Came here with a few friends as our first meal and we were amazed by the food! All of our dishes were amazing! The staffs were friendly as well. My favorite dish was the Galbi Tang (K8) and LA Gabli (K2). If there's a change I'm back in Calgary, I would definitely visit again! What we ordered: galbi tang (k8) LA galbi (k2) grilled mackerel + miso soup (K14), wang galbi (k1) and duk bae ki bulgogi (k6)

WOW very delicious. Came here for lunch with my colleague and we decided to get something to share. So we ended up getting the bulgogi beef combo for 2 and it came with: Bulgogi beef on a sizzling plate for 2 2 bowls of rice lettuce salad and 4 side dishes The rice was purple rice which means healthy. Loved the Bulgogi. It has lots of flavor in it. We were told that to eat it we are suppose to wrap the bulgogi in the lettuce and add in the red sauce that they gave us. It turned out to be delicious. The best part is their red sauce. Its a bit spicy. But very unique and again flavorful (not super spicy because I can't handle super spicy food). I did notice that the restaurant is full of Korean people that means its authentic. Well it is located in a Korean Mall. Free parking is available but very limited. Overall, Loved the place and highly recommend coming here. Very legit.

Born and raised in PHILLY (Philadelphia) there's a Korean restaurant my parents took me to often growing up called Seorabol. It's one of the best korean restaurant in philly & Korean Village reminds me of just that. Home-y, tasty & boosting with flavor this Korean restaurant surprised me with the authentic flavoring! Hungover, I opted for the Gamjatang (potato pork stew) Everything from the tender pork to the soft potatoes that weren't too mushy to the refreshing broth - instantly made my hangover go away. As for side dishes? It's very older generation centered. They served dishes like seasoned bean sprouts, spicy radish and sweet radish. Idk man, if you need some solid Korean food this is where you need to go!

H3. Beef & mushrooms for 2 (Medium portion). Yum

Yo! Authentic Korean food dining experience in the house! Order H3 Medium (beef and mushrooms with clear noodles) for plenty of food for 2 people at about $20 each. The banchan (assorted flavorful pickled radishes, kimchi etc) were excellent too. Clear noodles are GF -- made of sweet potatoes. They come in soups and ad the main course of Japchae, which I enthusiastically recommend trying if you haven't yet. YUM. (You can usually get it vegan too, just ask for no meat). Hot tip: You will know you're in an authentic Korean restaurant when... 1. Everyone around you is speaking Korean 2. They greet you with corn tea in the winter 3. The hostess hugs one of the sweet elderly customers 4. Certain meat dishes come with a pair of giant scissors to cut it 5. Your meal includes an open flame We observed all of these lovely customs today and will definitely return!

The hubby and I came here on a whim while shopping for korean groceries next door. The booths make your dining experience super private, but if you get delegated to the back like we were, be prepared to be ignored for your entire meal. I ordered the bulgogi dolsot bibimbap for $12 and my hubby got the spicy pork dolsot bibimnap. We also shared some dumplings, which were the worst we've ever had, and this Asian has eaten plenty dumplings in her life!! The wrappers were loose around the filling, which was just a tiny morsel of ground meat. The only saving grace was the dipping sauce, which was soy sauce, sesame seeds, some chili flakes and pickled jalapeño. So, you can skip the dumplings next time. The banchan (sides) were kimchi, fish cakes, seaweed salad, bean sprouts and two large pieces of daikon. If they're trying to waste food, they sure came up with a great way to make sure it happens because the daikon was way too big to eat, and way too soft to cut. The bibimbap were really good, like really really good. The stone bowl came out super hot and my rice crisped up nicely. I think I'd come here again for lunch and I'll know how to expect next time around.

We've been coming here for a long time, probably over the past 10 years at least and it started off as Dae Jang Geum. Some minor changes since the previous owner but nothing major to note. I love the Kim Chi, seafood pancake and bi bim bap. The BBQ is good and tasty and the combination meals I find is more than enough to feed my family of 5. I prefer they cook for us so we don't have to bbq it at the table and get all smokey. The price of the BBQ is a bit high. The rib is marinated really nicely, tender and flavourful. The seafood pancake is a combination of crunchy, slightly chewy and with the dipping sauce slightly salty. The bi bim bap has that crunch with the rice at the bottom of the stone pot and lots of julienned vegetables. I really like the assortment of side dishes but they always have the Kim Chi, pickled daikon and blanched bean sprouts. The jalapenos with wasabi sauce is good too. Service for us is always good as they recognize us but it can get busy especially at dinner time on the weekend.

If you would like to have some authentic Korean bbq, and just overall korean cuisine - then you need to visit the Korean Village! I have visited Korea a couple of times and every time I come back home or anytime I crave Korean food I go to Korean Village and order their tteokbokki (spicy rice cake, gamjatang (pork bone soup), tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), jajangmyun, and kalbi. It's the closest thing to the food I ate in Korea. Also, I find that they serve the best dishes as well. The restaurant needs some sort of update/renovation, but overall it is clean enough. Their service is good as well, but I have had instances where no on has come back to our table to refill drinks or see how were doing until we call someone over. I definitely recommend their tangsuyuk, it is the best one in Calgary - just super crispy and the sauce it just right, not too sweet or salty. If you order the tangsuyuk pair it up with their jajangmyeon, it's such a great combination.

The price is a bit too steep for the portion, the food is ok but on average better than other korean restaurants in Calgary.

Whenever we're in Calgary, we always make an effort to visit this restaurant for lunch. What we appreciate most about this place is the consistency. This restaurant isn't as cheap as others, but we've become loyal customers because the food is always tasty and service is always great. Keep it up and we'll keep on coming!

Not good enough. There is no chicken inside the deep fried chicken and the cold noodle is just so so.
