I bring my 2 boys here but I dread the music. It's very vulgar music and a lot of cursing and swearing. Nothing against them or their music I just think the professionalism matters with what customers you have. Parents, and children. Not everyone is ok with music singing drugs, rap, and the b-word and H@es every few minutes around their 6 and 9 year old. Hope this provides attentiveness to their surroundings, customers and the children. That would be a huge improvement! Huge upgrade! It would be great to not have to explain the music or answer questions or break down the lyrics they just heard once we get in the car. I've found the common fade shop to be inadequate with blending with scissors at medium hair lengths, and are usually only good at fades with clippers, but Tom at Hi Life Barber Shop is well versed in all styles. Absolutely nailed it, can't go wrong with these guys. I appreciate the old school style of the shop and the skills to back it up while having a family friendly atmosphere that seems lost these days. Dad was onboard and scheduled his cut on 12/30/23 and the dude was hesitant due to it being his birthday. He got started away. Since it's like guy bonding stuff I decided to let them do their thing and pop over periodically to see how dad was doing . The lobby area was spacious. I loved the vibes and music as they played some of my favorite songs. Dad seemed so happy to be pampered and even looked relaxed. Dad said he would recommend and I would too.
