Outstanding service! I brought a new suite in for just pressing on a Monday and returned on Tuesday to pick it up. I don't normally wear a suit other than going go to a wedding or funeral. I told the owner I was going to both my parent funeral, and I needed it as fast as possible. The owner was so compassionate, gracious and professional. I returned on Tuesday to pick it up and the owner told me that i didn't I have to pay for the service and refused to take my money. Where in our society does this happen? Fourteen years ago I had my wedding dress 'preserved' and boxed by LV Cleaners. Only because my daughter wanted to try it on recently did I break the seals. When I opened the box, my dress was just wadded up in there with no tissue or protection of any kind. Just my dress and the box. I wonder how many people learn this too late after their garment is damaged by time or elements. I paid a premium to have my dress prepared for storage and it was all a sham. read more

Absolut worst experience ever. Took my Burberry coat and scarf there and mentioned to the owner Dave that both are very expensive items and kindly asked him to take special care of it. When I picked it up today the scarf looked worse than before and the cost is the absolute desaster. The color is faded and it is damaged (!) par two spots!!! I have never ever experienced anything like that. Mentioning it to him, his wife and Dave start yelling at me! No apology or any kind word at all! I was asking them several times to calm down their voices but they kept screaming at me until I lost it. I cannot believe that this just happened. I will go after them with a lawyer. This is totally unacceptable! If you love your clothes don't bring them there!!!! read more

Found this place because they sent out coupons in the mail. Decided it was worth a try for the price. 99 cents - men's dress shirts. Love this place! I'm for certain they do most of the dry cleaning themselves (meaning they don't send it out to another company which inflates the price). My husband is happy with how his shirts are cleaned and pressed. I believe they only send out leather, suede and other specialty items but I may be wrong. The people who man the store are the owners. Very nice and always courteous. They have a couple reserved parking spaces for their shop in front which is helpful. This place is highly recommended in my book. read more

I started using Lakeview Cleaners a few months ago, due to the convenience and locality of it to my current employer, and I have not had any issues with their service! The lady there also offered to sew a button on one of my dress shirts that came undone and was damaged, due to wear and tear, free of charge! She is very nice and is very humble. Once I had a Hem come off my pants after wearing them and they did not charge me to get it re hemmed. I've been going here for a few years and have been decently happy. However, the last year they have more than doubled my charges. The two gentlemen are pleasant, but the lady here is absolutely rude! I brought an item back saying there was a stain still on it and she said no, that's not our fault. Now every time I go, she mocks me and says "do you think your clothes are clean enough?" Not being a great dry cleaner is one thing, acting like you're doing your customers a favor is uncalled for. I'm done! read more

They are awesome. They were able to remove all of the stubborn pen marks from my clothing and even removed some harsh oil stains I've had for a couple of months and had been unable to remove myself. We've been going here off and on for about 2 1/2 years. Until recently, we didn't have any issues. 2 cleanings ago, what I thought was a piece of fuzz ended up being a quarter size hole. I literally JUST got the sweater dry cleaned a few weeks before. Ok... could have been been a moth (or another insect) BUT my suspicion was rising that it might have been the dry cleaners. This time around, I decided to inspect all my clothes prior to dropping them off at the dry cleaners. No noticeable rips/holes/tears/etc. We received a phone call a few days after saying that one of my sweaters had a hole probably made by moths. Umm... no. When I got my sweater back, there were not only one BIG 50 cent piece hole but several others around my sweater. I think it might be the chemicals they use... too harsh maybe? This could have been overlooked... and we could have still used them BUT... the WORST part was that 3/4 of my clothes smelled like BO. FOUL BO! I called the owner asking for 50% refund. Not even full. There was no way that I was thinking of bringing back my clothes. His respond was that he has 2 other cleaners that he could take my clothes to and he'll redo my dry cleaning for free. That's not what I asked. I don't want him touching my clothes again. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. I calmly stated again that I'm not asking for a full refund... only half and he said that he's a hard working person who's not sleeping on the job and that we get some special prices (which at first he said that he gave to all his customers and then later recanted and said that it was limited to only certain ones). At the end of the day, he wouldn't give me the refund and I refuse to have him redo my dry cleaning (yes... I'm that afraid he's going to ruin my clothes even further). I have already told him that I'm going to give him a bad review and he said that it was fine since it would be his word vs mine. So you all have been forewarned. Just because it hasn't happened to you yet... doesn't mean it won't happen to you in the future. At the end of the day, all I was asking for was a lousy $50 and an apology. I guess I kind of got an apology but if you really feel strongly about your service, wouldn't you stand by it and give the refund so people don't have to write these types of reviews? I hate to leave one star but these folks are a train wreck. In one 4 week period of dry cleaning they misplaced a cloth belt, mixed up my dress with someone elses skirt and lost a pair of my husbands dress pants for a week. This place deserves ZERO STARS... but too bad there is no option for giving no stars. The only good thing you can say about this place is that it is moderately priced.... relatively... However, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! I have been going here for the past 7 years and continued to go out of convenience and familiarity. During the 7 years, there have been many instance where the clothes came back smelling like sweat or with stains still remaining. I would bring it to the owner (David) and it would be fixed. Now, within last 2 years, there have been 2 incidents where clothes came back damaged.... first time it happened, the owner claimed that the damages were already there and since I did not carefully inspect it, I let it go. The second time it happened, it was clear that it was caused while they were ironing (too long and damaged the fabric). Well... they refused to accept responsibility.... I asked the Chris (David's cousin) to give me a call. David never called me. It is pretty unprofessional... and I would STRONGLY CAUTION YOU TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!! read more
