureau regarding this company; that's how upset I am and how bad the service is. I went in last Wednesday (July 10, 2019) and dropped off 24 items (10 pairs of pants, 14 shirts). Yes I counted them infront if the lady taking my items because in the past I have had problem with other cleaners losing my items. I got my receipt (which reflected 24 items, I will try and update this post later with pictures). I came back on Friday (July 12, 2019) to find that I was only being given 21 items. I let the lady see my receipt (she claims to be the manager, although not the main mangers/owner). I was missing two pairs of pants (one tan one black, and one shirt). She asked me if I could come back later that day after she tried to speak with the other manager to see what might have happened. I did so, at a huge inconvience to me. I came back later that day and unfortunately the manager that I had been speaking to was no longer there, so I was further inconvenienced and asked to come back the next day. I did so. When I came back the next day the manager that I spoke to was there again, and asked me for the brand names and sizes of all of the items that were missing. Sizes aren't an issue. That's fine. But really, I am supposed to remember the brand names of all mine and my husbands clothing? You're joking, right? At this point I was utterly frustrated and asked if I could speak to whoever the actual manager was or the owner of the store. I was told the actual manager does not come in frequently and I was given a card. Furthermore I was told that they would be looking into the footage from the day I dropped my clothes off and checking their warehouse and that they would be contacting me within 3 days. Because the items that they had lost where my husband's work clothes, they were rather expensive. These three items proximately total up to over $120 worth of work clothes. I let the manager know this, and let her know that if they could not find my items, I felt that it was only fair that they give me some kind of reimbursement, which is quite standard. She said that they would indeed do this for me. NOPE. I did up calling back today to check on the progress, and was told that I would be given a callback. When I was I spoke to the initial manager, the one whom most of my communication happened, and she let me know that they would not be giving me any type of reimbursement because they checked their warehouse and they checked the tapes and they found that the taste reflected me only giving 21 items. Again I counted the items in front of the person taking my items when I initially dropped everything off. I counted 24 items and my receipt reflects that they receive 24 items. This company has literally stolen my money at this point and I am not going to let them get away with this. read more

I forgot to leave a review but I was just thinking about how two weeks ago I had a funeral to attend but my husband forgot to take his suit to our cleaners. I had to rush over ,but my cleaners couldn't get it to me on time. I came across Kona cleaners in yorba Linda and the nice young lady I think her name was Hannah she is the store leader, was very helpful she was able to help me get my suit the next day and walked me through the process. She also told me about the cool app to pick up my dry cleaning before I even get there! I have a general distrust of dry cleaners. Dropping off a garment at the counter can be like saying a final farewell: " I knew you when..." My hope is always that my return will be to a perfectly cleaned and pressed garment that looks like it did when I brought it in (sans the stains) or that I'll see the garment again at all. No fear here. Fay is a welcoming smile and a cheerful chat at the front desk. Garments dropped off are ready the NEXT DAY after 5 pm. They are returned on plastic hangers covered in a bag and expertly cleaned and pressed. They also have pick up and delivery service for the time-constrained. Went by to drop off items, the computers were down per note on the door. Are you kidding me? Does the younger generation know how to WRITE DOWN INFORMATION on a piece of paper. I was they had a virus & working on getting resolved. I came back 3-4 hours later, locked up tight, nothing to report! Unbelievable they can't figure out to write it down, input in computer later! Kona is close & convenient but looking around for another one. Also... when you drop off clothes, NOTHING in writing stating what or how many items you dropped off... again in the computer, e-mail notification items ready. Not comfortable with this set-up. I went in on a Wednesday to bring a dress in for a minor alteration, which was to adjust the straps. They guaranteed it would be done by Friday at 5pm. On Friday at 4:30, I called to check on the status of my dress. The lady on the phone had no clue what I was talking about. When she found my dress, she said it was not done. I had to fly out 6am the next day for a wedding, and they had reassured me my dress would be completed on time. I ended up having to pick up my dress and frantically search for someone to complete it, knowing it was close to the end of the business day. I thankfully found another place down the street that was able to complete it within 1 hour. This place will never again have my business. They are very disorganized. read more

Highway robbery. $15.47 for the dry cleaning of one sleeveless knee-length dress with detachable belt and a minidress. This is with a 20% discount! I've been a loyal customer of another dry cleaners in Anaheim Hills for nearly 10 years and they charge $5/dress without any coupons or discounts. Basically the regular price at Kona is $10/dress.
