I'd 100% recommend this bar for a few drinks or plan to spend your evening here. We sang along with the band, danced and drank. Can't wait to go back next time we are visiting beautiful Barcelona.

We all made separate reservations but came as a group since the place booked us all at 9pm. We read the dress code on the website and it says "no flip flops" and "no athletic shoes." Nothing said "no sandals" and definitely nothing said "you must wear heels." We get to the establishment - which didn't even open on time. They made us stand in line for 20 minutes. As we all approach the door, the glorified bouncers decide we can't come in because we're wearing "flip flops." Allegedly. NONE OF THE LADIES have on flip flops - we're all wearing dressy sandals - flat sandals, but dressy/nice. The bouncers then proceed to go to the back of the line and get all the white patrons and bring them inside - many of them wearing both athletic shoes/sneakers (dirty ones at that) or flat sandals (some white girls even had on the EXACT SAME SHOES as some of the ladies in our group)! We asked to speak to the manager. She came out and acknowledged us for about 2 minutes then quickly ran back inside. I should make it known that the lighter-skinned folks in our group were allowed in for their reservation - even the ones with flat sandals. It's evident Gatsby is incredibly wealthy and incredibly racist because they just turned away 45 BLACK patrons. They evidently don't need our coins and they don't need yours.
