I just never think Lewiston for a nice meal. But obviously I should. We went there for a couple drinks and some oysters, but then I saw a cheeseburger go by and I knew I needed in my life. It had to be done, my life wouldn't be complete unless I had it. It was cooked, perfectly, medium rare, towering over the french fries. This thing was colossal. Smoked Gouda, jalapeño and crispy onion rings piled on top. A single bite containing most of my favorite things. I have no regrets. We saw a gorgeous dessert come out towards the end of our meal so naturally, I asked the bartender about it. She said it was meant to be an evening special, I would ask if it was available for sale. After having it photograph, the chef came and delivered it personally. Much like his vision of a cheeseburger this dessert was flawless. Strawberry mousse with dark chocolate, ganache, and Oreo cookie crumble. I would've eaten it out of a shoe, a dirty one, a damn fishing boot.
