Personal favorite for years. I moved to the states now but I always have to stop in when I visit home for the beef and shrimp teriyaki.

Been one of my favourites since i was very little!! They really know how to make food. Wish they would open up outside of just a food court.

Really enjoyable experiences dining in and ordering takeout. The staff is very friendly. The sushi…read moreis delicious and always tastes fresh. Great place for an intimate dining date or to bring along the family.

Went to Sakai for lunch with a couple of colleagues for a change from the AYCE sushi joints we…read morenormally go to. We ordered 4 meals, too much for the 3 of us, but we wanted to try different dishes. The soondubu was a favourite, and although not the best I've had, and lacking a bit of heat for me, it was still very good, and my colleagues enjoyed the spice level. Lucky for me there was some gochujang on the table, so I was able to warm things up! The bibimbap was good, not sure the bowl was hot enough, as there was only a bit of crispy rice, and the egg was a bit over. The gochujang came in handy again here, but the flavours in the dish and accompaniments were good. Same for the bulgogi...the best part of the plate was the buchimgae (pancake). Not that the bulgogi was bad, it was just good. We also had a maki platter not pictured that was decent as well. They have little individual table rooms (we weren't in one this trip) which adds to the authentic feel of the place. Service was good, though a little slow on the maki (hence no photo) A good introduction to Korean food for my friends, enough to inspire them to want to try more.
