The case had many complexities, the first started with the lady fleeing the scene, but one thing was clear from the beginning. Michael and his team were experts in this field. Not only was the experience personable, but as the case turned into almost 4 years of going back and forth with the opposing side. They stayed as engaged, and supportive since day one, and always had a clear path and direction. There was a prior issue that showed up in my medical history that threw a wrench in the case being that I complained about some issues in the same area a couple years prior to the accident. Even though it had nothing to do with my injuries. This created a slight upper hand to the defense. Without any hesitation or set back. We pushed forward and after many doctors visits, phone calls, meetings, and negotiating. We ended up with more than we anticipated on getting. This result has only stemmed from the dedication, and commitment to their clients that they agree to support. I would highly recommend The Panah Law Firm to anyone. Including my closest friends, and family. Thank you Michael, and team!!!

Jennifer created a clear plan from the outset and followed-though to completion with very little help from the administrators, who continuously raised non-issues, to put it mildly. Jennifer kept everyone on track. She gave us peace of mind by discussing and answering all of our questions clearly, concisely and authoritatively. Her professionalism was key in helping the administrators understand and fulfill their roles. Most impressive was Jennifer's ability to remember all of the facts, legal issues, timelines, next steps and other important details of the case. She made me feel like I was her most important client. Jennifer's credentials are on-point. She is recognized by the California State Bar as a specialist in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Law. Specialist designation by the California State Bar requires demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of the entire practice area. She holds an advanced law degree (LLM) in Taxation, which gives her the practical and theoretical knowledge needed to prepare, structure and administer trusts and estates while preserving wealth. I have been a successful, full-time, practicing attorney for over 30 years in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and can confirm that Jennifer is a superb attorney. She has my highest recommendation and respect.

I worried about choosing the wrong person: someone who might be inattentive, inexperienced, or unwilling to truly fight for our case. I was concerned that our situation would be treated as just another case and not something important. I called multiple law firms only to have their assistants tell me that it would take six months before they would let me know if they would take our case. That was disheartening. Some didn't return my call at all. Susan was the only lawyer who reached out to me personally. Within minutes I knew she was the right choice. She expressed genuine concern. It was clear that she was deeply passionate about what she does and is committed to seeking justice for her clients. She intentionally takes on only a limited number of cases each year so she can give each one her full attention and she wanted to fight for us. Once I hired Susan, I knew I made the right decision. Whenever I had questions, Susan called me personally and took the time to explain everything every step of the way. She treated me with respect and made me feel included throughout the entire process. We had meaningful conversations about strategy and possible outcomes. Her knowledge of elder care and abuse is both broad and impressive. Her network of experts, attorneys, and judges is a tremendous asset. Her staff was kind, responsive, and helpful. I hope no one has to go through what we experienced. But if you do, you want Susan Kang Gordon on your side. She gave me a sense of protection and peace of mind. I stopped worrying because I knew I had someone I could trust, someone with integrity and honor. It let me focus on my loved one. Susan is professional, tough, and incredibly tenacious. She does not back down, and she is exactly the kind of advocate you want in your corner. My priority was protecting my loved one and seeking justice for them, and Susan exceeded every expectation. She achieved a settlement far above what I thought was possible. Even after the case was resolved, she continues to offer guidance and support. That's the kind of person she is. She truly cares.

Susan's ability to be both commanding and persuasive, and her ability to articulate the nuances of the law was truly impressive. She took the time to listen to our concerns, answer questions, and provide invaluable guidance and support, which meant the world to us during a stressful and uncertain period. Thanks to Susan and her team's tireless efforts and steadfast advocacy, we achieved a successful outcome that exceeded our expectations. Her commitment to justice and her dedication to protecting my father's rights were evident in the favorable outcome we received. I wholeheartedly recommend Susan Kang Gordon and her team to anyone in need of exceptional legal representation surrounding elder abuse and or negligent/poor care received by a care facility.

While the agreement clearly states that no legal advice is provided because Diana is not an attorney, she nevertheless proceeded to provide information that I found to be inaccurate and potentially misleading. If you need legal guidance, my advice is to hire an attorney rather than rely on a mediation service for legal questions. I also came away with a strong impression of bias during the mediation process. Mediation only works when both parties are willing to be reasonable and compromise. In my experience, too much time was spent arguing over relatively petty items, which made the process unnecessarily frustrating and, ultimately, a waste of time and money. My biggest concern, however, was the apparent lack of neutrality. I expected a mediator to remain impartial and help both parties reach reasonable agreements, but I did not feel that was happening. In the end, I spent considerable time and money on a service that did not meaningfully move things forward. Based on my experience, I would recommend consulting an attorney and carefully considering whether mediation is appropriate for your situation before investing significant time and money.
