I've seen some bad doctors throughout my life, but I have yet to meet anyone who has the level of disrespect, apathy, incompetence, and laziness as Neary does. She should not be allowed to even "practice" medicine. She misdiagnosed me at least twice (can't even properly identify rosacea). If she couldn't find what was causing a health issue, she wouldn't look into it any further. She would just shrug her shoulders. She clearly does no research, doesn't keep up on current medicine, and doesn't ask her colleagues for their professional medical opinion. Basically, she wants you out of her office as soon as possible. The last straw for me was when I made an appointment with her, asking for help because I had lost a lot of weight due to a very stressful, traumatic life experience. I basically wanted to get some labs done to ensure that my health was still in relatively good condition, find a healthy way to gain the weight back, and I also explained to her what I had been going through. She immediately tried pushing anti-depressants on me... Just a band-aid to the issue (for which I was seeing a psychologist to work through). I have tried 4 different anti-depressants in the past, only to find that they made everything worse, including my health. I respectfully relayed this information to Neary, and she was instantly angry that I didn't want to take the anti-depressants. I told her how sick they made me, and she said in a very cold, unprofessional, and disrespectful manner, "Well you look sick already!". After that appointment, I was rightfully upset by what had happened. My doctor was supposed to be my advocate, not a mean jerk. I am better at writing what's on my mind than speaking it, so I wanted to calmly collect my thoughts and politely relay them to her. I let her know that I felt disrespected during the appointment and that I need to be able to openly communicate with my physician in a respectful, safe, and compassionate environment. After that, she immediately dismissed me from her practice without any advance notice. She knew I was in the middle of seeking treatment, but rather than apologize for her incredibly unprofessional behavior or make the situation right, she left me out on my own with no primary care physician. She also made a point to accuse me of having an eating disorder when she knew damn well that I do not and never have had one... Especially since part of the reason I made the appointment in the first place was to ask about a going to nutritionist so that I could put weight back on in a healthy way. I've never been so insulted by a so-called "medical professional". Stay far, far away from Neary. She is an absolutely awful person and negligent "doctor".

When there's a true crisis, Dr Neary goes far out of her way to assist a patient, spending a great deal of her time in relieving the patient's mental anguish as well as the physical symptoms. She does a great job, and what really wins me over is that she explains everything really well. She's not afraid to get into the biomechanics and biology of things, and doesn't try to dumb things down or wave anything off. I have a far better understanding of what's going on in my ankle and foot, and then she explains the techniques she's using, what they do, how it works, and so on. I've seen a couple other PT's in town, and now I know where I'll be returning if I need one again.

I had a challenging back injury (herniated discs and severe nerve tension) and had jumped from PT to PT over the course of 5 months, with no relief and no advancement in my healing process. Chelsea has made me feel confident, strong, and I've healed so much faster than I had been. Not only am I walking again, I'm lifting weights, working out on the elliptical and hopefully soon will be conquering hiking and hills. Obviously, you get as much out of PT as you put into it, but without Chelsea's expert guidance I would not be where I am today. In addition, Endurance PT came highly recommended to me by my gynecologist...and I'm not sure there are any other doctors who know the female body better than your gyno.

Unfortunately Megan is transitioning out of physical therapy and I was seen by Amber instead. Amber is overconfident and has an attitude. She touches your body with a towel in her hand while wearing gloves which is awkward. I was then charged for a no show because I showed up 12 minutes late for my appointment due to an accident that required me to reroute. I asked to have my appointments with Amber cancelled and to be seen by another therapist and was told I would be called by Megan. That did not happen and my appointments were not cancelled. I then asked for my records to be mailed to me. They were not and I had to call again and ask for them to be mailed to me. I finally received them and they included inappropriate comments making attacks against me personally from one of the staff members who had talked over me and was rude during my interactions with her. I then went to another physical therapist only to discover I had been misdiagnosed with having one leg longer than the other which I had gone to my orthotics specialist for a heel lift to fix which only created problems. I actually just have a minor hip misalignment. These people are rude, inflexible, intolerant, and do not know what they are doing.

I was engaged in intensive physical therapy and was -- just -- able to walk with a walker. Thanks to Christina's knowledge and using a holistic approach to my situation, she was instrumental, as part of my medical team, in helping me to gain strength and independence. I was able to begin driving again and to walk across flat surfaces without an assistive device during her care. It was solely Christina's care that relieved the pain in my permanently contracted muscles and also led to some muscle retraction and return of normal muscle function in some areas of my body. The holistic approach she takes is far more than 'seeing' you as a person: it's seeing that the person in front of her has trauma -- physical, emotional, or both. And intuitively knowing the best treatment option. Chiropractic should be available to everyone, not just the wealthy. She is the ONLY DC in Eugene with a reasonable cash payment requiring no extensive X-rays or further appointments. Most of all, she is highly skilled in the mechanics of chiropractic and I'm very grateful I found her.Eugene has NO IDEA how lucky they are to have her at such a reasonable rate.
