Yes, it's small. About 20 rows, maybe 20 seats per row. That being said- there's not a bad seat in the house. We saw "A Christmas Carol" and I've gotta say, the actor who played Scrooge is incredibly talented! The entire cast really did a great job. Very short play, but quality. But the review I guess is more for the venue, I bought tickets and upon arriving realized that my grandmother had also bought tickets. I didn't want a refund- it was our mistake- I more so wanted to let them know that the seats I purchased would be empty, should they want to fill them. To my surprise the very sweet ladies at the ticket office offered to switch my tickets to the next play in January! Super impressed with that, and will continue to support them, they do a lovely job there.

The Public Theater is not in a beautiful building like Comstock Hall, but this must be the best…read morevalue for theater tickets in the state. Seats are about $20 and if you have a subscription you get a free set of tickets to share. The plays are very well produced, cast, and acted. The selection of plays is one of the main reasons we have season tickets here. They generally have comedies, some with a message, but not too serious. On a hectic day, it is relaxing to sit and enjoy such high quality entertainment. Try it, you will not regret it.

Not only did the grandchildren absolutely love it but so did I. The animals are great! The staff, phenomenal and while I'm sure it's difficult to stay excited day after day, they made us feel like we were special guests. We arrived around 11 and the kids asked if we could stay until closing. Even today, the oldest (he's 12) said, "I wish I lived in Maine and could have my birthday party there!" We will absolutely be making the drive to Poland once the new location is fully set up. Best of luck - although I don't think that's going to be necessary. The community involvement, education and giving back will be enough "luck" to make you as successful in the new location as you have been in the old. They have a snack bar with pretty good food, but depending on who serves food that day you may want to pass. Our waitress never once checked on us--we had to flag her down every single time, which made ordering drinks and food a chore rather than a relaxing night out. But honestly, the worst part of the night wasn't even the service. It was the fact that a couple brought their newborn to the bar and stayed from 8 PM to midnight. With loud music blasting, they passed the baby around and parade it around on the dance floor, never feeding the child once, but had no problem changing it on the air hockey table. It was disturbing to watch, and frankly, it made the entire atmosphere uncomfortable. A bar is no place for a newborn, especially late at night in that kind of environment. The only saving grace of the night was the band, Trans Am--they were absolutely phenomenal. They put on a great performance, but unfortunately, the energy in the bar was completely off. Nobody was dancing or really engaging with the music, which was a shame because they deserved a much better crowd. If management allows this kind of thing to happen, I don't see myself coming back. There are plenty of other dive bars that at least provide decent service and an environment where I don't have to question someone's parenting choices all night
