I'm glad there is a hot pot/bbq place in Fort Smith. I like how there is no rush to finish, only a fee if there are leftovers. The sauce bar is plentiful of ingredients, so you can make a sauce to taste. Because of these factors, I leave with a full belly. I would say eating here is a bit pricey for the amount of options and limits they have, but it's a nice place to eat with friends or family. It would be nice if the octopus/calamari was served unseasoned and for all of the ingredients to be interchangeable for hotpot or bbq. I feel like this limit causes people to be less open to purchasing one option over the other, or could pose as a deal breaker -- sometimes I end up not going because I'm in the mood for octopus in soup. Other comments: I also think it's out of the ordinary for octopus to be grilled over being boiled in Asian cuisine, but this can be an unpopular opinion of mine. All the rage in the Fort right now. The place is good but you essentially pay a lot to cook your own meal. That's why I gave it a 4 vs a 5 - price point is very high and you cook your own food - unless you purchase from the menu which is what I will plan to do if I go again. The service is fine and the folks were friendly - that should be for steak prices - for a family of 4 - we spent $200+/- with tip - why tip if you cook your own food!?!? I don't mind places like this - they are cool for something different but probably isn't my fave way to spend the money and the night cooking. I have no idea what everyone's issues are with this business. As an Asian that goes to AYCE's I can say that they run their business the same as any other AYCE. Food was great, a ton of options, the sides were amazing. The food came out quicker then they usually do which is a major plus. I do wish they had more vegetable sides. I also wish they provided the salt for the sesame oil dipping sauce. I had to use the table salt one but they usually have a large container to scoop from. The ambiance was really beautiful and had that classic Korean AYCE feel. The place looked very clean and our server constantly asked for a grill change. For those that rated this low had either a bad apple server or they don't understand how a Korean AYCE is ran and functions. Just like the first time, the food was fresh, services was nice (especially when I made a mistake ordering) and super helpful. It's definitely a good addition to the Fort Smith area with a hotel close by if you wanna enjoy the AYCE, you have good options. They have hot pot, KBBQ, and a great selection for their menu and sauce bar. A nice array of seafood, beef, veggies, tofu, noodles, and soup bases. Went with a party of three, all of us ordered the Korean BBQ. Yes, it's a bit expensive at $30 per person, but considering the selection and that you get all you want for 2 hours, I think it's actually a pretty great value. Hot bar/Sauce bar is free with BBQ or Hot Pot. There's not a huge selection available, but its an accessory to your dinner, not the main draw. The Daikon radish kimchi, seaweed salad, french fries, and make-your-own sauce selection were outstanding! As for the BBQ, you have a tablet at your table and at any time during your dinner you can select items you want to order to your table using it, and once you submit a request someone will bring it to you. Service was outstanding and we usually had anything we ordered in just a few minutes after submitting the request. On one or two occasions it took MAYBE 5 minutes or so, but all in all the speed at which you get food is very fast and you will not need to worry about your time being eaten up (pun intended) while you wait. Also, every 15-20 minutes or so, the server will replace your grill plate with a clean one so you always have a clean grill and don't have burned bits building up. I was a big fan of the spicy calamari, lamb, beef bulgogi, and beef belly, but everything we had (and we had quite a few other items as well) was very good. Will definitely return here. read more

They charge you $30 for soup! and the rules are ridiculous all the way. People cannot order different food ao the whole table has to order the same. Low quality meat and the staff is very unhappy. Also, they weight the waste from your table and will charge you more if you pass the threshold allowed per table. The manager did not wanted to seat my family until everyone was there because she "did not want to explain the rules again."! Seriously? If you do not want to cook your own food, do not go to this place. Small town restaurant and not a lot of competition to raise the standards of quality! While I live in Ft. Smith, I've been on an extended vacation for the last couple of years. Upon my return I was pleasantly surprised to find a new Ramen and Hot Pot Restaurant, on Phoenix Ave. I do believe this is a first for Fort Smith and so, I just had to try ... and, boy am I glad I did. The restaurant is very well appointed with their Kpot Branding throughout giving them a strong identity. The service was quick and friendly even though we went quite close to the time of taking their last customer. They welcomed us in and served us with a smile. We opted for the Korean BBQ and was delighted by the variety of endless meats, veggie options and a self serve station with all the fixins; as well as well placed instructions to help you along. The meats were super fresh, served within a few minutes of ordering and while the $30. price point seems a little high, I was quite satisfied when I left and will be a regular customer when I'm home, in Fort Smith. read more

Been going just about every week since they've opened. Food quality and service had gone downhill. Found a dead fly in our beer. Food doesn't come out as promptly as when they first opened. When you finally order (according to wait staffs instructions) you end up with way too much food in which you are charged extra for if you don't eat it all. Then, after you pay over $100 for two people you aren't allowed to take your leftovers home. Was told we were waiting on a bigger table for our group just for them to sit another group at the table we were waiting for. We were 1st on the waitlist and they passed us up about 5 or more times and let people go ahead of us. The lady upfront. Her name was Alexis and she has red hair, she is the rudest person I think I have ever met. She was not helpful at all, she was purposefully helping the people around us and letting them go ahead. When we finally got sat down we had the nicest waiters, the food came out really fast and we had fun. This is our second time being here. Food was great, no issue with that at all. Server was great for the most part, definitely had a better experience with our first server. She checked in on us but nothing spectacular. It's my birthday so we were celebrating. My husband mentioned multiple times that it was my birthday. While there, they sang to 4 different people. He asked if I got an ice cream or something for my birthday because our two hours was almost up and nothing had happened. The server explained that they just have ice cream they give out to anyone. My husband told her since it's my birthday let's get her chocolate, trying to drop another hint. She comes back with two ice creams and drops them on the table and tells us to enjoy. No group singing or anything. We were a bit stunned considering we knew they do something for birthdays. As we were finishing paying and heading out, she even told me to have a happy birthday.
