A life savior for me when I am in desperate need for some Asian ingredients! Being that there aren't a lot of Asian groceries available in the area, it is extremely difficult to find ingredients that I would typically use for cooking. Luckily, this place has a good amount of ingredients I am able to use for my home-cooking. One downside is that their items are more expensive than I would have liked but this makes sense as they have to ship all their products in from quite a distance. They have weekly shipments so some produces are as fresh as can be. The space is a little cramped but I never had an issue with it being that I'm usually in the store with 1 other person if not by myself. One thing I really like is that they really take the current pandemic seriously. Upon entering, you are required to have a mask on as well as to put on gloves (which they provide) before you enter the store, which promotes COVID precautions. To my knowledge, this is one of maybe three Asian grocery stores in town. However, they do carry items that the other stores don't so you may want to check out this place if you have something specific you're looking for. read more

It's a crammed space and I can find the stuff in other Asian grocery stores around town which are nicer with more variety of foods. I wore a mask in and was making my way to the back of the store. A big guy came around the corner and said come here girl. I said excuse me and he said I need you to put some gloves on. I proceeded to tell him that he could have said it nicely. Full disclosure: I came here based on the name and the photos. Trust me, it was totally worth it! We could not just drive all the way to Lawton and eat Korean food without making a stop at an Asian grocery store, not just any Asian grocery store make that the "Korea Korean Store"! Although it's been a few months since I've been around all my comfort food, my husband thought I had never been in an Asian grocery before! Well,l it's been a few LONG months, I couldn't be more excited! Don't say I didn't warn you because it's a small store and it's all crammed in there. It's like sensory overload because the shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with kitchen goods, noodles, beauty products/gadgets, meat or frozen delights (even mandoo). The chilled fridges offer a nice assortment of banchan to choose from in convenient plastic take out containers. And the prices were so incredibly cheap! We bought (small containers) seasoned fish cake and seaweed salad for $2.98! I thought they might offer our beloved Korean pears but unfortunately, they did not, sigh, although I saw another type of Korean apple and a few other fresh veggies. The lady at the cash register was friendly. I'll assume the owner or manager who came out and started to talk to me until she realized I didn't speak Korean yet she was still so nice and adorable asking if I had a garden since I was admiring the vegetable seeds! First time I had ever seen napa cabbage and perilla leaf seeds. We didn't make it to any other Asian grocery stores but this one is pretty much your one stop shop if you're looking for a Korean cooking ingredient or perhaps trying to channel your inner Korean chef by passing your off cooking as homemade. I recently discovered this store & was pleasantly surprised to find this small store has so much! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer a much larger selection of freshly made banchan & kimchi (Korean side dishes) than any of the other Korean markets in town. Though you wouldn't know it unless you ask (because the freezers don't have glass doors), they offer a very large selection of meats & seafood in their freezers (the type you need for Korean dishes--ex: bulgogi, kalbi, etc), as well as Korean soups, seasonings, candies, coffee, crackers, cookies, ice creams, gum, treats, and basically all my personal favorites! They also have a good selection of Korean houseware items--blankets, rice cookers, etc. Prices are reasonable & they are open on Sundays! BTW: They have pre-made Korean dishes ready to eat items, such as Kimbap (which is Korean's type of sushi. It was excellent, very fresh & I love they make it with bulgogi meat), Japchae noodles, Mochi, Dduk (fresh rice cakes), Korean donuts/bread/buns. read more

This place offers a wide selection of Korean and Japanese groceries, and all at reasonable prices. I mean, c'mon -- where else does one find canned perilla leaves, mugwort rice cakes, and silkworm larva (don't knock 'em 'til you've tried 'em!) in Comanche County? Lighting could be better, yes, but -- all in all -- this is a real foodie oasis in southwestern Oklahoma. read more

Best Korean store in Lawton! The owner makes fresh side dishes and soups every other day and kimbap daily. I've been to the other Korean stores and this one has everything you need to make Korean food and then some. You'd be surprised how much a small store can hold. This place has Korean, drinks, teas, snacks, noodles, meat, side dishes, seafood, ice cream, rice cakes, bakery bread, all different types of dumplings, vegetables, grains, rice and etc. You name it, they probably have it!
