OK so obviously there's not too many choices on this side of the island for a car dealerships. I wanted a Toyota or a Nissan but I've always bought Nissans in the past so I went with what I know and the comfort level as far as the seats in the car. I saw some of the reviews in the past and I was actually worried but obviously I feel sometimes you just have to give peace a chance to see for yourself I went in I saw that they had a couple Nissan RogueIn stock and I wanted to check them out. Gary was my salesman called me walk through the buying process super easy super fast I basically just have them bring me up and take it from there they did what they had to do they made the car happen and now I am completely happy with my purchase. The finance guys are actually super cool also and to actually care about the customer and not just about the financing and I will definitely be seeing them in the fall when you Coraline of comes out.

The only problem I have is the worksheet receipt was given to me without the things they safety checked. Only that the car was safety checked. Usually there is a check list of all the things with a check mark showing what they had checked On the car. I would appreciate if someone from your dealer in Kona send me a copy of all the things the checked on my car. Thank you, Loretta Berdon

Big Island Toyota sold out to a Private Equity Firm called Servco, which for 100 years have been…read moretaking the value out of any business and passing it on to the equity lords of Servco. Right now, the "good" people of "Servco" have been denying warranty service, vastly overcharging for simple services and basically following the process of making more money for their overlords at Servco. My experience is that I purchased my third Toyota from them right at the switch over. The sales people were all telling me how Servco was going to be better than Big Island Toyota and that we'd be getting more value for our purchase. They couldn't have been more wrong. The people that work at Servco have to live with the karma that they make other people's lives worse just to make a buck for their overlords. So currently, I'm in customer service hell with these guys because they refused to honor two warranties that covered the same thing. First they claim you get 180 days of road hazard protection with any service you get at their dealership. Second, I had bought a 100k "Platinum" extended service agreement that covered road hazards. I hit a road hazard and had a flat tire. Lacking the tools to properly change the tire, I called their 'free' roadside support. The guy who showed up had me pay him for gas, had me pay for the plug to fix my tire, and so the 'free' roadside service cost me $60. Now with my spare tire, I drove over to Toyota thinking they'd just replace my tire and we'd be on our way. Well, they denied paying for the tire, they also claimed they had to do a transmission diagnostic that they wanted to charge me $600 for without calling for approval, and this was right before Christmas so it felt extra crummy that their service manager would try to gouge someone in "Holiday Spirits". The funny thing is they also quoted me $250 to rotate my tires. Anyway, I took the car over to Costco and for $185 they replaced the tire and for free, rotated the tires. Now I'm stuck in customer service hell. The manager, "Tor" doesn't return calls. The service manager actively gaslights, doing stuff like 'I need to bring this to management' and then promising to call back and never calling back. I had to escalate to Toyota because there was no 'customer care' line published on their website(Servco doesn't do customer service, just customer robbery!) After talking to several regional people, they keep doing the 'we're going to investigate this and get back to you' and really, it's been a marathon of sitting and listening to excuses as to why this has been such a poor experience but never are they doing anything to remedy the situation. At this point, I just want them to refund the money I paid for this extended service agreement that they refuse to honor.

He was wearing a hat and the conversation of where his hat was purchased and the various models we had/have. I explained why we were there and the gentleman introduced us to the parts staff. Aaron and the young lady on staff were very friendly, professional, and very accommodating. Even recommending a great spot where locals eat. They are part of the reason why my wife likes to brag in private that as a family, we are BMW for life.

I had asked BMW staff in writing to keep my car safe inside their facility to prevent damage as it's a highly sought after collector car. Monday the 20th of July 2026 I get a phone call from BMW saying my car has been rear ended while sitting inside their garage over the weekend when they are closed! I have talked to the manager who started to tell me he too owns an older bmw instead of telling me "sorry" or "what can I do to make you happy". I have asked for some documentation and informed them that they need to compensate me for the devaluation of the car for it is now going to show accident damage for the rest of it's life. So be careful using these guys for service, it's not the old bmw dealership as it used to be, bunch of new kids with very little accountability there now.
