SERVEPRO TEAM DAVIS A Devastating Experience That Still Haunts Me.In 2002, after a house fire, I…read morehired SERVPRO of Easton, Bethlehem, and Whitehall (Team Davis) to help with cleanup and restoration. What followed was a deeply painful and frustrating experience that I've never forgotten. First they dragged my things from Allentown to Easton so it would be at least a 35 to 45 min drive there to even try to get any of my things . When i went there to pick up something. they didn't have anything cleaned months later and things were piled in a warehouse next to other peoples things so close as to add confusion as to what or who owned what. They charged me $15,000 to clean clothes stored in containers in the attic--items that were old and not even smoke-damaged. They used a basic washing machine, shrunk several coats, and left my wedding dress hanging in the basement, untouched, where it eventually rotted. I didn't receive invoices for eight months, and when I finally did, they were vague and lacked itemization. Many items hadn't even been cleaned until months later. They mishandled my signed baseball collection, which was stored in labeled containers marked "Do Not Touch." They dumped them out, returned them soot-soiled, and some signatures were faded. I still don't know if they returned the originals. My Joseph Original musical figurines, which were sentimental and collectible, were cleaned in a dishwasher. Several were broken, and none of them play music anymore. They also tried to return furniture that was stripped of its varnish and visibly faded, items like my sofa they chose to clean and bill for instead of turning over to the insurance company .Precious paintings disappeared several i painted and one my grandmother gave me. I sent some ruined things almost all of the furniture back, and they promised to invoice and submit it to insurance--but never did. It was so much they did wrong to us. Computers and electronics that weren't covered by insurance were never returned. Items with protective covers--like photo albums and cards--were dumped out and returned loose, without any packaging. Worst of all, I had a 6-year-old child at the time whose room was full of toys, many unopened disney ect. Which were never returned, a small amount of polypocket things thrown in a box and if I had duplicates, like special fancy barbies she collected only one would be given back. I had a person ask me for an old monopoly game i had since a kid He said He collected them ,I said no.. Well along with other things was never returned. I thought what did my 6 year old do to deserve this. What did we do to deserve this kind of treatment. Stealing from a child.? Things were so dirty and ruined and When I tried to push back, I was pressured to sign a final release to get my remaining belongings Which at the time I did not even know what was there yet. I felt intimidated and just wanted what little I had left that hadn't been stolen, ruined, or discarded. This wasn't just bad service--it was a complete failure of ethics, professionalism, and basic human decency. I'm sharing this now so others know to ask questions, demand transparency, and think twice before trusting this franchise with anything irreplaceable. i carried this for 20 years--and My story deserves to be heard. If I had to do it over again .I probably would rent a storage facility and had all my items removed to there. Just because you haven't seen many reviews that are negative with these types of places doesn't mean it isn't happening.I wrote several reviews years ago but i guess over the years they get taken down .I personally don't know how these people sleep at night. Its strange that on sites the bad reviews from local people are hidden under not recommended yet good reviews are from people that don't even live in the local area. That's concerning for legitimate reviews being shown on here. SERVPRO of Easton, Bethlehem and Whitehall/Team Davis. It's unfortunate for the owners of this business Dawn and Stephen That The years don't fade the things you did in the past or maybe still. May God forgive you for all the damage you've done to people who gave you their trust. I want people to know that they need to demand transparency and paperwork from this business or any business like them on day one and take pictures and don't let them near your dearest and loved possessions,

Not much to say other then called theses people, never got a response so went elsewhere and never…read morelooked back!
