On my most recent visit I ordered a three piece Chubby Chicken Dinner. When I looked at the receipt I noticed the amount I was charged did not match the menu board. I was charged for my root beer when it should have been included in the price of the combo. Both the person who served me and the manager/owner seemed somewhat puzzled. I pointed out that the price on the menu board didn't match what I was charged. It was only after a somewhat heated discussion that I was grudgingly given a partial refund. On a previous visit I ordered the same Chubby Dinner and ended up with 5 pieces of chicken and a family size fries. The person who took my order did not seem at all familiar with the menu and chicken combos. Since I was in a hurry and it seemed like I got good value for my money, I didn't bother bringing it to their attention. Both times the chicken was good as it usually is at A & W. My biggest concerns with this location is staff in general are disorganized, not familiar with the menu, and don't exactly go out of their way to be helpful.

We have had people say it's a pretty good burger. So, here we are going to try out the burgers. It's a drive thru order no inside sitting. You can park and walk up to a window and order and sit outside on a few benches and tables set up front. The drive thru work like this, You order on one side of the Shack and pick up on the other side. This is not a fast food chain, each order is made fresh with care from the time you order to the time you pick up. From the person who took our order to the person that gave us our order was friendly and fabulous!! Ordered two cheeseburger combos. Which was 2 big cheeseburgers, 2 huge fries and 2 drinks for $25.60. We have never had a burger and fries that were so hot and delicious!! We will definitely be returning to try out their other food items and milkshakes!!

Washroom space is a little tight but there are 2 stalls for females. It wasn't busy and atmosphere was quiet first thing in the morning. We didn't wait long and the portion size is pretty good. We ordered an adult pancake portion for 2 kids to split and they gave us extra plates for that without asking. I loved the crab cake benny, the eggs were a touch overdone (yolk wasn't overly runny) but the flavour was great. Definitely beats a fast food drive thru breakfast and I'd stop there again if we did a similar road trip. My husband said there's a location in Edmonton which I will have to check out in the future!
