This was my first time at Memphis Blues, and certainly won't be my last. Our server was sassy, cheerful and very welcoming. And having visited Memphis myself, this was par for the course. Very knowledgeable on the menu and great at suggesting which platter would feed our hungry crowd. We were a group of 6 and went with the Elvis Platter, which came with all the fixings and enough meat to put you (or 6 of you) in a meat coma. All of the meats for that matter! Enough to fill our tummies and our boots. The meat was tender and smoked to perfection. Some a little dry, but nothing a slathering of BBQ sauce can't fix. My favourite was the sausage! It was raining and as I travelled toward the entrance on the road a pot hole concealed by the rain caused my scooter to overturn and leaving my clothes wet and dirty. A stranger at the next table actually asked me "did they forget about you?" as I waited and my wife tried to consume her questionable prime rib which had to be sent back. Upon talking to the owner, they agreed to 50% off of our next order, which we ordered for today. The problem is they did not honor their commitment to that discount.
