For such an expensive membership I wish there was more enforcement of quiet spaces since there are many phone booths . The Kaiser garden is great and there's even a cool dance studio ! The rooftop is just great when it's warm! Levi, our host for the evening, was wonderful--kind, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. And Sherill, the bartender, was fantastic--she made amazing drinks, and we loved that we were able to bring our own alcohol. The venue itself is beautiful, with plenty of space for guests to enjoy comfortably. The handmade wooden tables added such a unique and elegant touch. We also had a taco truck set up in the back, and everything flowed perfectly. Thank you to the entire Phoenix team for helping make my son's celebration so special and memorable. Parking is not the best, it is mostly either paid parking garage/lot parking or street parking (metered). If you do not want to deal with driving/finding parking, BART is literally right there, so it is pretty convenient, just get off at the 12th St/Oakland City Center stop. There are a few friendly front desk receptionists to greet you as well. I feel like the space is fairly clean, and the bathrooms are always clean and fully stocked as well. My favorite part was definitely the many private booths (that look like telephone booths) available to use throughout the shared space to quietly get some work done for a short period of time (there is a time limit to ensure all members and guests have access to these booths). Overall, this is a modern and nice area to work at, but sometimes it gets a bit too loud.
