When I questioned the office about this additional charge, they explained that discussions about my monthly cycle and menopause symptoms were not considered part of the annual exam and thus incurred extra fees. All of the Medical Assistants that I have had were excellent and caring. My only concern was the billing department not being up to date. The front office person told me I owed $30. which I had already paid 2 months prior, and it wasn't even for this office/doctor. She didn't believe me when I told her and gave me a dirty look. I felt this was very unprofessional of her and the next time I came in I had the proof with me. Going to a doctor shouldn't cause more anxiety but because I have had no other issues in over 30yrs I will not take any "stars" from my review. I have also gone to 2 other lady practitioners in this practice (Margaret and Jackie and they were wonderful also but avoid Dr. Bulaj as she is the worst doctor I've ever experienced in my life. I can't imagine how she can still be working there or anywhere!
