The Ukrainian Brothers replied promptly to my request and provided a fair estimate. We chose to use their services, and at my request, they were able to begin a week later. They worked hard every day, were polite, and were transparent about their actions. They don't speak a lot of English, which occasionally made communication challenging, but Nadiia, one of the owners, was always available by phone and able to offer assistance. The entire process took around two weeks to finish. They had a plumber come in to change out our shower and bathtub valves. The shower valve was discovered to be leaking during the installation of the shower trim after everything had been retiled. To access the valve and avoid damaging the new tile, they determined that cutting a hole in the wall of my toilet room, which also served as the back of the shower, was the best course of action. They patched up the wall and painted over it, but the cutout or patch is still noticeable. Overall, they did a quality job; the remodel looks great, but the patchwork is what makes my review a four-star review. We used Kozak Ukrainian for a bunch of projects around our rental home that my Mom resides in. Small projects like hanging stuff on the wall, to medium plumbing projects, chalking, etc. Also, an above garage hanging rack. They did excellent work! Very professional, friendly, kind and considerate of my Mom's space. The communication is top notch! And we all know how important communication is with busy schedules! The price was also right! Kozak handymen did a great job on the laminate flooring in my house. The price was high average for the job but the quality of installation was very good. the were on time and on budget. They worked straight through the day and finished before the projected time. They also repaired the roof where there was some damage. They did an excellent job and I will hire them again for the next big project that comes up. The person that estimated the cost of the work did a good job and I thought was a reasonable price. I have found that usually cheap estimates result in cheap jobs. read more

I had a few doors in my house that were hung crooked and they were not closing properly. Alsobhad problems with weather stripping and Scorpions were getting into my house. Two guys showed up quickly once I requested a quote. They gave me a very fair quote and got to work immediately. They worked with so much urgency and accuracy. We got several quotes for a kitchen backsplash and Kozak's price was extremely competitive. When they got here, they taped off the entire hallway from the kitchen to the garage where they were mixing and cutting as to not track any dirt. They were efficient and had the tile placed and grouted in one day. The final product looks excellent. Cuts are clean and grout lines are even. Based on the price and quality of work, I would highly recommend Kozak for any tile needs. read more
