The wife had a banana daiquiri and loved it! I was driving and had no alcohol. The drink had a kick and was worth the $11.95 for 8 oz. The woman/cashier was totally rude and not friendly, but even her bad attitude could not detract from the daiquiri and the spectacular views of Megan beach and islands. If you are in the area this place is totally worth the drive. You can do all your shopping in one place. Prices are better at the market in Charlotte-Amalie but I think the selection and quality is better at Mountain top.

The stand is located within a very large souvenir shop that is a tourist trap with very overpriced items. We didn't see anything that was impressive or interesting enough to actually get.

St. Thomas is filled with price gouging even after the hurricanes, how can people charge $3 for a bad photo of St. Thomas? I like Island in the Sun Boutique because their prices have actually decreased quite a bit. $0.50 for postcards and everything in the store was on sale. We found out that prices are not at all set. My hubby really liked this elephant décor piece and got it for a lower price than what is was going for. So don't hesitate to ask the owner for break. This store obviously survives off of the cruise ships docking at Havensight, which are slowly coming back so I think any sale to them is a deal at this point. The people that work here are really friendly are aren't pushy about buying things. The AC is off so there are some funky smells floating around from sweaty tourists, and I think that when they get it back on line again people will stick around longer and buy more things. This shop sells everything you could want or need as a souvenir from St. Thomas, one visit here and you have pretty much seen of what all the other shops are selling. The shopkeeper was closing up but kindly let us in to look, and boy are we glad she did! My husband bought one of the many beautiful leather bracelets. I bought an incredibly unique Christmas ornament, made from the same type of shell they use to make the local vejigante masks. I also bought a gorgeous paper mache fish. Parents bought stuff too. Everything hand painted and handmade by local artisans including the shopkeeper. Prices better than Old San Juan gift shops. Very happy we came here!

We learned about how he ended up in St Thomas and thoroughly enjoyed our shopping experience with him! The selection here is really vast. I originally came in set on the idea of getting the most simple version of this bracelet: silver, no frills. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider my options once I was being shown around the pins, rings, earrings, and bracelets--all with different designs, metals, and such. But ultimately, I went with my original, simple choice, and the quality was amazing. Fast forward to this year and I have somehow lost my bracelet. But, luckily for me, I see you can actually order them via their online store, as well!
