As i walked into this place it had a very calm feel. There are booths to sit in as you wait for the show to begin, a cafe to order some treats and a cuppa along with a bar if you want a few drinks before the show. The music that played throughout the place had nice beats that made the atmosphere very fun and exciting. Jackson lane also has a lot of classes and shows that they put on monthly. If you're in the area, pop by and see what they have going on. It's a lovely little theatre with a lot of spunk :]

I did get there early, but with less than an an hour to go we had everything just being set up and it did not seem very welcoming. The only good aspect of my visit was the theatre itself, I was allowed to take my drink in and the show was brilliant. Lost Spectacles' Lost in the Wind. In saying the negative about this place, it seems to be more of a council owned arts centre than a theatre. Nothing wrong with that, just wasn't my expectation. Do go there, its worth it - just get there moments before the show begins.

Rather than working towards an overriding theme, the exhibition is defined by the size of the works - all pieces measure 40 x 40 cm. A good size which works well for photographs and paintings alike - and fits on regular walls in regular homes. No wonder quite a few pieces were snapped up on opening night! Mince pies were a nice touch!! I wonder if I'd even noticed this gem if I had just walked down the road. The main shop window on Denmark Hill is dedicated to the framing business. The main gallery space is towards the back of the building with a separate entrance from a side street. Beautiful basement gallery!

For anyone with an interest in Japanese culture, or who wants to study (or teach) Japanese, this place is incredibly useful. There is a fantastic library with the largest collection of Japanese study resources in the UK (I think there are over 8,500 items...) If you are thinking about studying for the Japanese Language Proficiency test, this is definitely the best place to come and look at text books!! If you are a teacher you can become a full member, in which case they are even able to send you books in the post (if you can't make it into London to choose resources yourself.) In addition to books you can borrow a whole range of DVDs, CDs, karuta (card games), games etc. to make fantastic Japan-related lessons. There are also a huge range of Japan-related events held here (you can peek at the website to find out what is happening at the moment: http://www.jpf.org.uk/whatson.php) What's more; the majority of events are free - Yatta!!

My work was inside the O2 arena which is inside this outlet too. I went to Nandos, Five Guys, Chiptole, German Kabob and a Thai restaurant. I also did some shopping here as well at Adidas, Hot Chocolate, Sunglass Guys and other stores. The arena is located right here you enter the outlet.

Situated at the rear of the Gamekeepers lodge pub in the Bellingdon road..Wow, this place is tiny…read more!Some great local artifacts which give an insight into the industry and social history of Chesham.There is a permanent exhibition called very quaintly 'Boots Beer,Brushes and Baptists' and there are other displays of machinery, woodenware,tools ,and maps. Local schools or families can organise an educational visit with a guide and participate in age targetted activities .There is a large collection of local period photographs which can be viewed on a computer. I would say that this is not up to the standard of todays Museums and that it probably would not keep the interest of young children but for anyone with an interest in local history or with a reason to study it, it is a fabulous and important resource.

The Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art, is a little difficult to find, being tucked away on…read morea residential street in Canonbury. It is well worth it once you get there, especially if you are a student and therefore get in for free. The building is a converted house and has some associated eccentricities, including narrow staircases and a slightly odd layout. The collections are interesting and varied, with well explained information about the artist and their motivations etc. There is a cafe on the ground floor, run by Italians who know their coffee. However, cafe is a little bit pokey if you have to sit inside, which is a shame, but it still offers a reasonable range of sandwiches and cakes. There is also a gift shop, which has a good range of reasonably priced stock, worth a look if you liked the gallery.

You should check when the events are, because it could interfere with the areas being available for a visit. There was also a beautiful outdoor area that would have been amazing to sit at the café outdoors and admire the scenery, but unfortunately it was raining at the time of our visit and it would not have been as enjoyable to sit outdoors here. Would definitely come back to explore more, and hoping the weather will be better in the future.

Very disappointing experience. I'll start with the good. The front desk staff was incredible,…read morevery friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, the concierge was probably the worst ever. I received a package via Amazon and showed him the details from the Amazon email. He condescendingly asked me where it was on his list, where it wasn't printed, and stressed that if it wasn't there they did not get a package. I cannot put into words how condescending he was. I left for dinner worried the package was lost or misdelivered. When I returned, he was no longer there so I asked the great front desk staff if they had received a package for me. They remembered getting something and checked a few places, long story short is they found the package. Again, kudos to the front desk who went the extra mile for me, but why was the concierge so negativistic and self assured. Another positive was the fitness Centre, which had some great equipment, including a nice rower and treadmill. Unfortunately, the smell in the hallway leading to the fitness centre almost made me sick every day. A couple other challenges from the property. The room is what I would have imagined a jail cell. A small mattress just thrown into a corner. Also, the door to the bathroom slammed every time I went in, I am sure not very pleasant for my neighbors. Also the fire alarm went off at 7 am my last night, the cherry on top.
